Part 5

Arnav was sitting at the edge of the bed recalling Khushi's words.. 'If you ever force me again I swear I will leave you forever..' Her words surely beak his heart.. The way she was behaving create a big doubt in his brain.. He just wanted her to be fine and stay healthy but her sudden lashes was unbearable for him.. She didn't even bother his feelings before uttering those words.. He understand her condition as she is pregnant and it might be her mood swings.. He took a deep breath and went down to look for her..

Kitchen

Khushi was washing dishes and her back was facing at the kitchen's door.. She feels disturb with her own words.. She didn't mean to uttering those words but circumstance was not allowing her to follow his ways.. She doesn't want him to find out about her complication at least not in this moments.. She would tell him once she finds the right time.. She washes the dishes with teary eye.. She feel bad for her husband.. He might be hurt.. Arnav saw her in the kitchen.. He walk in and hug her from back.. She was shocked by the sudden touch.. But she could recognize each and every touch of his..

Aranv: "Khushi.." Almost whispering in her ear.. She stood numbly and continue watching the dishes.. She was not responding to him.. He hold her working hand from behind and sign her to stop.. He wash the soap from her hand under the flowing water and make her turn to him.. He took a small towel from side and wipe her hand.. She was looking at him with filled eyes.. Once he was done with her hand.. He cupped her face and kiss her cheeks.. "I'm sorry.." She embrace him and start to sobs..

Khushi: "Arnavji.. I don't want to go to Dr.Shewta.." She cried out.. He feels guilty for her condition.. He didn't mean to hurt her.. For him her health come first and she look weak for him and that's the reason he took an appointment from Dr.Shewta and her health was decreasing day by day..

Arnav: "Okey.. But please stop crying.." He took her out from his embrace and wipe her tear with his thumbs and took her out from the kitchen and went straight to their room..

Arshi's room

He make her seat on the bed and went to the wardrobe to take out his gift for her.. He walked to her and seat beside her.. He placed a red lengha with two sets of necklace on her lap.. She give him a puzzle look..

Arnav: "Khushi.. This is for your godh bherayi (Baby shower)" She smile to him.. Her hand move to touch the material and her lips curve a beautiful smile for him.. The necklace which is bought by him for her was one of her favourite.. She hugs him and place a peck on his lips..

Khushi: "Thank you Arnavji.." She broke the hug and his hand cares for her creamy cheeks..

Arnav: "Khushi.. I will make you ready with my own hand on your godh bherayi.. I want the mother of my baby to be the most beautiful on our babies important day.."He wanted to participate in every and each function which is head for their baby.. At first he don't like to attend any family rituals but now he is the one planning for it.. His unborn baby has change his behavior a lot..

Khushi was getting ready and Arnav was looking at her with frustrated eye.. She was being too stubborn..

Arnav: "Khushi.. You can't go.." She turn and give him a stern look..

Khushi: "Arnavji.. It's only matter for two hours and Anisha is mine and Di's best friend.."She tried to convince him..

Arnav: "Khushi.. You are in your fifth month.. How can I let you go.." He was worried on her health.. If he doesn't have an important meeting to attend he would have follow them..

Khushi: "It Anisha's engagement Arnavji.. and how this possible I don't attend it and my friend Ara will be there too" with her puppy face..

Arnav: "But Khushi.." been interrupt

Khushi: "Di is there.. You don't have to worry nothing going to happen to me.." He moves towards her and cupped her soft cheeks in his palm..

Arnav: "Khushi.. Promise me you will take care of yourself and our baby.." She nodded.. "Promise me.. You won't do any work at there.. If I found you doing any works then next time I won't let you step out of this house.." He very well know his wife's behavior.. She can't seat on one place and if it regarding a marriage she will happily give her hand to help without any hesitate..

Khushi: "I promise.. So can I go now.." She was about to move but been stop by him.. He kneel in front of her and his hand was on her waist.. He gently kiss her fifth month belly..

Arnav: "Baby.. Don't trouble your mom.. Be a good baby and papa loves you a lot.." He again kiss on it and stood on his foot and look in her moist eye.. "Khushi.."

Khushi: "Arnavji.. I'm happy seeing you loving our baby.." She wiped her tear..

Arnav: "What kind of question is this..?" with frown brow

Khushi: "Nothing.. I just feel happy.." She tries to avoid further inquire from him..

