CHAPTER 4:

As soon as Arnav held Khushi, the song teri-meri started and both were lost in each other completely. Khushi was lost in Arnav's deep caramel coloured eyes, which conveyed so many emotions! She had never before noticed the depth in his eyes and hence both were lost and moved to the song and each other's rhythm. They were totally unaware of the surroundings and were lost in each other.

What the family saw was a whole different matter! They couldn't belive that their children were dancing so closely to each other! It was one of their dreams for these two to be together but were currently shocked!

Soon the song ended which broke Arnav's and Khushi's trance and were shocked to hear clapping and cheering! It was only then they realized that from a long time now, everyone had stopped dancing and they were all eyeing them only. Upon this realization, Khushi blushed and ran away while Arnav, with his trademark smirk made his way towards his family and Khushi who were clearly shocked at what they just saw.

Garima: will you two care to enlighten us? It seems we missed out an episode here!

It seemed that Khushi's mom said what was on everybody's mind and they were all looking expectantly at Khushi and Arnav who were now standing next to each other, but clearly avoiding each other's eyes.

Khushi: that's what I was trying to tell you when we first arrived. But you wouldn't listened a word and I had to play along with Varun so as to make Arnav react! He can be so stubborn at times!

Arnav: what are you saying? I was not jealous of Varun!

Khushi: when on earth did I say you were jealous? Oh wait a minute! Arnav! You were jealous of VARUN! OMG!

And so they went on to fight again as usual, making their family members to roll their eyes!

Devika: Arnav! Khushi! Stop it! Weren't you supposed to tell us something?

Arnav: Khushi and I are dating!

Khushi: How could say it so directly? Couldn't you have played along a bit so that they would have been more shocked!

Arnav: Am sorry if am not as filmy as you and more direct than you!

However, their fight stopped here itself as they were soon hugged by their family members, once they had digested the news! Their happiness knew no bound and the congrats went on for a while.

Once everyone calmed down, it was Arnav and Khushi's turn to get the shock!

Devika: so when do you want us to organise the wedding?

Arnav and Khushi: WHAT???

Arnav: ok mom! We are not getting married so soon. Give us some time. When we will be ready, we will tell you. Now, if you'll excuse us.

With that Arnav rushed Khushi outside near the poolside, not paying heed to Khushi's words.

Khushi: why did you rush us out? They were planning our wedding! What will happen if they go ahead with it?

Arnav: shhh Khushi! Nothing will happen! That's why I rushed outside so that they don't question us anymore and stop planning our wedding! Mom will not go against me. As it is, it was your plan! Now deal with it! I don't mind marrying you!

Arnav said with a smirk.

Khushi: Oh please! I can't imagine spending my life with you! Stop being ridiculous! We will spend our time fighting!

Arnav became serious at once, kinda offended by Khushi's words and without thinking rushed to Khushi till their face was only one 1 inch away from each other.

Arnav: what's wrong with me that you can't marry me? He said looking straight in khuhsi's eyes!

Khushi shuddered at Arnav's tone.

Khushi: you know I was only joking Arnav. You are perfect and anyone will be lucky to have you.

Once again both were lost in each others eyes and unknowingly, Arnav started to move forwards towards Khushi, while Khushi moved backwards. This went on till Khushi's back hit the wall. Her eyes were glued to Arnav and Arnav imprisoned Khushi with his two hands, one on each side of an expecting, and shuddering Khushi.

Arnav lowered his face near hers and was looking at her luscious lips and soon positioned his lips just near Khushi's. Khushi could feel Arnav's breath on her and closed her eyes, expecting Arnav to close the gap next. She was waiting for it impatiently. Arnav lowered his lips and their lips met and caused an explosion of feelings in each others.

At first Khushi was reticent and Arnav licked and sucked her lips and finally bit her lip so as to gain full access to her mouth. This time, Khushi let go and they both shared the most passionate and intense kiss ever. After some time they moved apart due to lack of breath and suddenly, Khushi came back to herself and couldn't believe what just happened! She was shocked!

