Love this confident Khushi who had the strength of mind to go against her aunt, leave her familiar surroundings, settle down in a new place and find a new lease on life. Not accepting charity but working hard to set up her own small business raises her in my eyes. Her disappointment at Arnav not acknowledging her tea-brewing skills and her determination to make him do so make her lovable! Her happiness at getting the pair of shoes she wanted is cute. How a child views a 'deformity' depends on his parents... if his parents treat him normally, he is bound to be confident of himself and won't shut himself off... that doesn't seem to be the case here: his dad's comments and the attitude of the rest of society seems to have left an impact on Arnav. Khushi sending her assistant away on a needless errand so she could personally serve Arnav is cute... Cheeku's confusion at her antics is amusing. Love this new style of romance... comparing the eyes to tea or to its aroma: Robust. Intense... ''Your eyes resembles Darjeeling oolong tea.'' And Arnav constantly drawn to her fragrance is a nice touch. He is attracted to Khushi's simplicity and kindness, yet won't allow that attraction to blossom into something more... his dad and the others must have really done a number on him! Khushi's sunny disposition seems to find an echo in Lavanya. Wow, Cheeku and Leechi... what a combination! Khushi googling 'scoliosis' and accepting Arnav for who and how he is shows what a supportive partner she would be to him. The sibling banter between him and Lavi is cute, especially how he repeatedly ignores her wish that he address her as 'La'! A true reflection of their love. The whole part about Prof. Jha was plain funny! Lavanya's desperation to set Arnav up with an acquaintance of hers and his mind drifting off to thoughts of Khushi is very realistically drawn. The Sheetal-Arnav scenario reminded me strongly of a scene in an old Sanjay Dutt - Salman Khan - Madhuri Dixit starrer 'Saajan'. Khushi's sadness at the closeness she noticed between Arnav and Lavanya changing swiftly to relief is cute as is Cheeku's decision to help her romance along rather than just teasing her. Didn't in my wildest dreams imagine Cheeku's real name is Aman Mathur! If Arnav and Khushi are in a story, can Aman be far behind?
Well, like Arnav, didn't expect the ride to be a scooty... nice of him to sit behind Khushi without much fuss! Arnav, as much as he tried to lean back could'nt possibly do so if he wanted to save himself from tumbling back while this woman, he wondered might not even come to know of his disapperance given the fact how much merrily she was lost in riding with a smile on her face... an amusing thought, I must say! Khushi's tresses and dupatta falling across his face thanks to the breeze and Arnav's quietly taming them is cute. Arnav's quick-thinking saving the two from a nasty accident, his manoeuvre of plastering his body to hers, and her brain taking a vacation at his 'Tum teek ho?' are great Rabba ve moments! Coming in front of her to face her, he looked at her with concern in his pools of oolong... lovely description. Khushi's concern for Arnav for his backache and planning to take her Alto the next time clearly indicates her envisioning a future together... the small twist, you have given in your story, to the various relationships we were used to seeing on-screen is intriguing. Their increasing comfort-level and sense of contentment in each other's presence culminates in the realisation that they really can't keep away from each other. Their kiss is gentle yet sensuous! With the heavy downpour, stinging them slightly, they kissed each other, a kiss that was water, him and her, as the rain formed a sparkling, greyish white curtain around them as if shielding them from the external world... beautiful! Arnav withdrawing from the kiss and enclosing his heart within its barriers is understandable, the moment his vulnerabilities come to the fore. Khushi's apprehensions unluckily come true... Arnav is distancing himself from her... her confession of love, at his outburst, is quite moving, especially when she stops her tears from spilling out. Love the supportive sister and friend Lavanya proves herself to be: her admonishing Khushi for wallowing in self-pity and persuading her to get answers from Arnav for her own self-respect is wonderful, especially as it paves the way for these two hurting souls to get together. A soaked Arnav yearning for Khushi's warm cup of tea was endearing... '' I don't want to. And if there is anything that has to be known then tell me all those time spent together meant nothing. That when we kissed meant nothing. That I mean nothing.'' This feisty Khushi is amazing... Arnav stands no chance against her... he might just as well give in and admit to his love for her! There was no running away. He would'nt. This warmth and fuzziness that even tea could'nt get. But it was all it took to reach here and he could'nt be more thankful for it. He smiled at her and reached out to kiss her again as Khushi s' last coherent thought was that she loved these Darjeeling oolong orbs... beautiful sentiments, especially when coupled with the tea analogy! A heart-warming story that brought a smile to my face!
