So proud of Khushi - she stood her ground. Not one to be swept away by Hurricane Arnav. To do this one needs to be gutsy and courageous, clearly Khushi is both :) It good to clear things at the very beginning, than to land up at a place where they will both resent each other.

Except, only now they will realize the depth of their feelings for each other.

Ab kya hoga? Wahi hoga jo manzoor-e-Anjali hoga :D In meddlers we trust!

Hey congrats for being the spotlight FF of the week.. Well deserved!!!!!

Very mature NKay, you want to move on... That's great.. No point in feeling bitter about the whole issue... My respect level for u just went up another notch!!!

I liked Khushi's strong stand with Arnav... She stuck to her beliefs and didn't get swayed by her feelings for Arnav... When ur in love or if u r having these kinds of strong and strange magnetic pull towards someone, it's very difficult to formulate rational thoughts... At a weak moment like this, to remember what ur parents have drilled into u from the beginning takes a Herculean effort... But Khushi proved to be very strong... but heartbroken... :(

Arnav is equally affected, but unwilling to compromise on this... To each their own, I guess...

So, Anjali and Payal r going to be playing Cupid... Interesting... Would love to see how things turn out... Thoda Kuch action waction hoga then, nai???? ;)

Congratulations for FF in the Spotight.

The good thing about your story is that your Khushi didn't leave behind her principles for Arnav. She only wants a relationship which has a chance of becoming permanent. Khushi being the kind of girl she is and the kind of upbringing she had will not accept a live in relationship.

Both of them are suffering but nobody wants to compromise. Hope Payal and Anjali can knock some sense into them.

Marriage was always going to be the bone of contention between Arnav and Khushi , thats a huge part of this story , their basic differences of ideologies.

Khushi has come from a conservative secured world where the society she lives in has a very strong impact on their lives.

Arnav has literally raised himself to be where he is with no one to question him for his choices.

Personally for me marriage is important not to show my love for my husband or his for me but for the respect and honor of my child.Legality of the relationship is important when there are children between the couple.

The entire conversation between Arnav and Khushi like in your usual style was precise and direct and hit the right spots.Simply stated and impactful.

Then of course the kiss again initiated by Khushi...it was like a good bye kiss which neither wanted to let go off willingly.

They have gone their separate ways (supposedly) , we shall see who will take the bait first!!

Anjali has seen her brother and realised the depth of his feelings for Khushi,,, she will now in all earnest gauge Khushi's state of mind to decide her further course of action.

However i wish that she not meddle between the two and let them follow their own paths towards each other.

And to me its not a date gone wrong but actually the base of what the future holds for them since now they will get together knowing what lies ahead !

Wow fabulous update . I know the date did not go as expected but I for one am glad that they laid out all the cards in the open and spoke their hearts out . The best thing though was Arnav did not lose his cool and heard whatever she said very patiently . Though he was very disappointed he considered her feelings first and foremost . He was like when I cannot change my stance he cannot ask Khushi to change hers . That to me is a very rare trait . Felt bad for both of them . They want each other , attracted to each other but are not able to move forward into a relationship coz of their beliefs . But I have not lost hope !!!!!!!!!! Man , Anjali is quite perceptive ain't she :) I felt Khushi's pain and Arnav's helplessness in this situation .

I love, absolutely love how you are keeping everything so mature. Both Khushi and Arnav are being rather rational about a feeling that leaves the best of us nothing more than a slush of mush. And I don't care how it ended, the conversation, the effort they were putting into thinking was brilliantly captured. I see both their points of view - loyalty and commitment are big even when they are not bound by a social institution like marriage but when you can promise both, then why not marriage. Classic tussle and I'm glad that age and inexperience notwithstanding, Khushi was strong enough to stand her ground.

But the mightiest warriors fail when the heart takes over. And this is our favorite couple here. So I can they won't probably succeed (and we will enjoy their failure!)

Great chapter,K. As always and this FF deserves to win as many accolades as it can, And then some :)

Read the whole update in one pace ...breathless...

What a chapter...I should have guessed it but like Arnav one part of mine was in denial...it was really hoping for them to find a middle ground...I really appreciate the way you have made them both stuck to their real nature..it does take a long time to change for the other person...

Gosh i need a tissue now .😭

It was definitely not a disaster. It just ended on a sad note.

What to say clash of beliefs but in the end they both are right from their point of view. The best thing out it is that they both were honest regarding their opinion. They both know where the other person stands but its really sad to see them like this. If only love was simple a thing.

Now that Anjali and Payal going to team i am looking forward to see what Khichadi they make to bring them closer.

For the happy moments, i just have to mention Arnav teasing Khushi. 😆 loved this fun side of his. Nkay and Arnav are cool like a cucumber, which is good. They may not have the same warmth but i guess a start is good.

Congratulations for you achievement. This fic deserves to be in the spotlight .
