Part 60
Its 6:00 a.m. and Suraj gets a call from the hospital that his mother (Also Sum's bestest friend) has been admitted to the hospital cuz she has had a major heart attack..... Suraj rushes out of bed and informs Sum right away.... Everyone goes to the hospital they drop the kids off at Yash and Naina's place.. and Suhas and Vijendra's place and they arrive at the hospital
Suraj runs up to the doc
S: How's my mother????? (in panic)
Doc: She is really serious!!!
Everyone is waiting and is outside....
Suraj's mom is in serious condition and she is trying to talk
Nurse: Please.... dont talk
S's Mom: Is ...... Is Sumitra here???? (Taking deep breaths)
Nurse: Excuse me? Sumitra???
Nurse is confused and goes outside and informs the doc
Nurse: Doctor... she is asking for someone named Sumitra!
Sum: i'm sumitra..
Nurse: Um.. she is asking for you!
Everyone is confused!! Sum rushes in
Sum is looking and crying!
Sum: Look i am here!! Nothing will happen to you!
S's mom: I know..... (talking very very slowly) I know i dont have much time but i need to tell you something
Sum: Nothing is going to happen to you! 😭
Outside.. Dk is staring in space and Disha puts her hand on his shoulders and he touches her hand.. same thing w/ Ved and Suraj!! Anjali and Rohan arrive also
Back into the room
S's mom( Sorry i couldnt think of a name)😕: I never told Suraj this.... and i dont want him to find out......
Sum: About what??
S's mom: The house.. that we are staying in...... the government had given it to me......
Sum: And..
S's mom: (While she is talking Suraj is standing the door and it opens a little and Suraj notices and is listening
S' mom: The problem is...... that Once i die... they are going to take it away
Suraj and Sum are shocked....
Sum: What??
S's mom: And i never told this Suraj.... but i have one last request before leaving...... (taking breaths everytime) I know you have considered his your son... and i want you to take care my son and bahu....
Sum: (closes her eyes)
Suraj is shocked and everyone notices him and goes up to him and they hear everything
S'mom: Please....... i beg you!!
Sum: (Nods her head)
S'mom: But please dont tell Suraj this.. he wont be able to bare the pain
Suraj opens the door and is crying
They are both shocked
S: ma... why didnt you tell me????
S'mom: I am sorry!! Forgive me!!
Suraj: Its okay.. nothing is going to happen to you!!!!!
S'mom: Listen to me... Sumitra will take care of you!!!
Suraj: Please dont say such things!!
All of a sudden S'mom is getting severe and the doctor comes in and check everything... she is sinking and sinking and everyone is watching and like all the kids (Sum's) Are watching their 2nd mom like this!!!!!!😭
All of a sudden... she takes her last breath and dies!!!!!!
Suraj: (Yells) Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone is shocked and seems like thier life has ended!!!!
Suraj: ma.. get up... get up ma!! Nothing could happen to you!!!!!!!
Suraj is going hysterical and Preity is calming him down!!!
Suraj: No..... My mother cant leave me!!😭
everyone is crying... Dk, Ved, and Anjali cant believe it and thier spouses are consoling them!!!!
Next day:
Everyone is sitting by the body........ Sum, Suraj, Dk, Ved, and Anjali are sitting in a line while their spouses are sitting right behind them!!
Suraj is lost...and is looking at his mother!!! They all flashbacks when they were little and how she took care of them like her own kids!!!!!
Its a very sad scene!!😭
Its time to take the body... So Suraj, Dk, Ved, and Rohan pick her body up and they all start walking!!!!!!
They get there and Suraj does the honour.......... He burns the body and falls on his knees Preity runs to him and he cries on her!!!!😭
Suraj cant bare seeing this...... Dk, Ved, and Anjali are crying like crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!
Afterwards..... They take the ashes..... and puts in the.. (you that pot thing.. sorry i dont know the name..)
Suraj sits on the floor and does not say nor react to anything!!!!
Preity is by his side...
Suraj: Please leave me alone for a while!!
Preity: No... i am going to leave you like this!!!
Suraj: Please...
Preity: Your Pain is my pain!!!!!!! I will sit w/ you as long as it takes!!! But i will not leave you!!!!!!!!!
