The update was very mature I should say...I mean the situation in which Khushi finds herself now is something similar to mine now...marriage or living the fantasy...tough decision...really tough!

I wonder what her desicion is going to be! I say she takes the leap and chooses to stay with him!!! But then her family is going to alienate her...

I liked how you fit in the Heer Ranjha dialogue in this story! Nicely done!

The entire update was so visual - this is classic Arnav and Khushi - Sobti and Irani - All the characters,in fact. Even Abhaas as Shyam - I think I like this one better - the one that's gray not black - more real

yea its true that he cant give her relation she wanted from childhood but he can give her that she never have A love most wanted security sense of relief a lyf for herself
nd more important she cant destroy arnav's faith

congratulations on thread 3!

wow, what a shocker! looved the revelation that turned all my preconceived notions on their head! here I was thinking shyam was a slimeball and he is anything but... just slightly narrow-minded or conservative in ourlook... nothing wrong in being pragmatic: he felt he couldn't aspire to anjali's hand so settled to khushi... along with him, we all also heaved a sigh of relief on knowing that the engagement has fallen through, leaving khushi and shyam relieved... my respect for shyam went up a notch when he came to see if she was all right, calmly accepted her decision on learning that she hadn't been coerced and also was calm in the face of arnav's ire... anjali's eagerness to depart conveyed the feeling that she wanted to catch up to shyam... looks like there's attraction / love on both sides... I agree with arnav that her family is at fault but he's not blameless either... he blames them for coercingher into an unwanted marriage but he's been manipulating and blackmailing her to force her into a relationship with him... so where's the difference?

happy to see both being honest with each other about their feelings and what they expect from relationshiops... but their dilemma remains the same as, despite their strong feelings for each other, both want different things from life!

and so, we're left hanging! wonder what khushi's decision will be... the choice is between the devil and the deep blue sea! if she returns, she'll have to face buaji's strictures and society's taunts, but if she remains, she'll lose the only safety net she ever had as well as giving up on her dream of a happy married life