How could she lose herself to her best friend like this! She has felt anything like this before. What was this new feeling? why was she so lost in him that she couldn't control herself from kissing him? And what about him? Why did he kiss me like this?

With that she touched her lips with trembling hands, and smirked upon feeling it all swollen….

NOTE: I am really sorry of the kiss part is not really well written... this is the first time i am writing something like this.

CHAPTER 5:

KHUSHI ST: This kiss was just a mistake. Me and Arnav are just friends and I have never thought about him like this. We should clear this misunderstanding. Arnav also must have just gone with the moment and hence kissed me. Yeah that must be the best conclusion! I AM SOOO NOT IN LOVE WITH MY BEST FRIEND. I mean that is just not plausible and yes maybe a few times I did dream about him and felt him around him and that kiss was just WOW but that can't be LOVE!

ARNAV ST: WOW! That must have been the best kiss EVER!!!! I have kissed so many girls but none of them felt like this. This was definitely special and different. Something was definitely off, with my bizarre and hot thoughts about Khushi earlier and now this mind blowing kiss and not to forget all the numerous times that I get lost in her….. OMG! I am IN LOVE WITH MY BEST FRIEND! I should tell her…. What's the use of keeping it to myself? Maybe she too feels the same for me.. I am the guy so it's only fair for me to propose first.

Making up his mind, Arnav was just about to tell to Khushi his feelings and what he just realized when suddenly Khushi spoke.

Khushi: Look Arnav, I am sorry. I don't know what just happened. I didn't mean to kiss you. I mean you are just my best friend, not that you are not a good kisser but I don't see like anything else than my best friend with whom I share everything! What am saying is that I don't have any feeling other that a best friend's love for you. Let's just forget what just happened and pretend like this kiss never happened and just stay like we were, the best friends in the world. Ok, then I'll see ya later! We've been away for too long now.

To say that Arnav was shocked would be an understatement. He was out of words. he just gave Khushi a meek smile just to reassure her and nodded weakly. As soon as Khushi saw Arnav's nod she just rushed away from there to join her parents.

ARNAV ST: what the hell just happened?? Just when I was about to express my love for her, she just claimed that we were just friends. We are so not just friends and am gonna prove it to her! I am gonna make her realize her love for me and that too soon. She herself is gonna tell me that she loves me now. She is just trying to hide her feelings, but till when will she do so? That will be my own goal now!

With that Arnav gave one deadly smirk and made his way to his family.

Once the party was over, Khushi was back to her cheerful self and just to continue their 'act' of boyfriend, girlfriend, Arnav proposed to drop off Khushi and Khushi gladly accepted.

Their drive back home together was a very silent one, with only Khushi trying to strike a conversation once a while just to get a mere response or nod from Arnav. Khushi could sense that something was wrong with Arnav, but what? He has never been so cold to her before.

Arnav: here we are Khushi. We have reached your house.

Khushi: Arnav are you ok? Is everything right?

Arnav: Yes everything's ok! Why?

Khushi: Oh nothing! It's just that you were awfully quiet tonight during the ride that's why.

Arnav: It's just that I am really tired and all….

Khushi: Ok then. I'll see you tomorrow. Take care. Bye!

Arnav: Bye.

With that Khushi hopped out of the SUV and waved Arnav bye before she got in her house deep in thoughts. Something was definitely off with Arnav. His behavior was weird.

Arnav zoomed his SUV from Khushi's house back to RM.

Devika: Arnav you are back?

Arnav: Yeah Mom! I just dropped Khushi. Am tired so please excuse me.

With that Arnav rushed to his room and closed his door properly and put his plan into action!

Arnav: Hello Aman! Could you please get a flight ticket from USA for me?

That was the first step of Arnav's plan. He smirked as he could already see Khushi's reaction and behavior from now itself.
