the calmness and dignity with which khushi conducts herself is touching... can empathise with her and the battle she constantly wages between her sense of self-respect and her budding desire for arnav:
Khushi shivered. His fragrance... the warmth of his body... enveloping her... his angry eyes softening, focusing on her trembling lips, promising her till then unknown delights...
arnav loves and cares for khushi but sure has a strange way of showing it... the gesture of putting the coat around her was moving! "Are you really planning to travel across Delhi wearing a wet suit that clings to your body?" his concern about what could happen to her if she went out in her almost see-through clothes is touching, though he really needs a lesson in showing his softer side! beautiful imagery: The fire in his eyes was different from the fire in his voice. her words about vacating his house must have come as a rude shock... he would never have imagined her to turn the tables on him thus... nice to see all his plans crumbling to dust around his feet! She had slipped through his fingers ... and was going farther and farther away from him. She had left RM and him... the job... And now she was vacating the house too? poignant words reflecting arnav's helplessness and despair! however, can't sympathise with him much as he brought it all on himself! for a shrewd guy, how does he believe that blackmailing someone or forcing them to do things will make them melt towards him? his grey cells have truly gone abegging!
Arnav turned his anguished eyes to the image of the culprit in the mirror. loved this turn of phrase, clearly showing arnav accepting he's in the wrong... the gradual manner in which he realises that khushi's payals were missing has been beautifully etched... so, who's he calling at this time of night, khushi or the ever-efficient aman?
you really have a knack for tugging at our heartstrings as is borne out by the whole scene of khushi's emotional turmoil and confusion, especially she weeping into arnav's coat bunched in her hands... that coat symbolises the reason for her pain while, ironically, also being her source of comfort!
