Chp 39 : Half of the way
Everyone say that love hurts, but that's not true . loneliss hurts .Rejection hurts . Losing someone hurts .Everyone confuse these things with love , but in reality love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain and makes us feel wondful again
Flashbacks
Yash wake that morning again happy with fact that Aarti is in his arms, sleeping peacfuly , he wake her up gentely
" Aarti its morning wake up "
Aarti open her eyes and say " Good morning Yash "
Yash smile and say "Good morning Aarti "
After there morning routine they went down for breakfast, again Yash enjoy the laugh that Aarti create among his family, after breakfast he look at her and say " I will send a car the pick from at lunch's time , today you gonna have lunch with me "
Aarti say teasing him " Let me see first if im free for lunch today "
Yash roll his eyes and say " Seriously ? "
Aarti laugh and say " im realy a busy person " she then think for seconds and add " ok i think i can have lunch with you today , its your lucky day im free "
Yash say with sarcasm " Thank for giving me some of your precious time "
Aarti smile and say " You are welcome "
Then everybody blast laughing the family member were watching them on the table , then Yash and Prateek went for work
G3 then think " They are so adorable god bless them "
Aarti spend the rest of that morning with G3 ma , talking and trying to knit
Then the servent come and inform her that the limo come to pick her up , Aarti then went she was surpised when she find that Yash add on the limo a place for snack like she asked before, and he has put her favorite chips too, she was happy and think " Yash realy remember everything i told him "
The limo stop infont of a hotel , then some servent of the hotel open the door for her and say " Ms Sindhia , Mr Yash is waiting for you come you please follow me "
Aarti smile and follow him ,till they reach a restaurant , when Yash while was waiting , he was drinking water when he saw her , smiling at him looking amezing on a blue saree , Yash put the glass down get up and hold the chair for her saying " Hi Aarti "
Aarti smile " Hello ,we are having lunch on a hotel restaurant , "
Yash " I have some meetings her so i decide to bring you here, after lunch i only have one last meeting , if you can wait for me we can go at home together "
Aarti " Great, lets see what they have here " she say that and tame the menu
Yash smile she was confuse she look at him and say " All the name of food here look great , im confuse "
Yash " They are famous for this one " he went next to her and lean to show her the plate name , Aarti become all red , when he come next her , she then say closing teh menu ," i will take it , you can be back to your seat "
Yash smile a naughty smile , he was aware of his effect on her and enjoying her blushing
Aarti keep talking and talking during lunch , Yash was just silence and enjoying her talk, time the time he laugh or smile, he was thinking " It always enjoy my time when she is around me, she always has something to said "
He then look at her and say " Aarti , can we be friend after our divorce ? i mean after the end of the 3 months can we still good friends ? "
Aarti smile and say " I cannot promise you enything Yash "
Yash a little angry " Why ? im just asking for your friendship "
Aarti " Let just say that after the end of our marriage i will have to do something very imprtant that may keep me busy , and being on touch with you will be impossibole "
Yash " What important thing ? "
Aarti " Sorry i cannot tell you, lets order dessert Yash "
Yash then hit the table on anger and say with rage " Damn it Aarti tell me what is it ? "
everyone on the restaurant look at them
Aarti say with her cool tone " Yash calm down people are looking at us lets order dessert "
Yash get up saying " How can you be this cold ? "
Aarti smile andsay " Why are you this angry Yash ? "
Yash then was shocked too and he think " Why im angry ? why the fact that she refuse to keep contact with me after 3 months bother me i should be happy about it, whats wrong with me ? "
He look at her and said with a cold tone " I have a meeting on 10 minute i have to go "
He just start to walk away looking all angry and Aarti get up and follow him saying "Yash stop, Yash come on don't act like a kid "
Yash just keep walking and Aarti follow him , on the hall while Aarti was runing after Yash , she heat someone and almost fall with that man grap her
Yash stop when he hear her saying " Sorry i was on hurry i didn't mean to hit you "
Yash turn to find a man help graping Aarti's hand
Thant man look at Aarti with a smile and say " Its ok Aarti , you don't remember me "
Aarti left his eyes and look at the man she bump and say
" Prashant hi , how are you ? "
Yash then rush to Aarti litary pull her to him from Prashant hand and say " Are you ok dear lets go "
Prashant then look at Yash and say " Aarti , you know Mr Yash Sindhia ? "
Yash " Yes , she know me, we are married , how the 2 of you know each other ? "
Aarti say with a cool voice " Remember once Yash i told about a time when my parents arrange my marriage but thing didn't work out , Prashant was the man that they choose for me "
Yash then look at Prashant that laugh and say " Glad to see that you are married but my parents tell me that you are.."