Arnav: "Khushi.. Did the baby kick you..?" She smiled..

Khushi: "Ya.. It's happen several time.." His eye widen.. His hand move to her belly..

Arnav: "Baby is a bad manner kicking your mom.. Don't do that again.. Mom might be hurt.. Be a papa's baby.." his hand was caressing her belly and she was looking at him lovely..

Khushi: "Arnavji.. Di is waiting for me.. I have to go.." Before she leave.. He kiss her forehead as he does everyday..

After two hours Arnav was back from his meeting.. He couldn't find Khushi at home.. She have told him she would be back within two hour.. He dial her mobile and she answer it..

Arnav: "Khushi.. where are you..?"

Khushi: "I'm still at the engagement.." she couldn't hear him properly as the noise of the music was disturbing their conversation..

Arnav: "Khushi.. Come back now.." He throw and order to her..

Khushi: "I will be back in one hour.." his eyes popped out..

Arnav: "One hour..!!" he shouts.. "No.. Come back now.." He determined..

Khushi: "How can I leave the engagement in half way..?" she feels angry on him..

Arnav: "I don't care Khushi.. it's regarding your health and nothing is important to me other then your health.. Just come back now.." He press his last words..

Khushi: "Arnavji.. Try to understand.. I'm fine and Di is here to take care of me.." his husband was being too concern to her..

Arnav: "Pass the line to Di.." She passed it has been told..

Anjali: "Chotte.."

Arnav: "Di.. What are both of you still doing there..?"

Anjali: "Chotte.. Don't worried we will be back soon and Khushiji is fine.. You don't worried about her.." As she know what he might be asking her.. She just make him calm and they disconnect the line..

Arnav was working on his laptop in his room.. His work been interrupt by a beep of message from his mobile.. He read it as it was from Aman..

'ASR we have to discuss on Kapoor's Project tomorrow and the file is with you.. I have passed it to Khushi mamm.. After going through the details of the report.. Let me know if there is any changes..'

He keep his mobile on the table and walk toward the wardrobe to find the file.. He saw few files in his wardrobe but he couldn't find Kapoor's file.. he decide to call Khushi.. She is the one who keep the files of his project..

Arnav: "Khushi.."

Khushi: "Now what??" she couldn't believe him calling her again.. He just call her half an hour ago and now he again call her..

Arnav: "I just wanted to know about the Kapoor's file which Aman passed to you.." She try to recall where she keep the file..

Khushi: "Arnavji.. I don't remember.." his jaw felt

Arnav: "What??".. He shouts in surprised.. "Khushi.. I need to go through the file for tomorrow meeting.." He couldn't believe she have forgot it so soon.. Aman have just pass it few days ago..

Khushi: "You try to check in the wardrobe.. It might be there.." He nodded and disconnect the call.. He again move to the wardrobe and try to search the file by his own.. Twenty minutes passed but still he couldn't find the file.. He slid the next door of the wardrobe and try to search again.. He found few files but it's not on Kapoor's project.. His eye capture a red file which is keep below some clothes.. He took out the file and saw it's written PREGNANCY REPORT.. This was one of the file which he was asking her but she refused to give him.. He slowly open the fail and read all the deprecation.. His brow frown while reading it..

'Regarding the condition of the patient from the lab examiner.. Patient Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada have to abort her baby due to weakness of her womb.. We found some bleeding in her womb and to avoid any complication in patient life in future.. We suggest the patient undergo a surgery of womb and the only way the patient can survive is living her life without her womb and aborting the baby is one of the step for patient to survive in future.. The baby will cause a conflict in her health and she will face a lot of difficulty in delivery the baby.. Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada can't be a mother in her life once she undergo the surgery..'

The report felt on the floor.. His hand was shivering and his eye moist reading every bit of the words written in the report.. He still couldn't believe the fact.. She will leave me forever..

this was a very beautiful update..im speechless i dont know what to say!!!!!it was totally emotional with lovely moments as well but the last part was heartbreaking even i felt how arnav felt..he loves her sooo much😭😭😭outstanding work and wonderfully written..if i was good with words i would go on n on hw well u depicted both kushi and arnav character n feelings but all i cn say n hope it manage to make u see it was more than beautiful..if i was there in front of u i wud give u a standing ovation and a bow lol for this brilliant piece of work...eagerly awaiting for part 6...
