hate it when arnav just walks in and orders khushi around: he just tells her to come work for anjali without bothering to see if she wants to do so or not [of course, he knows that if he gives her a choice, she wouldn't come within a mile of him!], besides believing that money can buy anything... glad to see khushi showing him that self-respect is worth far more than money! really loved reading of her laying bare the unvarnished truth before him about how callously he had treated lavanya... the irony is that all those words could easily reflect khushi's feelings: "So you made her cry too... You pretended to give her what she wanted, and then took it away from her..." ... "What do you want, Mr. Raizada?", asked Khushi, finally. "Do you even know what you want?" were a sweet echo of arnav's words to khushi after he had apologised to payal for being responsible for her wedding being broken off
kudos to you, Smita, for the power of your words that make us feel for arnav, sometimes even against our will: Arnav stared at her. He knew what he wanted. Her in his house, among his family. Filling his house with laughter. Although he couldn't say why or how... There was much he wanted to say, but... He had never been one to make speeches. Or declarations. Words always abandoned him in moments of need... one can almost empathise with him and understand the feeling of helplessness that envelopes him! however, felt like skipping around in joy when khushi calmly gathered up the cash and handed it back to him... in your face, asr!
could cheerfully kick arnav to kingdom come 😡! in his desire to get khushi back by hook or by crook, he doesn't care about the havoc he's wreaking in her and her loved ones' lives!... the thought of khushi without her amma's payals, such an intrinsic part of her, brought a lump to my throat! that was the moment when my foot itched to reach arnav's backside! anyway, when he doesn't hear the usual chanchan accompanying her arrival, hope he realises that the payals are missing from her feet... hope that prompts him to do the right thing and also to realise the enormity of his selfish actions... he's so confident that he'd bring khushi down to her knees but he doesn't know this feisty khushi! eagerly awaiting their confrontation... after that month, if they leave for lucknow, it should serve arnav right... though I am sure he'll have something else in store for her by then!
