"Time heals all wounds Beta"
"He is gone forever, forget him!"
Wasn't she herself living in the same past? She had distanced herself from her own passion of Dance because it reminded her of Him But she was also the same lady who changed her surname to Ghai which was His surname. When she discovered that even Kria had the same dancing bone as her parents had, She made her leave dancing forever and If that wasn't enough she even made her leave her love.
Her insecurities of losing her daughter had driven her to do the same thing which her own parents did to her. She still remembered the day Kria came in her life; it was like she had got a new reason to live. Her mete existence had infused life in her. She had promised herself that she would be the best parent but..
"Maa, Aap ye kya keh rahi hai, Please maa, Aapne jo kiya mere ache ke liye hi kiya! Please apne aap ko blame mat karo na Maa"
Stepping on the land of Mumbai she somehow felt feverish. It brought back all those memories which she had locked in her heart; Memories she never thought she would ever be able to rub off her heart; Memories which were there to stay forever; Memories which were carved on her heart because they were His Memories.
Collecting her luggage she walked forward to call a cab. Her mother had arranged an accommodation for her. She was going to live with a certain "Ms. Disouza" as she read the note given by her mother.
"Ouccchhh" She squealed as she hit the bonnet of a car which was parked at the wrong place.
"Universe Jee! Aate hi kaise Jhallo se pala padva diya" rubbing her paining knee she mentally cursed the car's owner and got into the cab'

"St. Louis College"
She muttered under her breath while slapping her forehead. Her mind drifted off to the day she crudely broke her love's heart. How much it pained her to do something that horrible to someone whom she loved so dearly. She shattered his heart as if he meant nothing to her. Nothing, There was absolutely nothing she could do to make it up for him. Her heart longed for his love; her heart needed the same warmth he had given her by his love. The times they talked all night bout nothing to everything, the way he used to make her feel like a princess making her giggle at his silliest of jokes. How she wished she had not broken his heart..
With those thoughts she marched towards the principal's office only to be met by various shocked glances, it was almost like her re-appearance had stunned the whole college and in no time she was the hot topic of gossip. Ignoring all those remarks she went ahead and completed all the formalities. She hushed all the questions all the teachers asked her by calling it a "personal emergency" But barring all that she still felt home. The air of Her college hadn't changed much but for sure it was different than the first she stepped in this college. She was the sole reason of the breaking of ever so there Dazzlers and Weaklings war as complimented by RDX who seemed to be more than happy to welcome her back in the college as well in the dance league.
"Yeah! Come in..Btaya mujhe principal sir ne..I hope the event was good!"
"Yes Sir! Event was really good" spoke Sharon in a really sweet voice.
*Trrringgg*
The bell she was waiting to hear finally rang and she collected her stuff and ran behind her "Friends" who seemed to be preoccupied in their own.
"Maa ko meri dancing ke bare me pata lag gaya tha..She didn't want me to be here..Mujhe jana pada..sab chodh ke'tum sabko'yaha tak ki Rey.."
Silently all of them listened to Kria as she spilled the beans. She didn't want to lose out on even a single detail maybe she was scared that she won't get another chance to explain herself ever again. Neha could feel her heart swelling up in pride and her eyes getting full thinking about her friend's sacrifice. She couldn't dare to imagine herself in Kria's shoes.
Silent tears made their way through each of their eyes as they listened to the story of the girl whom they hated since the last few months. Swayam wanted to punch himself for ever believing that Kria was a heart-breaker, his nostrils flared as she mentioned Shivam as the real culprit behind all the menace. That guy was a serious pain in the ass.
He went ahead and wiped her damp face while making her stand on her feet. His eyes showed immense guilt and his clenched fist portrayed his anger towards himself. She was an angel and yet they made her look like the beast. They all owed her in one way or another, their friendships, and their relationships everything stood strong only cause of her effort. He embraced her in a hug as if expressing how sorry was he for not trusting her as she cried on his shoulder.
This gloom-stricken stance broke as Amar and Bharat came with drinks for everybody, they were the true rays of happiness.
Her heart ached as she thought of not seeing him for two more days. Since the time she stepped in Mumbai all she wanted to do was run in his arms and stay there till she cried her heart out to him that would have been her solace. She sighed as she cursed her destiny for making her suffer this much. She requested her friends to not tell her about her re-appearance as she didn't want him to hate her even more in these two days.
They all chatted and caught up with each other's lives as they made their way out. Her heart skipped a beat thinking about her and Rey together. Last time when she went she knew he was more than a friend for her but this time she was sure how much he meant to her and she was all set to show him that.