Aarti then get tensed she know that Prashant is about the talk about her sickness so she say before he end his question " Prashant lets go and have a cup of coffee and talk Yash was bout to go on a meeting right Yash ? "
Yash " the meeting can wait "
Aarti " Dear i will wait for you on the reception , no problem now that i have a friend to chat with, "
Prashant "I will be glad to have a cup of coffe with you , intill Mr Yash end his meeting "
Aarti "By the way Prashant what are you doing here ? "
Prashant laugh " I work here , this hotel is one of my family's hotels so im the management here "
Aarti " Cool but how do you know my husband ? "
Prashant laugh and say " Mr Yash is one of the client that they are realy special for us , i mean the fact that he arrange his meeting on our Conference Room is a honor "
Yash was looking at them talking with ease then he look at Prashant and say " Since you are the management can you inform the people that are witing for me on the Conference Room that the meeting is off and my Secretary will contact them to arrange another meeting on another time "
Prashant say " sure sir but.."
Before Prashant could speak further , Yash grap Aart's hand and start walking , Aarti just say " Bye Prashant " while Yash was pulling her , he keep walking till they reach the limo and say
"Get in Aarti "
Aarti look at him and say " Whats wrong with you ? o god you and your rude behavor "
Yash look at her on anger and say " Just get on the car "
Aarti say " They something money cannot buy like manners and you are a living proof of that " she then went inside the car and Yash slam the door after her
Aarti and Yash didn't talk on the car , but after a moment of silence Aarti say " I wil never go to a lunch with you again , i didn't eat my dessert because of your weird mood swings,and i alawys eat my dessert "
Yash " My weird mood swings ? your actions and talk will make enyone angry "
Aarti " So now its my fault "
Yash " Yes , you are the one who make me angry "
Aarti " What did i do ? "
Yash " You fist refuse to ... you know what forget it " he say that then look from the car window
Aarti " Wait a minute are you still angry about our friendship thning believe me Yash its not something of my ... "
But she stop talking when she saw Yash press teh button and tell the driver to stop , the car stop Yash get out and Aarti follow him saying " Yash i was talking to you,why did westop on the middle of the street ? "
Yash look at her smile and say " For dessert " Yash grap her hand and lead her to store and say to the seller " barfi please "
The seller look at Yash for a while and say " I remember sir , you are the man who come on the middle of the night asking for barfi for your wife ? "
Yash " yes, you still remember me ? "
The seller " How can i forget ? you give me a lot of money for a small box of barfi "
Aarti was standing and looking at them , then she smile thinking " O god i realy love you Yash , you maybe go angry man mode sometimes but your heart is warm like a summer day "
Aarti cut her thoughs when Yash com to her holding a box of barfi and saying " here is you dessert Aarti happy ? "
Aarti smile and say " I take my words, i will definatly have lunch with you again on the future "
Yash laugh and say jocking " Lucky me "
Aarti say " Lets eat it on the car "
On the car Aarti start to talk again while they both were eating barfi, she was saying how happy she was to see to change on the car , she was talking about the chips
Yash keep looking at her talking and think " I will not let you go easily Aarti, we will definitely stay in touch after our 3 months together " he smile then an evil smile
The day went normal , and again at night Yash and Aarti sleep on each other arms. Next after they wake up and Yash was jogging on the garden , he stop again the look at Aarti on the window, She was enjoying the weather, then rain start to fall , Aarti smile and start to play with the faling drop of water, from the window , Yash just foget the truck of time , he didn't even realize that he was standing under a heavy rain, just looking at her playing like a kid on with the drops of water lead him to anather he keep looking at her for minutes,and he feel like looking at her for hours, Aarti then stop when she notice that Yash was standing under the rain ,
she think " What the hell is he doing ? " she then ruch to her dessing room take her umbrella and ruch on to him.