Suraj cries even more😭
Suraj gets still all of a sudden
Preity: what happened?
Suraj: Nothing!
P: tell me!
Suraj: Can you....
P: Yes say it
Suraj: Can you hold me?
Preity comes closer and he just straight out hugs her cuz he really wanted one...
Dk is lying on his bed,, so is Ved and they have more flashbacks about their childhood.. etc.....
Next day:
No one has eaten anything (except Sum and Dhruv cuz they need to be health consicious) so Disha whips up something for everyone else...... Preity goes in w/ a plate of food
Preity: Here.. you havent eaten anything!! Eat!
Suraj: I am not hungry!
P: Please!! You will fall sick!!
Suraj: No.. you eat!!
P: I am not going to eat until you eat!!
Suraj: I dont have the strength to eat!!
P: I will feed you if i have to!!
Preity gets some food and makes him open his mouth and he feeds him!!
Suraj: Thats it!!
P: No... this is not enough... i will wait here until you finish!!
He eats it all... but she fed him all the way!!
Disha takes food for Dk
Dk is lying on the bed and is crying!
Disha: Here Dk... eat!
Dk: Have you eaten?
Disha: No... but dont worry about me!! You eat!
Dk: Why didnt you eat anything??
Disha: How could i? You havent had anything for 24 hours!!!
Dk: (Cries even more)😭 Look you eat then i will eat later!
Disha: No i dont trust you!
She takes food in her hands and feeds him!!
Dk: You know this is how chotti mom fed us... when me and Ved use to go to their house.. she would make us a sit in a line and fed each one of us!! and now...
Disha's eyes water!
Dk: You eat now!!
Disha: I will but 1st you!! Come on open up!
Dk refuses and he feeds her!!
Suraj who hasnt slept all night... finally went to sleep in Preity's lap!... Preity is carressing his head!!!!
Ved is resting thinking about how... Ved fell down and It was suraj's mom made his wound all better!!!
Sia: WHat are you thinking about?
Ved: Chotti mom!
Sia: Who isnt?? How was she?
Ved; SHe was the best!! Her and Badi mom are the best people in this world!! You can go to either of them and they made your day!! Chotti mom always had a smile on her face!! Never let anything get to her!!!!!!!
Ved starts getting emotional and starts crying!!! and so does Sia!
Suraj is having flashbacks of his mom and the last things she said... etc.... and Suraj is tossing his head and is sweating...... and gets up quickly yelling "MA"
Preity: WHat happened??
Suraj: Ma.....
P: (Closes her eyes)
Suraj gets up and goes out!
Sum: How are you feeling??
Suraj: A little better!!
Dk and Ved are sitting are still wearing white... well everyone is
Suraj: Look i came to talk to you about what Ma said...
Sum: But..
Suraj: I dont want to be a burden on you! and i know that you promised Ma.. but we really cant stay here!! It wouldnt feel right!
Sum: What are you saying???? I have never loved you less then Sunny, Ved, or Anjali..... You arent like my son! You are my son!!!!
Suraj gets all teary!
Dk: Yes....just because we are not related by blood that doesnt mean you dont belong with us!! You are our own.. and people who are our own we dont let them go away from us!
Suraj: Yeah.. but there are so many people in this house.. and the kids and adding 2 more it will cause a big Havoc!
Sum: Look... now after you come... i will have my whole family with me!!!!!!! My three sons with me!! w/ my three bahus!!!
Suraj doesnt know what to say!
Sum: You will stay here with us and this is my orders!! and i know that you will not say no to this mother of yours!!
Suraj hugs Sum.... and DK and Ved are thrilled to pieces that they are all staying together!!
( I liked this chracter so much.. i didnt want to let him go.. i kno i am crazy 😕😆😆)
Couple of Days later: Things start getting back to normal and Preity and Suraj brings their things in!!!
All three rooms are huge just to let you guys know!! but DK's room is the biggest from all!!! 😃😛
Preity and Suraj start settling in.. like they already havent.... and they get use to it now cuz they have to live in it!!