The last two days were the most impatient days were the most impatient days in her whole life time. She couldn't concentrate on anything. Everything reminded her of him and honestly she was getting pissed off. Love makes people insane and she was surely acting like one right now. Calling her love-struck would be a pure understatement because she was truly Rey-struck (as emphasized by Vishakha). She was glad that finally the wait was over and he'll be back in the college but with that she could feel her heart beat fastening; it was like her heart was getting poked with each beat of her heart. She knew it won't be easy, he might just shout at her with all his might or who knows he might hit her for being such an idiot but can she blame him for that?
She shut her eyelids tight so as to get rid of all those thoughts. Pessimism was the last thing she wanted right now. Smiling inwardly she started walking towards her favourite haunt i.e. the Fire escape. That place was like a serene escape for her. It was their place; being there made her feel as if she is in his embrace'
The loud shrill of her phone made her come out of her deep thought as she answered her ringing phone. She looked like a ghost as she got off the call. Her face was all white with fear; her frail fingers tightened their hold against her phone as she tried to calm herself. Neha had called to tell her that Rey had reached the college and the news had hit her like a tornado.
"Universe Ji, Please bacha lena!" She mumbled as if she was going to enter some lion's cage.

Her eyes scanned the atrium as she looked for him midst of the crowd. She was really dying to get a glimpse of him and she got that; the very next moment. He was there with a couple of guys discussing something with them. She glanced at him as she noticed those frown lines on his forehead; He wasn't the one who took much tension rather he was one of those Happy go lucky ones. She stepped back a little as she controlled her urge to go and caress his cheek. She had really missed him' She took a long breath and started moving towards the rehearsal room as she saw him going in that direction.
"Rey'" her voice trembled as she called him stepping into the empty rehearsal room.
His head turned in a fierce motion as his eyes tried to register her presence; they looked void as if there were no emotions in him. He stood there like a statue in absolute silence, an eerie silence which seemed to be haunting her.
"Rey, aapki Kria wapis aagayi hai, aapke liye, humare liye.."
Her meek murmur didn't get unnoticed by him as she batted her eyelashes so as to stop the tears which were starting to fill her eyes.
"Mere liye? Are you kidding me?" His voice was as sharp as a dagger.
"Tum-me aur mujhme koi hum nahi hai Kria'If that's your name'I'm sorry I have a bad memory, Par haan Welcome to St. Louis once again'Akhir GS hu, welcome to karna hi padega na"
His words stung her badly; she felt the ground beneath her moving as tears made way down her cheeks. He almost snatched her hand and shook it as a part of his "Welcome gesture" and went out. She hadn't expected this, she surely hadn't.
His reaction had left her gobsmacked as if somebody had punched in her stomach. She can't let him do that to her. He treated her as if she meant nothing to him. She couldn't tolerate such indifference. Her nostrils flared as she fumed in anger while wiping off those tears off her face. She ran behind him and caught him in the corridor as he walked away as if nothing really happened.
"Aap..Aap aise kaise jaa sakte hai" she spoke catching her breath.
He stared at her for a second and walked ahead leaving her agape. He was really testing her patience. It was like he had really moved on. Had he?

"Usko koi farak nahi padta Neha'he is over me..He is behaving jaise I'm nobody for him!"
She had been weeping since her meeting with Rey. She expected his reaction to be extreme rather she wanted him to shout at her, make her realize what a blunder she had done, shake her by her shoulders and make her understand that what a ruthless bitch she was but what she didn't want was this reaction. She sniffed as she told her friends how he reacted. His coldness was driving her nuts. It was like he didn't even acknowledge her presence. Was she really dead to him?
She howled as the last thought crossed her mind. Her heart shuddered in pain thinking about it; was this really the end of her love story'
Her friends consoled her and wrecked their brain trying to decipher Rey's behaviour. Sharon looked lost in her thought and so did Vicky. They were evaluating the situation and seemed they had reached an end point where they pretty much supported Rey.
_____________________________________________________
It had been 10 days since Kria came back in the college and not even once after that meet had Rey approached her. They did bump into each other a few times but all she got from him was a straight face. It was like he had made those walls around him which won't let her be close to him. She was exasperated because of all this. Her brain cells seemed all set to explode.
If not anything at least he could listen to her for once. Wasn't he the one who claimed to be the one in Love first?
"Jootha kahi ka" irriation was written all over her face.
