CHAPTER 3:

Once Arnav reached the gala and parked his car, he went to get Khushi's door and offered his arm for her to grab.

"Arnav Singh Raizada at your service Mam!"

"Ooohhh!!! Being gentleman I see! Great going! But don't forget you are supposed to be my boyfriend and not my waiter or valet!"

Khushi burst in giggles with her own jokes and Arnav was fuming.

"Fine am going home! I don't wanna act like your boyfriend." Deep inside he thought I wanna BE your boyfriend and not act like one.

He was still puzzled as to from where that feeling came from and since when did he want to date his best friend.

Suddenly Khushi jerked him.

"Arnav where are you lost? You are only supposed to get lost in my eyes tonight!" Khushi could stop herself from harassing Arnav and burst out in deep laughter.

"alright enough joking around now! Let's get in and get our act started."

With that Khushi took Arnav's arms and they both moved towards the entrance.

As soon as they entered the hall, all eyes were on the hot and sizzling couple who have just entered and one could truly feel the electric flowing between the two.

"Arnav what are all these people looking at?"

"It must be me. I am too handsome for people not to look at." He winked at Khushi and that earned him a light blow in the stomach.

"Right! I guess the guys also are drooling over you now! You did not tell me since when you became gay!"

"Khushi what the hell?!" Arnav knew the guys were eyeing Khushi and that angered him like usual.

However their bittering and fight were cut short by the arrival of their families.

"Khushi and Arnav! Thank god you guys came already. People were getting impatient waiting for you."

"Mom, Aunty we have something to tell you."

"All that can wait darling. Right now there is someone I want you to meet!"

Khushi tried again, but in vain!

"Khushi, this is Varun, the guy I told you about!"

"Mom really, I need to.."

she was abruptly cut short by her Mom and she awarded her a death glare.

"we can talk later Khushi. Right now talk to Varun and get to know him better."

Khushi turned towards Arnav demanding for help and Arnav only gave her an amused look, as if challenging her how to get out of this mess!

"ummm… Varun come I'll introduce you to someone. Varun this is ASR, the one and only!" She said thus hoping to impress and maybe even scare him away, but the result was the total opposite!

"OMG! You are THE ASR!!! I really admire you and your work"

This only added fuel to an egocentric and self-esteemed Arnav and the two got into deep conversation, ignorant of the turmoil and anger arising within Khushi. She just wanted to bury Arnav alive and right now! Nothing was going as planned and all her efforts were being wasted. She decided that it was time for plan B now!

"Varun would you mind dancing with me?" she battled her eyelashes sexily towards Varun, making him smirk and taking her hand graciously in his and making their way towards the dancefloor!

That girl is definitely upto something, thought Arnav with a smirk. He knew that Varun is gonna remember Khushi forever after she is done with him! He has seen her work before and everytime he is baffled!

Khushi held herself dangerously close to VArun and they started dancing sensuously. Seeing this, Khushi's mom was belated thinking that maybe finally her daughter was liking a guy while on the other side a storm was brewing in the form of Arnav.

What the hell is she doing? She was supposed to be here with me tonight and here she is dancing with that Varun chap!

Without thinking twice, Arnav just went with the flow and with a few long strides reached to Khushi and Varun.

He tapped Varun's shoulder so as to get his attention.

"Varun would you mind me dancing with Khushi now? Actually you see Khushi came with me tonight and all the while we talked I forgot to tell you something important."

Still holding onto Khushi, Varun said " Yeah and what is that?"

"First I think Khushi you should come here" Khushi silently took in Arnav's hand and she was happy that her plan was working. She was even doing a victory dance in her head.

"Khushi is my girlfriend so I think I only have the right to dance with her and hold her." Arnav's tone was menacingly cold and anyone would be dead scared if they were to face this Arnav. Even Khushi was shocked.

"Am sorry man! I didn't know. But why is Khushi's family still looking for a groom for her?" Varun stuttered!

"that is none of your business and now if you'll excuse us…"

the onlookers were unaware of everything that was going on and the most shocked persons were Arnav and Khushi's family when they saw the two dancing!

ASR never danced with anybody and now he was dancing with Khushi as if he was holding into his most precious belonging!
