hey di..

i dont knw if i m agreeing with u or nt.. bt i wud like to say some very very general thgs..

n i hope i dont offend anyone.. since i dont intend to atall..

1. we r dealing here with a fiction which is soo close to real, tht we all tend to feel tht we knw a person like this.. we hv seen a khushi, we hv wanted to meet an arnav... kaash we hd a frnd like maan.. etc etc... bt pls remember like real ppl, if these characters r soo real.. they wud hv the same complexity as real ppl

2. can anyone of us claim to knw any living soul.. even one fr tht matter completely?? well i can prove it tht if we do.. we r simply fooling ourselves.. humans end up discovering their own selves thruout their lives.. hw can someone else claim to knw them completely whn they themselves dont...

so hw do we claim to knw wht maan or khushi or arnav is all abt???

3. even a doc can only tell a patient tht this thg wud help.. he cant force the solution.. so though we can all claim to b super brainy n practical, n tell maan tht he is wrong.. me included.. still the fact doesnt change tht its his life, its his heart, his love.. so who r we to judge him??

i knw i m tlaking as if he is a real person.. bt to me he is.. all these characters r..

4. khushi n her values... firstly.. pls i wud talk abt khushi's values later.. bt i think we hv all been instilled enuf values not to question someone's upbringing.. i find tht outrt rude.. n fr me khushi being as human as me.. i think its wrong to subject her family to such a comment.

nw abt her values... a person who was ready to die fr a person who literally bought her as a commodity.. a person who is a crowned princess sleeping on the floor, carrying her own luggage, quietly tking in all the insult, including a character questioning, infront of public, not once saying anythg rude, or screaming bak.. not once reacting to her husband's ex sitting in his lap, in his office with his staff rt outside the door... well i dontk nw abt anyone else.. i call tht lady strin n dignified, n nt question her value system

i wud anyday tk lessons frm her in courage n values than doubt her.

5. as of maan... even arnav doesnt doubt his integrity.. then who r we to do tht??? n as of arnav... we hv all loved this character only coz of the intensity he has... so doesnt tht kind of intensity speel insanity alongside in certain situations??? so y r we questioning sthg tht we ourselves hv wanted..

6. dont we all hv our insecurities n flaws??? then y cant khushi n arnav n maan hv some too??? y shud they b burdened with being perfect??

i m nt saying tht everyone of us hs to understand hte characters as percieved by anudi.. bt since we all talk abt them as humans.. i think we all shud atleast give them enuf leverage fr their faults..

the biggest prob is.. tht we all see the story as 31 odd chapters n feel tht its been soo long n they r nt moving.. bt i think wht we r missing out is.. tht its hardly been days on the time line.. so thgs dont change in days.. its been 3 chapters worth of mela.. which wasnt even half a day... so if we think wrt to the timeline.. it might b easier to accept tht time is needed by arnav n khushi n maan to change. they r human afteral...

sry di if i offended anyone.. sry everyone.. bt like always i wud repeat again these r all real ppl to me.. n i m too much in love with them... :)

i would like to respond to the point you make about khushi's character. i understand why she is the way she is. would be horrible to see any person killed and a woman raped. But such incidents should ignite a fire to bring the perpetrators to justice. she may be strong emotionally as the incident with Rane shows but she is not capable of bringing them to justice physically, her family situation is also not strong with the jethwas being hamstrung financially and politically. why doesn't she so to speak "give the horse his head" let the horse run its race. why keep trying to separate from the horse during the battle. being a princess, certain principles are inbred into her. caring for her subjects is one but knowing when and how to deal with a miscreant is another. running scared and disassociating from the situation are not princely traits

her fear comes thru not her fire

Anu can understand your predicament dear.. i loved mirage and loving pursuit now.. all mine best wishes are with you for your stories.. i am slow in reading these days due to some work.. but trying to take some time to read them and do comment in short..

hey... i m sure we dont knw each other.. bt u seem very strongly opinionated against khushi n maan..

can i ask k sthg.. no offense inteded..

hw many negatives hv u seen in ur life??? coz dear.. sthg like tht can put ppl into a broken state fr yrs.. n khushi has not only braved it all... she has a plan devised to fight the evil..

n sometimes.. lying low is a strategy...

i m nt sure if u knw abt strategic fighting methods.. bt lying low, n striking at the rt time.. always works..

as of ehr fears.. God bless u.. coz u dont come across as a person who lost too much.. else u wud hv knwn tht if u lose someone close to u.. u tend to hold on harded to whtever is left.. u r willing to let go of everythg.. even urself if tht means safety of ur cherished ones...

n tht is exactly wht khushi is trying to do

i m nt too much of a fan of her methods.. i too wud rather hv her nt fear... bt tht doesnt mean tht she is wrong.. she is being absolutely human.. trying reading a bit abt human characteristics.. medically, scientifically... n uw ud realise she is absolutely human..

i wud again apologise.. since i might hv come up a little strong too..

Again wrong dear! I beg to differ! Khushi is not running away! she is actually holding on the reigns! She got coronated and she wants to win her battle! She is not only courageous but very classy and smart!

I think you have not read that part where she wants Arnav to wait till the elections!

You know something? Arnav many times offers to take her away and keep her off from all this but she went back to Sheesh Mahal to face it! Kajri is her prime reason for accepting the responsibility!

Bringing people to justice that too in our country? No one can walk up and get someone punished for molestation! Have you not read so many cases pending coz they involve sons of politicians etc!

Khushi wants to change the system and that would be the right path! Not one but all Shikars will be nabbed! she wants her candidates in the elections and there by legislations for women.

A prince dissassociates himself from the horse when the horse stops carrying him and becomes a liability! Arnav is her weakness and she has yet to realise him as the strength( Give her time)

As till now she took all the blows for him! See ...for her she thinks its better she fights alone and her way!

and she is also a wife and a daughter!!!