On the other hand, Rey was having a hard time controlling his urge to go and slam her tiny body against a wall and shout at her for breaking his heart, for leaving him all alone when SHE needed him. Yes, Sharon and Vicky had confronted him. He knew the whole story but his heart couldn't just forgive her in one go. He trusted her so much yet she didn't reciprocate that trust; she brought barriers into their relationship by not telling him the truth. He understood that the times were tough yet for him their love was strong enough to face such situations. They could have talked out but she didn't trust him enough to come up to him and talk about her problem and that hit Rey hard.
He was confused; He just didn't what to do. At one side all he wanted to do gather her in his arms and comfort her that everything will be alright, he would be there for her forever but would that be a truth'because honestly he had major trust issues right now. He couldn't just be the same with her again.
He proceeded towards the rehearsal room as he really needed to let go off all this mental pressure and nothing but dance could do that for him. His thoughts were overpowering him and he needed time to deal with this...
*Kuch kam'Roshan hai roshni.. *
He heard the faint music coming from the rehearsal room. He had checked the timings; the rehearsal room wasn't scheduled for any practice. He peeked in to see what was really happening there and what met his eye literally swayed him off his feet.
There she was! Dancing like there was no tomorrow, swaying to the music as the melancholic beats made the surroundings even gloomier. His heart raced to see her dancing the same way she did, he got the glimpse of the girl he fell in love with, the same girl who was passionate about her first love which was dance and when she danced there was no inhibitions and seeing the same was pleasing Rey to no end. She tapped her foot with the music and stretched her limbs as if it pained her soul as she moved. Her eyes were wet and she seemed lost in the moment as if she was repenting some loss, a loss which was causing her such agony which aggravated her from within. She stepped closer to the wall while twirling her body like a bird as she caressed his poster with cloudy eyes. The last few days were too much for her. His indifference had made her weary. She needed him to come and scoop her up in his arms, cradle her like a baby but all she got was rejection..
His eyes hovered over her petite frame as she danced to the tunes...How right it was, since the time she left everything felt so different, so less and so empty...He could feel his own eyes brimming as he kept gazing at her, those beautiful tresses bounced as she danced in the rhythm. He needed her and she needed him that was the reality. What more does he wants, he wanted to slap himself for being such a jerk in the last few days and that was when hell broke loose...
He entered the room with slow steps as he descended towards his destination. She was dancing oblivious to the fact that somebody had invaded in her privacy, the moments she wanted to be all by herself. Suddenly she felt someone grasp her arm in a swift motion which made her fall off her balance and land in another territory. Such territory where she longed to be in, her eyes were looking deep into his dark black orbs and what she saw today made her heart jump in ecstasy... there were emotions, a whirlpool of emotions from fear to anger to love to what not. His cheeks were damp cause of the dried tears whereas his face showed determination. His arms embraced her as he enveloped her in a hug. It was a hug of assurance, one which zeroed the distance between them, one which made them forget their miseries, one which made them remember their love...
"I am so sorry Kria"
He finally spoke in a soft manner as he caressed her head while snuggling close to her as he smelled her hair and planted a little kiss there. Both of them had tears flowing out of their eyes as they felt solace after a long time. Silence spoke volumes for them as they comforted each other in their arms.
"Par Rey.." She tried to speak as she came out of the hug but was shushed by his finger which touched her tender lips in that very moment.
"I know everything Kria par aaj nahi, Today I just want you beside me, Please"
He wept as he again pulled her in a hug out of urgency. It was their moment of epiphany, they really needed to be together, and the separation had done enough to them already. Kria hugged him tighter as she felt the bliss which seemed to be seeping through their veins. Her happiness knew no bounds. Her struggle was over. She was forgiven and he was here in her arms and nothing else mattered to her.
"I...I really love u Rey..I Love u"
She cried as she spoke the words which Rey was dying to hear...those three magical words were all he wanted but as they say actions speaks louder than words, he scooped her up in his arms as he heard her mumble those words and made her come eye to eye and captured her rosy lips in a sweet kiss. He lightly pecked those soft petals while whispering the same words in her mouth. He felt content at last as if his long lost dreams had finally come true. Their foreheads touched as they came out of the kiss and looked in each other's eyes with so much love. It was like they themselves didn't know the height of feelings they harboured for each other. Kria snaked her arms around his neck as they kept gazing at each other while smiling ear to ear.
"I missed you so much, Kria"
"Maine bhi aapko bohot miss kia Rey'Bohot!"
He dipped his head in her long hair as he tightened his grip against her and planted several kisses along her nape while taking in the heavenly scent. She blushed as she felt her knees going weak in his hold.
"Wo Rey...hume sab.."
"Kitna baat karti ho tum Baatcutter" He grinned as she looked down trying to hide that crimson lush that was spread over her cheeks. They were in love and nobody could deny that. And now their life was back on track...