After Yash disappeared from the window , Yash keep imagining her actions and smile under the rain then he had a weird desire to play with the drops of the water too, so he open his arm and look at the sky , but he stop when he hear Aarti saying " Are you trying to fall sick ? " she then go close to him , they both were standing there under the umbrella looking at each other eyes Yash look at her and say " Its a blue umbrella "
Aarti smile and say " yes its a blue umbrella, Yash lets go inside before you fall sick "
Yash smile and say " What if we dance under the rain ? "
Aarti laugh and say " its a seductive offer but i will pass since the last time i dance under the rain i got a bad flu , realy bad flu"
Yash smile and say " Lets go inside then i don't want you to fall sick "
Aarti smile a sad smile think " But im already sick Yash " she then say " Lets go "
On there way inside Yash make sure to take the umbrella from Aarti and hold her waist saying with a playful tone " Its a small umbrella " Aarti look at him there eyes meet
They keep looking at each other, for some time till they hear G3 ma saying " why are you holding an umbrella inside to palace ? "
At that moment Aarti and Yash realize that they are on the hall inside the palace, G3 was going to do her morning prayer when she saw them
Aarti blush take the umbrella from yash hand and free herself from her hold and say " there is no rain here , Yash lets go to our romm you need to change those wet clothes " then she look at G3 and say " Good morning G3 ma " then she went
G3 ma say " Good morning dear " then she look at Yash who was standing feeling embarrassed and say " Dear go and change your clothes " . Yash then say " Good morning G3 ma " then went
G3 smile and think " I will keep you on my prayers dears "
When Yash enter the room ,Aarti ruch to him and put his red towel on his head saying " O god you are so wet , what were doing under that heavy rain? "
Smile smile and say " Going mad "
Aarti look at him and say " Don't go mad alone its my job to drive crazy on a healthy way "
Yash laugh then lean to her and kiss her on her forehead then say " Ok " , Aarti blush and Yash smile look at her red face then went to the bathroom.
Again Yash enjoy there moment at breakfast table and he was more glad when Aarti give him her blue umbrella while he was going to work saying " Have a nice day and take this with you its raining "
Yash take it and went smiling , when he go back at the evening , after dinner , he was working on his lap top on his desk while Aarti was reading a book on the sofa,the he sneeze,Aarti close the book and rush into him saying " Yash are you ok ?"
Yash smile and say " Im fine i just sneeze once im ... " then he sneeze again, Aarti look at him and say " o god you having flu i know it, o god Yash you cannot stand under the heavy rain like you did on the morning like some hero on a movie "
Yash laugh then sneeze agin Aarti then grap his hand and say taking him on the bed " Lie down here i will bring some flu meds "
Yash say while lieing on the bed " You have meds for flu ? "
Aarti " yeh i alawys keep it with me you never know flu is something that can heat you enytime "
Yash keep lieing, Aarti back after sometime holding some pills and a glass of water and say " Take this now and after 4 hours i will give another dose "
Yash drink the pills with the water smiling, he was enjoying Aarti care , then she put her hand on his forehead and say " O god you have fever too"
She then went outside the room and after a while back with cold pack , she set next to him and put it on his forehead saying " hold this " then she went to bring other stuff
During the next hours Aarti try on him all the possible things that people do for flu, all the home treatements and some more meds
after a while Yash say " Aarti enough , its just a flu , after all this i don't think that will have flu for a whole year "
Aarti laugh and say " Ok , ok , its time for your second dose of pills "
Yash take it, then he say " Im tired i think im going to sleep now "
Aarti " Ok " then she turn of the light and went to his embrace agian Yash say " I think you should stay away from me tonight or i will Infect you "
Aarti hug him tight and say " No "
Yash try to push her gentely away from him saying " Aarti i have flu "
Aarti hug him tight and say " I will hug you even if you have the black Plague"
Yash laugh and say " The doctor find a cure for that , its not an extreme exmeple "
Aarti " how about i will hug you even if you have that virus that turn people Zombie "
Yash " what virus ? "
Aarti " O god Yash you don't watch movies ? "
Yash laugh hug her back and say " And i will hug too even if you were the ptiend 0 of some weird disease , like the dangerous diseases on movies"
Yash and Aarti sleep holding each other , next day Yash wake up feeling a little better, but the flu didn't go , so Aarti didn't let him go the work she was saying " Yash no way you going to work, you must take a rest for today "
Yash " Im feeling better "
Aarti " Yash but you are a dongoure on other people you can make a lot people sick, you are now a danger for the world "
Yash laugh and say " Ok i will stay here and make the world a better place "
Aarti laugh and say " Im gonna bring breakfast for you "
Aarti then went and informe everybody about Yash's flu and tell Prateek to take care of the work till Yash feel better, also she didn't let them go and say him saying "Its flu guys we don't want all the healty people on this house fall sick, a year ago i have a bad flu and all the people ho visit me fall sick too "
Everybody then laugh and agree with her
Yash fever and the flu meds make Yash sleep to whole day, Aarti just set next to him and take care of him while looking at him sleeping she think " I can look at you for years Yash and never get bored "
That night 2 Aarti insist the sleep on his arms , 2 days later Yash flu was totaly gone , but he stay at home since Aarti fall sick
he was taking care and saying " You are realy stubborn , now you have flu too "
After few days under Yash care Aarti too recover and the flu season end on the palace , Yash finaly go to his work after a week of abscence everybody was shocked from the fact that Yash took a holiday , he never does that even when he is sick.
