Awww Farah, thanks for the special mention, I have not been able to write a comment since this morning, so I'll compensate it with an extra long comment, hope you don't mind. It's just been one of those super busy days. But thank you so much, I am so touched. 🤗
Before I forget, I need to mention this, which seems to escape my notice every time I post a comment on your story is that your story is extremely close to my heart for a very unique reason. Apart from having a fabulous storyline & being wonderfully written, the very setting of your story in Chanakyapuri, Delhi is in itself very close & dear to me, coz, that's where I grew up too 😃 I lived right beside Taj Palace in Chanakyapuri, so your story is bringing back my wonderful memories of my childhood, I couldn't thank you more. A huge hug for you. 🤗
Moving on, about today's update, it was just PURRRFFFECT. Unlike many others, I found the amorous activities of our dear couple quite a natural progression in their feelings towards each other. The physical longing is growing which is bringing with it a very strong emotional longing as well... Khushi is not a promiscuous person by any yardstick. So, she would ordinarily, not indulge in any such activities without being deeply involved with the person. She herself has admitted, that she has fallen hard for Arnav, & given the fact that she's always had a crush for him since childhood, she lets her feelings for Arnav guide her.
Also, coupled with her past & her decision to not waste time on commitments from Arnav, she doesn't feel it necessary to hinge her life on something which may or may not be permanent in the first place. But her feelings for Arnav are real & she wants to proceed with her relationship with Arnav purely based on that. Just as I understand where Khushi is coming from, I would like to see Arnav realize her immense faith in him to proceed with a kind relationship with him which would not be acceptable to either of their families, but only her feelings for him & her need of him have prompted her to take that huge leap of faith in him... Kissing & making out is ok, but for taking their relationship to the next level, Arnav should wait IMO. Because he is not only older but also the more worldly wise & knows about her family's conservative background & principles just as much as he knows his own. So I want him to realize more than Khushi, where he is going with this relationship... I think he subconsciously realizes that that there's no backing out now...
To cut Arnav some slack, the guy is sooo in love. I LOVED the fact that he has developed such an acute longing for Khushi & is getting mighty miffed that he cannot bear to not touch her whenever he wants to. I have a feeling these very restrictions around meeting & being with Khushi will tip the scales for him to realize that what he feels for Khushi has gone way beyond a passing interest. He said today, that "This is the real deal, Red." You bet it is the real deal for him now.
I adored the way he came & felt the need to inform Khushi before he left for his meeting. They both wanted to hug each other & kiss each other goodbye until next time. Awww. His mind was only on when they could meet again?? When he found out that their next scheduled meeting would be 3 days away, he panicked more than her IMO. LOL. I loved the way he said, "Don't be upset, I'll find a way!" How cute is that?!?!? Wonder who he was reassuring then, himself or Khushi?? 😉
But the line that touched me most in today's update was this...
"Arnavji! You will call me?" Arnav saw the genuine uncertainty in her eyes, & he sensed a quick anger building inside him as he said fiercely, "Of course!" as his eyes conveyed the rest of the message, 'Why do you even need to ask me that?!'
The man is sooo committed already, he has no clue, & is upset with her for doubting his obvious commitment. LOL I am so waiting for his epiphany. It would be a sight to see. LOL
About the precap, nobody other than Arnav saw or heard Khushi's pain at the thought of selling Nikunja at his farmhouse, so I am mighty surprised he hasn't picked up on Khushi's intense attachment for her home. Especially now that he can read her feelings like a book? Didn't he suggest to Khushi that she should find herself a rich boy who could buy Nikunja for her?? As such, I am having serious doubts about this so called Canadian couple...
I could be totally wrong, but since all the legal transactions are being handled by AR Corp. lawyers, & Arnav's realtor, this Canadian family could very well be a ruse to not let anybody know that the actual buyer of the house is Arnav & not the Canadian couple. How else would he justify buying Nikunja from the Guptas, he cannot do it openly, right? He will disclose it to Khushi at the appropriate time methinks. (See, I am such a hopeless romantic. LOL)
Great update Farah, & yes, please drop any & all ideas of wrapping this story, I want it to go on forever.
