Chapter 24 -Together

She had enough of the tantrums that Akdu Sadu Rawte was throwing , she was done looking and rejecting girls for him and then even arranging there meeting with those dimwits which actually turned out to be disaster as all of them were ready to throw themselves at him .

Nothing mattered to the Arjun for he was enjoying their attention and even flirting with them which had actually shocked her to an extent that she had to be literally shaken by a laughing Shree who instead of helping her was laughing at her. She had bought in Shree so that he could help her to chuck those bimbos but alas Shreekant Sen was busy in setting things for himself only

"So her love and her friends had both lost their minds and she could do nothing at it "

"Riya , this is the last one for the day "

"Last one really, you sound disappointed Shree "

She stomped her feet and went towards the car leaving a shocked Shree and a smirking Arjun behind. Once she was out of there view the men couldn't hold there laughter and stopped only when they heard the honking.

Unaware of the future the three of them moved towards there next destination.

They were welcomed by blazing music and slowly made their way towards the pool side where they were supposed to meet Niharika Malhotra.

"Riya , you guys go and I will take it from here "

They didn't leave but were standing at a distance as Riya ordereds Shree to observe Arjun.

"Riya , lets leave na . I am really Hungry "

"Shree , Chotu ka asar ho gaya hai tujh par . Tum jao , I need to see that what's this Rawte upto"

What the hell is wrong with people she thought, the stupid bimbo was hardly wearing anything and the way she was walking towards Arjun irked her. Her eyes never leaving both of them she monitored each and every move of that girl and more than her she was waiting for Arjun reaction but of course Mr Rawte was enjoying her attentions.

She stopped herself from intervening but when the female kept her am on his thigh, and also when she her nail was moving on up and down on those biceps..That was all she could take and but when that hand moved towards his face ..

The anger, frustration and the torture that Rawte had made her undergo finally took its toll on her and one punch from her and that bimbo was on the ground handling a broken nose. She would have given another punch but Arjun stopped her.

"Riya , what wrong with you "

"What's wrong with me, what the hell is wrong with you, since when did you become so desparate ACP Rawte "

"Damn you Riya, I took me hell lot of persuasion to meet her, U foolish lady she was doing what she was supposed to do "

He saw that people still hadn't noticed them and he dragged a fuming Riya to the SUV muttering a short apology to the women who was now laughing at his plight. Once out of everyone sight he turned towards her to demand an answer but Riya and that point of time looked like his female version .

"Ms Dutta , Never ever interfere in my ways ever again or you can go back to the research desk "

"Get in the car , I'll drop you "

The journey was silent and every time Riya had tried to say something he had shut her up with a glare. He didn't even wait for her to get into the house and drove away in great speed.

Maybe she had lost him forever and that night she didn't cry for she was one who made mess of everything.

PRESENT

It had been ages she had entered the Rawte Mansion as Arjun preferred the flat over the big house. The memories of the mansion used to haunt him and he always made an attempt to stay away for the majority of his time. The visit to the house was reserved for some Special occasions like festivals, office parties etc.

She knocked and entered the study where Dadi was present with a bunch of papers in her hands and a frown on her forehead. She saw her motioned her to sit and herself went to stand near the windows, a habit which Arjun had imbibed from her.

"These papers were delivered 2 days back but you were held up with Arjun and I didn't want to disturb you "

"These papers?"

"Divorce papers Riya , Arjun had signed them before leaving for the mission "

She held the papers in her hand and read through them carefully, everything was perfectly planned the same way that he had planned her life.

"Will you take these papers Riya "

She hesitated for a moment before saying "Yes "

"I need to wait till Shree wedding dadi and then I will make everyone aware of my decision "

"Riya ,, just remember I am still you dadi "

She couldn't stop the moisture that had gathered in her eyes and went forward to embrace the women who had she come to admire and love. Even in this condition did she not choose any sides but let them take their own decisions - Fall and Learn. It was what she had said always and no matter what happens to Arjun and her relation ... Naina Rawte would always be her Dadi

With that last thought she walked away from the house only to come across their wedding picture - How happy were they if only there happiness wasn't created by the web of lies and manipulations

PAST

She woke up late with a severe headache and a grumbling stomach, all thanks to Arjun which reminded her of the pain again. She had no idea how will she face him again as he didn't even bother to even acknowledge her presence yesterday.

She finally dragged herself to the living room only to be shocked..

"Yeh wala wahan laga do "

"Red and white drapes chaiye "

"Caterers ko phone kar diya "

"Card details bhi finalise karni hai "

Amidst of all this noise she had managed to locate her parents who were busy trying to manage the various vendors ...

"Dad, kya ho raha hai"

"Oh Riya , we are so happy but itni jaldi bhi kya thi , 3 din main shaadi "

She pinched herself again just to confirm if it was a bad dream but no she was standing in her house only amidst the chaos and a wedding preparation.

Her cell beeped with a message from Arjun

"Congratulations for you marriage "

Tears trickled down her face as she headed towards her parents to make them understand or probably understand herself what was going on

"Don't worry Mr Dutta , humne sirf baraat lani hai and Riya ko le jana hai "

Her cell beeped with a message again from Arjun

"Congratulations on our marriage "

Her gaze alternated between the message and the lady in front of her who turned and revealed herself to be Mrs Naina Rawte

"Damn You Arjun Suryakant Rawte "

She was so sure to kill Arjun for this when her cell beeped again

"My Dearest Sherni ,

Hold on to your horses and to your thoughts, I am sure that you want to kill me but just remember one thing that I am currently on a thin thread of control which will snap seeing or talking with you.

Come at your risk Riya, for I am sure that I will take you then and there and you would have no escape route also "

She ran past everyone to hide herself in the confines of her room. Gathering all the courage she typed back

His cell beeped and a smile made across his face reading her message. The last 12 hrs had been a roller coaster for him for he had to try to make her Dadi and his boss agrees for their marriage and also keeping it all secret from Riya. These 3 days were also too long to bear but they had kept the condition that all rituals need to be followed.

Just three more days and she would be his - Forever

That is how the conversation continued between the two love birds, who would have thought that they would have ended up together.
