So many things happening at the same time. Beautifully written dear Lin.

The bonding between the Mistress & Maid has grown by leaps and bounds.

One end a father confronts to keep his daughter save, not just her but Lady Anjali too..

While on the other end its the fight of emotions. SILENT PAIN ..Between the friends. Other side Lord Arnav fighting his emotions too.

And dude, you killed it with JayPrakash flirting with the girl. Lol why does he call her with all the vegetable names ? LOL

Love ya! It was really a hilarious conversation between them. J.P is too fast and furious haha.

So I read the last chapter again and how cute is the flirting... I would have never expected the girl to cave in. Dono taraf aag lagi hai!

Now see who would have thought there could be a whole update about the caretakers of the house hold. With all the information just set in one single update.

Lin this why you rock! You take such small characters like Rahim chacha and Prakash brothers make them a part of your story!

I haven't had the chance to appreciate the magic you created. It was beautifully written.I was so lost in the update. I couldn't compare them both even if my life depended on it. They both had their own standards that no one can match. * Standing ovation for that scene*

I was baffled when I read that Arnav actualy reacted the way he did, voicing his anger, never expected that. I thought he would walk off like he did in the show but then I forgot this the lordy lord ofcourse he will blame his confusion and his fault at others. Or rather, blame khushi.

Waiting to see what happens with Master Sashi.

P.S-

Dear Lin, I am confused about one thing, if Arnav knew that Shyam was cursed, why would he still get Anjali married to him and does Anjali know about this like she knows the secret of her chote?

Now, my dear friends... though I can see a pattern here and the "Rose bush" playing a significant role in the tale, im unable to identify "what?" or "whom?" the "rose bush" symbolise... Im eager to know the thoughts of my fellow readers regarding this "rose bush"... Kindly share your thoughts...

I am so happy to know that i knew you very well by now... yes, when ever i come across to word 'Rose Bush'.. at instant thought comes that one day dear Hoopoe will come with this topic to discuss in open forum...

But i am so sorry, i am at same place as you are, have the above data only and no path to go further...

Just one feeling that, soul of lordy's mother lives there... also, the famous ROSE BUSH could be the witness of why, when and by whom lordy get cursed...!!

Just imagine, d situation of rose bush... it has all the answers but it can not speak. It is the one who has witness of all emotions that each character going through, but it can not share it with relavent charecter... I am sure in future if there would be any misunderstaning ROSE BUSH will be the one who can clarify it, but alas...

And yes, thanks for confirming my assumption... Even i related the rose bush to some sort of motherly figure... but i think you put it in a much better way... "His mother's soul!!!"...I admit i was confused earlier because both "the rose bush" and "the hooded lady" seems to have similar intentions... But now i can understand the difference...

The rose bush... concerned mainly for her son... hence her presence mainly highlighted in his life... whereas the hooded lady... equally concerned for both of her favourite children, Arnav and Khushi... and hence her presence equally felt in both of their lives... either in person or through their dreams... It makes perfect sense now...

His mother's soul which never left the rose bush after the brutal incident that took place ten years ago... Her soul silently witnessing her son's anguish and turmoil after her unexpected demise... unable to console him or soothe him from his pain. Helplessly standing with a heavy heart witnessing her son growing up into a cold beast with a wounded heart ... anticipating the arrival of the "Green heart" in her son's life... guiding khushi to enter his life and reach him by tempting her with her beautiful roses... smiling contently once the healer finally lands up in his son's arms... PERFECT... all pieces of the puzzle fits perfectly... Thanks for the guidance.

And, about the pattern...Its just that, a vulnerable innocent soul, breaking down in front of the rose bush and pouring his/her heart out to be soothed in the compassionate hands of mother nature... earning the strength (a strong will with a cold heart) to face the world and protect his/her family members from the hands of the cruel world... the gradual transformation of a vulnerable innocent soul to a stubborn, insusceptible one...

First, we witnessed these things happening in the life of Lord Arnav owing to the events of that fateful night, ten years back. Tonight, again we are witnessing similar events happening with Khushi. Her delicate heart hurt by the thoughtless words of Lord Arnav... his cruel words hurting her self esteem... his blatant accusation shaking her belief that the emotional bond they shared were mutual... and, adding to her already distressed state, the sad state of her father... So i was just wondering, whether the history will repeat again? Whether she'll also see a gradual transformation in her emotional state... owing to her nature, we cant expect her to become a callous creature like Arnav... but can we expect a more mature and composed khushi?... or will tonight events will be a turning point where the beast in Lord Arnav slowly starts to fade away?... Will the callousness in Lord Arnav slowly mellows down after witnessing khushi's tears and will it stir the warmth and compassion back in his cold heart???...

P.S. Lordy's curse can save him?????!!!... I never thought in that line... But your random thoughts are always valuable. So will note that point... But as for now, Shashiji's current state is due to shock after witnessing Gen's transformation... As a counter shock, if he is made to witness Lordy's transformation, there are high chances of him coming out of his petrified state...😉

what do you think this line tells you?...

does it express about the event that passed by...like the damage caused due the lordy's action...

or does this signify what is about to happen?...like the further decision of the man due to the events??..that his resolve n its consequences have confused him or made him change his attitude somewhere?

hello Aquiline !

I've read last two chapters and got shocked at the end ... you started the update with two completely strange persons... JP flirting and girls answers were really cute ... you wrote their convo beautifully ...

and u gave a heart attack at the end ...is Master Shashi really dead or he is in coma or shock after watching Generals transformation. i have no words ...

i liked Lavanya's character's in drama and but they didnt show it as well as your are showing in your storty ... its heart touching... and i also like the way both girls took their sorrows out in front of each other ... seems like best friends..

yes i am very bad with symbolism but I've read some comments about the red bush ( A_Soul , hoopoe .) they seems very interesting ... and connected with yr plot...

please make an update soon ... and break this suspense... we are waiting ...

And your question is very clever...

As of now, I suppose that the statement reflects his current perplexed state of mind... his strong emotions towards khushi slowly starting to shake his resolve to hide behind his cold mask... his rational mind fluctuating between the warm emotions of his heart and his cold resolve to keep away from these vulnerable emotions... a war going on between his heart and mind...

He is still in dark... and its not easy for him to come out of the self-created darkness in him as a shield to cover up his insecurities and fear... to protect himself and his family from getting hurt from the harsh reality of the cruel world... Many years back, he took the resolution to stay "as strong as rock" and "as hard as rock" with no place for tender emotions in his heart for the sole purpose of protecting and safe-guarding his di and family from the outside world...

Still he is the same hard rock... cold and unaffected...but somehow, khushi was able to create a vibration within the hard rock... the "innocent love" from the "Green heart" has begun resonating in the hard rock making the hard rock feel uncomfortable and bewildered of his current not-so-in-control state...

Currently, his heart is burdened with the weight of the war between his conscience and rational mind... His conscience questioning him for behaving rudely towards khushi... and his rational mind questioning him about him wavering in his resolve in a spur of momentary weakness...
