Wow brilliant updates, so finally Arnav told Khushi not to leave. The update was so emotional and heartfelt, khushi is too scared to confess as she is scared and hurt to get rejected again. Please continue soon xx

I knw you've updated KKNK but I so wanted to read this chapter first...so here I am.😃
The title itself had my attention riveted.
Payal deserves a tight hug from me...how perceptive of her to give our protagonists some privacy.
I oved the way you built up the entire scene..just fab👏
And the last line...uff the last line...you couldn't have given us a better confession at the moment.😳
Continue soon😃

Part 7 Goodbye?
{Confessions II will come later ;) Odd, I know but still... }

Khushi froze and turned to face him. "What did you say?" she said in shock.

Arnav walked up to her and closed the door behind her. "I said don't go... Don't leave... Please?"

Khushi stared at Arnav, and felt as if her heart will leap out of her chest. "I-I have to go..."

"Why?" he asked.

"Y-you wouldn't understand..." Khushi whispered.

Arnav tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her hair. "Make me..." he plead.

Khushi closed her eyes, resolving that this was not a moment to be weak. "No."

Arnav tried once more. "Don't go..."

"Why? Why shouldn't I? Give me one good reason to stay, and I swear I will..." she asked.

Arnav's throat dried up. He was never good at words. He didn't know what to say... No, he DID know what to say, but didn't know HOW to say it... He, Arnav Singh Raizada, was at a loss of words.

He heard Khushi gave a small dejected sigh. "See? You never ever answer my question... Yes, I know you don't have to. You made that quite clear in the past. But if you don't 'have' to answer my questions, I don't 'have' to listen to you either."

She pushed him away lightly and turned towards the door before pushing it open and whispered "Goodbye Arnavji. Take care."

Arnav watched as she walked away from him and join his family. His eyes met his Di's questioning gaze and he shook his head in negative and Anjali sighed with disappointment. Payal saw the exchange and knew that Khushi hadn't changed her decision. After half an hour of half-hearted chit-chat, Khushi took leave of the family with a "Hope to see you all soon..."

Arnav stood on top of the stairs, watching her leave. She walked without a pause to the main door, and paused at the doorframe and turned her head around, ever so slightly, eyes searching for him. The minute she found him, their eyes met... Both sad, both disappointed... And giving a small smile to Arnav, she walked out.

And at that moment, Arnav felt as if he couldn't breathe. As soon as Khushi walked out, everyone looked at Arnav hesitantly, only to see him storm off to his bedroom, and then a loud bang was heard, making everyone flinch.

"Payalji, I think you should inform your parents..." Anjali said softly.

WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW JIJI! You are married now! Do you know what it's like to have your hopes up and have them crash down again?!...NO Jiji... I can't stick around to hear myself break because this time, I cannot be strong..

Khushi's words rang in Payal's mind and she realized that Payal's love life had been made smooth by her little sister, and Khushi was left to face her emotions alone... Payal would help. Yes, she definitely would but right now, Khushi needed to heal.

So she looked at Anjali with teary eyes. "No Di. Let her go... Maybe she needs sometime..."

Without waiting for anyone's reply, Payal walked away to her room, followed by Akash.

Khushi thanked Happy for his help, and taking her luggage which consisted of just on air-bag, she took an auto to the station.

*NOTE: Delhi to Lucknow by train can take from 7 hours to 33 hours, depending on the train travelled on... So, let us assume Khushi is on the 33 hours express :)

Half an hour later, she was comfortably settled on the blue berth of the train. His words rang in his head... She hoped, somewhere inside her heart that he would come... That he would stop her... She waited with bated breath, looking out. Suddenly, the train jerked, implying that it was about to move and she inhaled deeply. She was expecting too much from him... This wasn't some kind of a MOVIE...! This was life!

She sighed and leaned against the window of the train, with her eyes closed and felt the breeze prick her face. She heard her phone ring but she ignored it... She was expecting it, but she had to wait for half an hour and soon she would be unreachable on phone. She was sitting alone and wondered who would give her company in the next few hours...

She gazed out, with her chin on her right knee and her other leg tucked behind her, at the rapidly moving landscape... Her life was like that...
For someone standing outside the train, it would seem like she was moving on, while actually she was simply sitting...Unmoving.

The train stopped at a station and she saw someone making jalebis on the platform. She might as well buy some... Maybe it would cheer her up. She got off the train and ran off to buy the jalebis. After purchasing a dozen jalebis, she walked back to the train, munching on them slowly, trying to focus completely on the flavor of the jalebi.

She walked back to her seat, and noticed a suitcase on the upper berth. She looked around, to see her new companion was. Was it a man or woman? She hoped it was a woman, or a grandfather types man... She sat down, looking out of the window again, as the train picked up speed as it started again.

Just as she put the second jalebi in her mouth, she heard a familiarly endearing "What the-!"

She looked around, bewildered and saw no one there. She sighed. Now she was halllucinating his voice too... Laad Governor kahinke!

"Why the hell weren't you picking up your phone!"

"Good God! Why do I have to hallucinate now! I am trying to forget and here I am hearing his voice!" she muttered.

She sensed some movement and heard an "Unbelievable!"

She opened her eyes and looked towards the direction of the sound and to her utter amazement, there on the blue berth opposite to her, next to the window sat a smug, smirking, Arnav Singh Raizada.

*sigh... This is so dumb... I can't believe I wrote this =/
