Part 9:
Morning kriya woke up and got ready for the big day of her life...for the first time she is going to sign a deal...its her life's first project on which she will be working from the beginning...she was very excited and at the same time nervous too...and today she is missing her dad badly...she needed his support today...
She was thinking all this and combing her hair, when Smriti calls kriya from down stairs...kriya checks the time, it was just 7.15 am...they will be leaving for the office around 9...she goes down and Smriti gives her a orange juice glass to give it to rey...
Smriti : rey after taking bath, tayyar hote waqt usse kuch liquid lene ki aadat hai...you know juice, milkshakes or cold coffee...so please give it to him...
Kriya : ok mom...kriya takes the glass and goes to rey's bedroom...the scene there was breath taking...kriya stands still at the door totally shocked...rey has just came out taking shower...he was in his track pant only...without shirt...and standing infront of mirror, spraying his deo all over his upper body...on top of it, rey's well built muscles were making kriya to gulp..
Rey after few seconds turned to the door side and saw kriya standing there with a juice glass in her hand...she was checking his muscles...he smiles remembering the phone conversation of kriya and swayam(beach convo, when rey was with swayam)...rey clears his throat to bring kriya back...and succeeds...
Kriya :(embarrassed, looking here and there) aa...juice...(forwards juice glass to rey)
Rey : thanks...so...
Kriya : so?
Rey : impressed?
Kriya : impressed ? With what?(confused)
Rey : (wearing a simple black tee) muscles...
Kriya: mu..mu muscles? (Trying to act unaffected) Salman khan is my favorite hero...ha...uske muscles dekhe hai?
Rey : (smiles)(sipping juice) who cares? I asked about my muscles...
Kriya : I care...and your muscles?(starts to look at his muscles but didn't get guts) okay-okay hai
Rey : hmm ...okay okay? Sochlo...you can't touch his muscles...but you can touch
Kriya : what ? How do you know I want to touch his...
Before kriya could complete her sentence, they hear the door bell...Smriti opens the door and smiles at the person who indicates smriti to be quite and enters the house followed by sharon all smiling...meanwhile Rey and kriya go down to join Smriti for breakfast...as soon as kriya see the person, run into his arms and hugs him tightly...after few secs they free themselves from hug
Kriya : gautam papa kab aaye aap? I am so so sooo happy to see you today...love you papa...
Gautam(Sharon's dad) : bas kal night jab Sharon call karke batayi about rey's arrival and about your first official project, next flight leke agaya...how can I miss to be with my child on such a important day of her life...?
Kriya just hugs him once again...she was once again touched by his love and affection...since kriya and Smriti shifted to this apartment, Gautam and shashi(neha's dad)were always there for kriya whenever she missed her dad...today is no different...he came to be her side as her father...
Gautam : bas bas...rey se nahi milwaoge?
Kriya : oh sorry sorry papa...kriya introduces rey to Gautam...
Smriti : lets have breakfast...
When they were going towards dining table, Sharon taps on rey's shoulder and whispers in his ears
Sharon : can I ask you some personal question?
The other 3 goes and sit for breakfast...rey stays back with Sharon
Rey : sure
Sharon :(whispers in rey's ears) do you use "axe"(deo)?
Rey : (whispers back) yeah...
Sharon :(grins then whispers in his ears slowly) dont use it when you go for meeting with kriya...she likes it a lot...according to her...(pause for few secs then continues) its really very tempting...you know?...understand what I mean?
Rey :(shuts his eyes smiling and then whispers back) thanks...for sharing it..(winks at Sharon to which Sharon smiles widely)
During breakfast gautam discusses about the project with rey and gives few very important suggestions...rey felt really happy discussing with Gautam...
Rey : uncle if you dont mind can you join with us in this meeting?...we really needed who can understand our age thought process and gives suggestions...
Gautam: sure...why not? Waise bhi I had decided to come to office to be with kriya today..
Rey : thank you uncle...rey really liked Gautam...
Someone enters there at that time,
Person : did I miss something?
Kriya : shashi papa...good morning papa(she goes and gives him a side hug)
Kriya introduces rey to shashi also...
Shashi :rey beta I heard that you are leaving tomorrow only? 2-3 din aur rehte...you see kriya ki family bahot badi hai...sab se mile bina kaise ja sakte ho tum?
Rey : sorry uncle but work load bahot hai and this visit is totally unplanned and unexpected so can't adjust much holidays...
Shashi : hmm tho teek hai...work comes first...we dont force you but tumhe sab se tho milna hi hoga...so its decided then...(excited)
Gautam : abey oye kya decided?
