khushi, in her mind, scrolling down the list of possible transgressions and coming up empty was cute and funny... her spewing water on being told of arnav wanting to get married reminded me of her spewing water on him at the dhaba! poor thing didn't realise she was the unlucky girl he wanted to marry... loved all the images, especially the first one, which has aptly captured arnav's feelings of confusion, fear and uncertainty.
khushi giving arnav a tongue lashing over the phone 👏 had me dancing a jig! using his full name as an insult was truly epic... his attempts at apologising and his appeal to her to marry him so she could avenge herself on him for all the hurt had given her were heart-rending... he knows his sins against her are too great to be forgiven! arnav immediately rushing to laxminagar, on realising that khushi was in tears, was very touching.
heart-warming to see buaji's supportive side... she always seems to have a soft corner for young, handsome men 😛! in the midst of all of arnav's reasons for proposing marriage -- he being a bachelor and she a spinster; nani, di and mami waiting for her to be a part of their family -- not once has he admitted that he loves her and can't live without her!
loved khushi giving full rein to her pent-up emotions and screaming at arnav without allowing him to get a word in edgeways... she getting physical with him by pushing his chest and grabbing him by the collar was a treat... agree with khushi that he's a coward and a cheat! arnav meekly listening to her wasn't very surprising, maybe because he knew she was right and also that voicing her hurt and anger might prove cathartic! arnav deserves every bit of pain he feels on seeing khushi's tears... felt a pang in my heart at these words: "Khushi? Khushi is dead'. You killed her on Diwali night'.." She shook him, her anguish in the open for him to see. they reveal a world of unspeakable pain... they reflect how soul-destroying arnav's words and actions have been, making it difficult for one to forgive him! khushi has every right and reason to doubt arnav's reasons for proposing marriage, as he never seems to know what he wants in the process hurting both lavanya and khushi! "If I agree to marry you, and Lavanyaji comes back, you will break my heart again and go after her '" khushi's fears are quite rational and justified, given that arnav previously has proven to be very fickle.
He laid her head on her pillow, and arranged her limbs in a comfortable position. He covered her with her red blanket, and sat on the bed by her. Her face was tear-stained. Swallowing hard, he gently wiped her face clean with his fingers. Arnav sat there, her soft cheek cradled in his palm, watching her to his heart's content. the gentleness of arnav's actions reflects the immense love in his heart for khushi, a love that he doesn't know how to express in words! happy that you incorporated this beautiful scene from the show. hope that now the emotional storm is over, these two hurting souls can begin to rebuild their relationship.
