Awesome, marvelous, brilliant update with surprising and shocking revelation. It is really an unexpected twist that Khushi is physically handicapped and that is the reason for her broken marriage as well. Never ever in my dreams as well I imagined this. This is the second FF where I'm seeing Khushi with some form of disability or having issues in physical appearance...I'm sure you will probably unfold how inner beauty is important than the physical appearance in terms of Arnav's immense love to Khushi, and not sympathize with her for her limp...I'm damn sure that he would be regretting for blurting out such words at Khushi without knowing her state...
You have beautifully depicted Arnav's turmoils of not being living a normal kids life with full of love.. His insecurity that Khushi is more than him to his dad, and she getting all the love, care, attentions from his family, which he was his right but he was devoid of all this since childhood. Who would have thought that after being born with a proverbial silver spoon, what he was finally destined for was a life of affluent loneliness and silent pain, so true that happiness can't be bought by money... Looking forward to see how you are going to make Arnav come out of these insecurities..
'What did you do Miss Khushi Gupta that your fiance ran away? Oh, lemme guess, you unleashed your sharp tongue on him? Or were you cheating on the poor fellow?' he asked in a mocking serious tone.
'I believe it became my business the moment I was dragged into your mess' he will see to it that this girl never speaks to him like that. As if all she is getting in this house is not enough, she dares to challenge his position in his dad's life.
'You saw yourself out of that mess, didn't you? And why are you bringing that up now? Can't you just let go?' she pleaded.
'Damn right I saw myself out of that mess. What did you think that I'll marry you?' he spat.
'No. And even if you had agreed, I wouldn't have. I had no intention to drag you into my messy life' she said while getting up. 'And although I don't want to, I will still try to talk to you in front of bade papa. It will make him happy that at least one of us is trying to get along' she added as she pushed the chair back.
Arnav's behaviour towards Khushi as been very rude... How can she be at fault if his Dad asked him to marry her? Also if you see from Arnav's POV - his insecurity towards Khushi getting all his share of love and his ego/anger is making him behave like this towards her..Khushi, she is very strong and confident.. She is trying to see that her bade papa is not hurt due to them, she is not very caring and is going an extra mile to ensure that they have cordial relationship infront of her bade papa even though she knows how much Arnav hates her...
Khushi in Arnav's arms.. Arnav had no intention to sit back and watch a girl fall and hurt herself. Wow, that great... It was the first time Arnav actually noticed her deep sparkling orbs with emerald flecks. He did not want to notice them, but had no other option for those had to be the largest pair of doe like eyes he had seen set on such small oval face. Also it was hard to miss them. They literally glowed. Arnav is staring at her big doe like eyes...Wow, witnessing the first sparks of attraction here... Looks like he is already falling for her :-)
You left us at cliff. Curiously waiting to see how you are penning down his reactions this new found revelation and also to know how Arnav sets his journey down the lane towards his mission MKM..