On one of the everning when Yash and Prateek come homefind that they have guests, Aarti and G3 were chatting with Sunita and Aman
Yash smile and say " Hi "
Aman and Sunita look at him smile too and say "Hi "
Aarti then intruduce them to Prateek saying " Prateek this is my best friends Aman and Sunita , and guys this is my baya Prateek "
Aman " Nice to meet you again , we meet the wedding "
Prateek shke his hand saying " Yeh i remember glad to meet you again "
Yash " You guys are going to have dinner with us today "
Sunita " No its ok , we ..."
Aarti " We don't take no as answer at this house you guys are having dinner with us "
Aman " yes boss "
they everybody laugh , then Sunita say " Guys they is a new karaoke , on the city what is you join us next friday ? "
Aman " Prateek can come too "
Aarti " Wow a karaoke"
Sunita " yes and on the japanese style, we gonna reseve our private room and have fun "
Aarti look at Prateek and say " Baya you can bring Pari, we realy gonna have fun"
Prateek " Sure "
G3 then say " Its dinner time "
Then they went to have dinner and had a great time, and again with her frinds Aarti make that meal a real fun , after dinner Sunita and Aman went
Yash was on the room looking a little nervous Aarti went to him and say " is everythin ok ? whats bother you ? "
Yash " I have to confess something to you Aarti "
Aarti say " Im listening "
Yash " Im ...im ...im "
Aarti start to worry " Im what ? just speak "
Yash " Im not a good singer "
Aarti " Yeh "
Yash " When will go to the karaoke, i will not be abale to sing "
Aarti look at him then blast laughing and say "chill Yash , its a karaoke not a concert, people with bad voice sing all the time there "
Yash " my voice is not bad , my voice is horrible "
Aarti look at him and say " lets see how bad is it "
she grap his hand and take him to the bathroom , they enter there close the door and Yash was confuse , he then say " What are we doing on the bathroom Aarti ? "
Aarti " You are going the sing and im going to hear you, you know people voice look good on the bathroom no matter what so sing "
Yash " I don't remember eny song "
Aarti " Just sing the national anthem don't tell me you don't remember it ? "
Yash " Of course i do "
Aarti put her hand on her heart and say " so start "
Yash look at her then start singing , Aarti look at him with shock then she put her hand on his moth on the middle of the song saying " Stop it , its a high treason for our country to let someone sing our national anthem like that , o god Yash horrible is not enough to descrip your voice "
Yash remove her hand from his mouth and say " I told you "
Aarti " open your mouth Yash "
Yash " Why ? "
Aarti " I just wanna say if there is a car who is dieing on your throat"
Yash laugh then Aarti add " there is no way that i will let you sing , we
all gonna need to visit ears'd doctor after that "
Yash look at her and say " Ok , enough sarcasm "
Aarti smile and say " But you can do lips moving, you know the song is
on and move your lips like if you are the one singing "
Yash " What ?no"
Aarti "come on Yash actors do it all on movies "
Yash " No "
Aarti then give him the puss in boots look and say " Please"
Yash look at her for second then say " Ok only one song "
Aarti hug and say " Thanks "
Yash heart start to rise again then break the hug saying" Aarti let get out
of the bathroom its start to get weird "
Aarti " Ok "
then they get out , and agin that night they sleep on each other arms
next friday Yash was siting on the living room waiting for Aarti
Prateek then say " I will go and pick Pari see on there"
Yash " Do you have the kareoke's address? "
Prateek " yes ,don't worry " then he went , Yash keep waiting thinking "What take her
this long she told me she is going to wear her other short dress, o god women "
Yash then set on the sofa looking at his handwatch, then he hear Aarti foote step,
he look up , then his eyes turn wide open and he stand , Aarti was wearing a black short dress
and lifing her hair up , with red high heals, Yash keep looking at her she was looking smoking hot
Aarti went to him with a sexy walk and say " Yash lets go "
Yash was still lost on her , so he say on delirium "Your place or my place" it was like her heat cause fever to him
Aarti " No to the karaoke place " the she laugh
Yash then realize what come out of his mouth , he was going to speack when Aarti put her hand on his mouth and say " No need to speak for now, i don't wanna hear what will
come out of your mouth next "
Aarti slowly remove her hand of his lips and say " Lets go "
On the car Aarti keep talking and eating chips, and Yash was just lost on her and he think " How can she make me mesmerize, by all her different state ? " yash has dated pretty girls with great fashion sense