Shashi : yahi ki tonight there will be a family party on my behalf...exclusively for rey...hone wala damaad hai bhai...pehli bar aaya hai ghar...party tho banti hai...
Kriya Sharon : yesss...you both are world's best dads...love youuu...mhua mhua mhuaaa...
Rey : (smiles) but uncle iski koi jarurat nahi hai...I will personally come and meet all of you...
Gatam : no rey you have come to Bangalore for the first time...celebration tho hoga...and as shashi said you are our future son in law...agar nahi bhi hote tho bhi party hota because
Shashi : because tum hamare payal behan ke bete ho and pehli bar aaye ho yahan...its our style to welcome..
Rey was really touched by all these love and affection...they already accepted him as their son in law...rey thought kriya is really lucky to have such a family...loving family...
Smriti : so its decided after meeting I will head back to home for party preparation...I hope you both(looking at rey and kriya) will manage the formalities and paper work after meeting...
Rey : sure mom...(and kriya just nods)
With that shashi and Sharon went to inform others about the party and rey, kriya, Smriti and Gautam went to office...the meeting went really on a good note...it ends around 12 in the noon...after that Smriti and Gautam went back to home...rey and kriya went to kriya's cabin to finish off all other formalities and paper works...it was 2.00pm when they are finally done with all the formalities...
Kriya : rey lets go and have something...I am really hungry...
Rey : really now?
Kriya : what do you mean by that?
Rey : main kal se dekh raha hoon kriya...you didn't have your dinner properly yesterday and morning also you didn't eat anything...
Kriya :(smiles) I was happy that's why...
Rey : oh tho ab kush nahi ho? How come you are feeling hungry now?
Kriya : haha sach bolu? I am not hungry now also...bas tumhare liye bol rahi thi...you must be hungry na? Itz too late
Rey :(smiles) okay order something will have here only if you don't mind...todi der baatein bhi hojayegi ..
Kriya : perfect...what do you want to have ? Pizza?
Rey : yup. .I love pizzas...
Kriya orders pizza...
Rey : kriya can I ask you something?
Kriya : sure
Rey : since morning why are you trying to keep distance between us? I mean physically...
Yes kriya in meeting also sat 2 seats away from rey and after that while completing formalities in her cabin, she made rey to sit on her chair in her cabin and she kept on walking in the cabin while discussing things with rey and her company legal advisers and finance department people...she never went near Rey...always maintained 2-3 steps distance...and rey very well knew why...Sharon told him in the morning..."the axe temptations secret" of kriya...and on top of that when kriya came to give him juice in the morning, he was using AXE exactly the way they show it in advertisements...
Kriya :(adjusting her hair behind her ear) n...nooo...aisa kuch nahi hai(avoids eye contact)
Rey :(smiles) accha? I thought tum pe bhi meri axe ki jaadu chali hai...you know
Kriya : what ? What do you mean?
Rey : you know girls like my axe temptations
Kriya : no...I mean what do you mean by "tum pe bhi"?
Rey: girls like my deo kriya...they get tempted...(enjoying her anger and confused state)
Kriya : tempted for what?
Rey : to come close to me...(thought in mind "I am loving it")
Kriya fumes at rey...
Rey : but you are different...you didn't get tempted...infact you stayed away from me after I used my axe...
Kriya : tho tum girls ko apne paas attract karne aise products use karte ho?
Rey : what do you think?
Kriya : seriously rey? Girls ke liye ye sab?
Rey :(smiles) I avoid using it whenever I go for parties...use other brand...only I use it when I go to office...because I know itz effect...
Kriya :(still not convinced) cross her hands on her front and stands looking away from rey...
Rey : okay sorry...I was just teasing you...
Kriya : itz okay...now onwards you will use it only when you are with me...(still avoiding looking at him)
Rey :(grins widely) are you sure? You know its very tempting...you sure you dont get tempted?
Kriya thinks bitting her nails " yeh tho maine socha hi nahi...ab kya karu? Universe ji(looking up) aap kyun mujse aise kuch bulwate ho hamesha jisske waje se badme main pachthati hoon"
Rey understood her state...
Rey : kriya...kriya relax...actually Sharon told me about your "turn on" state of this Axe...so I was just pulling your legs...
Kriya : what? Sharon ne bataya tumhe ye sab? Uski tho...chodungi nahi main usse...ab swayam ko aisI aisi secrets bataungi ki...
Rey : ki?
Kriya : ki...unki kuchi mahino me shaadi hojayegi...
Rey laughs loudly...
