Chapter 3 - The Perfect..
Arnav had decided to wait for some more time and then confess his love..
Wait for the perfect time---
Little did he know that there is no perfect time for such things and maybe waiting for the perfect time...it becomes all too late.
And currently he was just lying on the couch watching an english movie when the doorbell rang. Nobody was in the house di, nani and mami had gone to mandir, Akash and mamaji were out on a bussiness trip and the servants were also on a holiday as it was ram navmi .
He went and opened the door only to be encircled in a bone crushing hug by his cousin. "nanav mere bhai ..i'm soo happy today" said he still hugging him.
"NK choro mujhai and tell what happened that you are soo happy." He asked in a not so interested tone.
'waise bhi bataye bina toh tum mujhai choro gai nahi' (anyway you'll not leave me without telling) said arnav in his head.
"mere shadi hone wale hai" he answered as he released arnav from that hug.
And looking at arnav NK could see his shocked experessions and wonder why is arnav shocked.
But why wouldn't he be 'iss paagal irritating se bhi koi larke shadi karne ko' was what arnav was wondering. Because he never thought any girl in her right senses will agree to marry NK. NK !!!
NK was his elder mami's son. His elder mama and mami lived in delhi
They were not as rich as the raizada's but were a happy small family consisting of ram kumar, his wife sima kumar and their so nandkishore kumar. Living in the same city kumar's and raizada's met frequently.
They went towards the living room of the mansion and NK started to narrate his not so dramatic love story in his a lot of dramatic way.
"isn't my love story perfect..nanav ?" he asked as he finished his story.
And that mad arnav a little envious that even NK was easily able to confess his love he knew he has to do something soon.

khushi was really busy with some media wrork and had totally lost of any confession from arnav...he didn't even try to meet her the past few days...as if he was ignoring her...for almost a week they have not seen each other and this had made khushi's mode really bad and she had immersed herself in work.
she was in her study working when suddenly lavanya entered the room.
"get ready we are going for shopping" she announced as she entered not giving a single chance for khushi to speak.

Lavanya her childhood friend was a shopaholic and just loved shopping and when yesterday the date of her engagement was fixed with NK she the next moment had started preparing a mental list of the items she needed to shop for her engagement. And also for the dinner date she had today with NK in which she was going to meet her would be jiju.
She had chosen the perfect dress for her engagement. It was a light blue lehenga with silver border with a golden and silver embroidery duppata.
And it was crazy but khushi started to feel envious of lavanya who had got her perfect love story and she was still waiting for her love story to be complete'she wondered if it ever would be even complete.
She noticed the happy smile on her face which was there 24x7 and the dreamy look whenever she wondered about his reaction in that lehenga and thought that she wanted to be in her place.
The shopped for sometime and then a tired khushi forcefully dragged lavanya to the food court saying that she was hungry while lavanya wanted to shop some more

NK had just now left after having lunch with him. He had himself invited him for lunch saying he was hungry and will have food here and before arnav could say anything he started heating the food anjali had left for arnav.
The had talked about some random topic and then NK told that his engagement date got fixed and he had actually came to invite everyone.
He gave the invitation card to arnav not before saying that it is just a formality and they were family so they had to come.

Lavanya left for home after sometime of their return to khushi's home after shopping. She had also invited khushi for her engagement. Lavanya had also helped khushi choosing a pink anarkali for her when they go to meet NK tonight for dinner.

"tring tring" lavanya's phone ringed as she was busy selecting matching jewellery for the dress she had brought to wear today for the dinner...after all this was the first time they were going out for dinner after NK's confession ...though it was not a date and khushi was coming with her but you can't go to meet your fiance just like that ! she thought.
She saw that it was from NK and a small loving smile creep over her face and she answerers the call

She sighted as she disconnected the call...so not three but four people were going to dinner...NK had just told her that he is going to bring his cousin with him because NK wanted him to meet his would be wife.

Arnav sat on his recliner lost in his thoughts obviously about khushi as the dinner still had time left. His thoughts wandered over to the time when khushi said she wanted the perfect
Marriage proposal in the world.
~Flashback~
A 10 year old khushi came running towards an 11 year old in his room and sat on the nearby couch as he kept aside the video game he was playing with and looked at his best friend who looked at him with a dreamy-look.
"what happened ?" he asked with a cute confused face looking at her expressions. "arnav do you believe in love and happily ever afters ?" she suddenly asked still with that dreamy expression. "huh ?" his confusion only increased with her question.
"tell na…"
"why are you suddenly asking me this ?"
"uff…tum aise nahi manoge…woh kya hai na today I read a romantic "fairytale in which the prince falls in love with the princess which is the daughter of his kingdom's enimes…but more than their ages ago hate loved win and then prince confesses his love to the princess and they both live happily ever after…accha ab batao do you believe that love exists…. Matlab I know it does…I love mama papa all my friends and u but does really such love happens…batao na"
"pagli…" he muttered under his breath.
"of course it does khushi doesn't our mama papa love each other are married to each other and live happily with us ?"
"huum… you are right …that means I'll also find my prince charming when I grow up"
"yes..maybe you do khushi"
"yeh…" she gave him her brightest smile and excitedly started jumping on the bed..
"yipee…you know what arnav I want the most handsome prince in the world and I want him to propose me in a special way… the most perfect way.
~Flashback ends~
He remembered and smiled.
He wanted to be khushi's prince and wants to fulfil her wish of a perfect proposal and here he doesn't even know if he will be able to say even a word when the time comes.
btw we are very near to their confession just few more chapters
ok so firstly who say that this is a short updates..i already feel so but I am really busy being in class 11th this all is so new to me suddenly homework and studies have just doubled and I am already bad at time management..so sorry for the late update and mistakes...