Theres a picture of all the kids w/ S's mom and Dk makes copies and elaminates them and he puts them in everyones room and also... each kid has a picture w/ her just by herself and they also put that up!!!
Dk is looking very close at it.. w/ him and S's mom!
Disha: What are you looking at?
Dk: This picture means the world to me!!!
Disha looks at it like "Awww how cute"
Disha: YOu know when you were little you were so cute!!! Now what happened? 😆😆
Dk: What??? I still look good!
Disha: Well.... i mean you were adorable... and now...
Dk: And now???
Disha: Nothing forget it!!
Dk: No tell me!!!
Disha: No its okay!!!
Dk: Disha...
Disha: Nope!! I am not going to tell you!!
Disha runs off and Dk looks at her!
Dk: Crazy!!!
Khushi comes in
K: Daddy.. who is she?
Dk: My 2nd mom!!
K: 2nd mom?
Dk: Yes... i love her very much!
K: So is she my grandmother to?
Dk: Yes!!!
K looks at her picture!
Khushi leaves and Dk is still staring at it... he cant leave his eyes off from it!
Disha: Dk.... Dk.... Dk...
Calls him so many times
Disha: (goes up up him) Dk..
Dk: Huh.. what?
Disha; Where are you lost?
Dk: no where!
Disha: Come on lets go! (for dinner)
Dk: Okay i will come! You go!
Disha: No.. until you dont come...i will wait here!
Dk: Disha....
Disha: Dk....!
Dk finally leaves the room and they all have dinner
Suraj is thinking about what he should do about his buisness... Like Dk... he has build an empire....... So he talks to Dk and Ved about it... so they combine their buisnesses together so all of them work together!!!! They all have an equal share in it!!
Next Morning
All three of them go to work!!
Disha is in her room and is looking at the pictures.... (even her) and she is thinking about why Dk looks at it so much!! She notices how much love S's mom had for them!!!!
There's a smaller version of the picture of Dk and chotti mom on the table.... in a glass frame... Disha is looking for something on that table but cant find it... she opens the drawers but cant find it and she closes it hard and the picture falls and the whole frame... breaks...... Disha is shocked
Disha: What have i done? Dk is not going to forgive me!!!!!!
She quickly cleans everything up and is making sure that nothin is left.... and she takes that picture in her hand... and Dk walks in and sees that the picture is not in the frame and he looks and Disha........ and Disha is scared!!!!😕
Dk: How come this picture is not in that frame? What were you going to do w/ the picture?
Disha: (all scared) I was......was....i was um.....
Dk: Whats wrong???
Disha: Nothing
Dk: Then why do you have that picture in ur hand?
Disha: I was looking for something and the picture frame fell and it broke into several pieces......... (While she was saying that she was stuttering)
Dk: Disha.. how could you do that?
Disha: I know!! I wasnt looking... i am sorry... i am really very sorry!! and i know you are mad at me.... and i deserve it!!!
Disha starts crying!
Dk: I am not going to get mad at you!
Disha: (Shocked) Your not?
Dk: No... you told me what happened and that all that matters!
Disha gets happy!
Dk: I would never get mad at you because i cant!! Never!!
Disha is relieved....
Disha: What about the frame?
Dk: I could always get another one..... as long as i dont lose the picture.. i dont care!
Disha hugs him!
Its late in the night and everyone is sound asleep........ Neha is in her crib... So is Rohit..... Mr. Dev again cant seem to sleep... He goes into Dk's room but sees that they are sleeping very close and theres no space for him!😕
He comes back out... Preity is in the kitchen getting a glass of water for herself..and is making some noise and Dev gets all scared not knowing what it is.... and he doesnt know where to go... and puts his blankie over his head.......
Preity comes out of the kitchen and sees him... she goes by him and takes off the blankie from his head and Dev has his face covered...
Preity: Dev.. should'nt you be sleeping in your own bed???
Preity notices he is very very scared and is shaking... So she picks him up and they sit on the couch.. he lays down on her lap and he falls asleep.... Suraj is tossing and turning and opens his eyes and P isnt there so he gets up so see where she is.. and finds her on the couch w/ Dev..... Both of them are fast asleep... He takes a bigger blanket and covers both of them!!!!!!! and smiles!😃