but he never get lost on eneyone of them , he never look at eny of them like he look at Aarti
When they reach the karaoke place , they find Sunita and Aman waiting for them, Prateek and Prai join them , they then wnet to the private room
and they order food there and drinks there ,
All the couple sing and the others cheer for them ,but when Aarti and Yash turn come Yash refuse to sing and look at Aarti asking her for help, Aarti then say " yash will be the judge , so Aman and Sunita sing also Prateek and Pari
he will judge who is the best couple , as for me there only one person i look the best with and i sure i will win this with "
She look at Sunita and say " Dear lets rock "
Aman " Thats not fear you sing with her all the time "
Aarti " After your talent show we need something more professional"
Sunita " Lets sing Aarti "
Then they both went and start looking for a song on the tablet there
Aarti " This one is perfect we will do it on the glee version, you still remember the dance steps ? "
Sunita " Of course we practice for hour for it "
Yash " Practice ? "
Aman look at him and say " You would be surprised of the things that this 2 practice to do together , dance is only one of
it , every time they saw together something " Cool " on TV they try it "
Sunita then say " You do santana part "
Aarti " Ok , lets put the ear mike it will be more essy for us to dance "
Sunita " Ok "
Sunita and Aarti take there position then Aarti then say " Turn the music on "
Aman press the on button , the music start and Aarti look at Yash with a smile then start singing her fisrt ligne " I don't know why i like it , i just do "

Sunita and Aarti dance perfectly that everybody start to clap on the end , and Yash was just looking at Aarti agin amaze by her , then Prateek say " No need to take Yash opinion, the winner is you guys "
Aarti laugh look at Sunita and say "We are the best "
Sunita " We just rock "
Everybody enjoy that night then Aarti ask Yash to do the lips thing , Yash agree when he went to the mike Aarti say " I will pik a song for you , don't worry the lyrics will be on the screen "
But everybody start to laugh with Aarti turn the song that Aarti pick start
Yash look at her and say "Ha ha,funny a woman voice realy ? i will choose the song myself "
He then went look at all the song then smile and pick one, Yash look at Aarti and start to prend to sing

he was doing that so perfectly that everybody deliave that he was singing , he was looking at Aarti, at the end of the song Aarti blush , Aman and Sunita start to tease her of how romanic Yash was , after that Yash set next to her, with a smile , after they had a nice night , they decide to go back
Prateek went to drop Pari, and Aman and Sunita went to there home , at there way home Yash was looking at Aarti
Aarti smile and say " Why are looking at me like you never saw a girl before ? "
Yash smile and say " I never saw a girl like you before "
Aarti blush , and Yash just keep looking at her , that night when she was sleeping on his arms Yash was thinking " How can i leave you after 3 months ? " then he close his eyes to sleep
After a month and half
Aarti was seting on the sofe writing on her notebook
" The half of the way passed, i still sleep on his arms every night , we still have our crazy moments ,our everyday routine and every day i fall in love with him more, when i meet Yash again, i though that my 12 years of love were the higher i could feel , but now that i live with him , i find out that i have more ability the love that his love can be deeper than i have even imagine , reaching places inside and never know that they exist , i don't know if he feel enything for me , but he still take care of me, as the days pass its hard for me to see myself leaving him after 3 months and i keep wishing and praying god, the leave this memories , inside me, after i leave him, i don't think that i will be abale to love enyone like i love him, and forgottrn this love will the biggest lose on my life and ..." |
Aarti stop writing since she saw a drop of blood fall on the page , she touch her nose the find blood , she then think " No, please no this is not happening i need more time, this cannot happen to me now "
Aarti stand up to go the bathroom, but she froze on the middle of the room she was feeling dizzy, Yash was on his desk work when he notice Aarti standing then he saw her bleeding nose, he take a napkin then rush to her, he put it on her nose saying " Aarti are you ok ? "
Aarti smile and say " Im fine it just a bleeeding nose , this thing happen with people all the time" Aarti take the napkin and fix it on her nose say " I can do it, i will go the bathroom ,to clean all this blood " she start walking but she froze since everything srart to turn around her then she pass out , but Yash catch her before she hit the ground |
