Part two.

Strangers

As his words slowly penetrated in her ears She felt herself vulnerable'She looked bewildered for a moment'Is he the same person his uncle was talking about that he is very humble and very loving? A gush of tears feeling the back of her eyes she gasped and when she looked at him unaware the effect of his words at her he was busy tossing aside his stuff.

Why is she feeling vulnerable? Why doesn't she think he merely know her how could he see what turmoil she is going through? He may hasn't habit to reconsider his words before saying or it's the way he talks to others. Why did she expect him to treat her like a newly-wedded bride when she knew they are strangers'they never met before'they never talked before? She shouldn't let show her vulnerable side to him'She has to be strong and accept whole heartedly which her fate has chosen for her'she is ready to take the step without any fear.

The slight, slow sound of her footsteps insists him to look up . She drew closer to him, lowering her lashes but there wasn't hesitant when she had stared back at his meeting with his gaze.Confident'Strong.He looked bewildered.

when today she'd entered in register office with her uncle ,with containing silence and deep grief on her face, taking the slow short strides towards the door she was looking the creature that doesn't belong to this world and he'd felt the pinch of momentary concern for her when suddenly her foot tripped and she was about to fall he'd even raised his hand towards her but she didn't held it'she didn't even look at his side'she was so buried in her thoughts that was hardly aware of the presence of others around her and then struggling with her composure and when she finally could've straightened herself she'd given the slightly nod of her head to tell his uncle she was fine'He felt as they were not strangers'For some strange reasons at that moment his heart had started to remind him he was thinking right she wasn't a strange girl whom he was meeting, seeing very first time but now she was his companion'his companion of life.He'd seen the vulnerable side of her.

He roused from his trance of thoughts at her strong yet subtle voice hit with his ear drums and he met with her gaze.

"Though you don't want me to perform the duties of the newly-wedded wife but I can't entirely forget those values that my parents had taught me to perform'they had taught me to respect the rituals and our traditions so if you don't want to perform the duty of a newly-wedded husband'don't do but I want to perform my duties"

She'd seen the flicker of amusement in his eyes as he'd given her a brief look but then she'd felt the great difficulty to look back at him as when he'd fully turned his attention towards her letting his arms drop down and straightening himself, "I've been given you my words there're not restrictions from my side you can live your life the way you want but as I don't believe on my rituals and values so I hope wouldn't mind if I won't perform them for you"

Though there wasn't a tiny sign of roughness in his tone but she'd felt the taut mask of stiffs covered his face for a moment before he'd parted his lips for reply and she'd felt frozen in her spot pondering on her words, again reconsidering did she say something offending? But it wasn't she who said something offending that had hurt his ego but he was over reacting at her words,the restlessness, uncomfortness now turned into fury as she realized the way he again replied'so rudely.

"I hope I didn't say anything offending but it's completely upon you if you want to give me company to perform our traditions and rituals as a newly wedded couple or at least give me permission whole heartedly'I won't ever force you to do that you don't want to do"

She tried to hold her tongue to say any tight reply but the way he'd reacted on her words she didn't like it. He could've became more politely while talking with his a newly-wedded wife.Mayank looked bewildered for a moment at her quick stiffen reply and held his tongue carefully to say anything more offending--harshly that would lead towards them their first fight'First fight after marriage---A thought hit the more active part of his mind and he shook slightly becoming aware the ways of his thoughts'what he was thinking. He shrugged with the slight shake of his head and then lifted his chain meeting with her gaze but this time his voice was soft.

"Did I say you offend me?"he twitched his lips into a slight smile raising his brow and she left surprised at his sudden act.

"No'but sometimes our eyes, our face would tell everything that we want to hide"

Trying to ignore his brief look she sucked in breath tossing the lump down her throat, She was amazed how strong and clear her voice sounded; it was without a hint of waver, and he'd given her an amusing look at her taunting reply and those hard expressions that she was giving to hide her nervousness, He shook his head, biting down on the soft flesh of his inner lip and then spoke, "you thought wrong about me'I say what I want to say as I live in reality and I don't like those people who think life is just like a fairy tale"

His voice was bitter but holding the truth and those strong believes he used to have'a believe to live his life in his own way it might the reason he didn't to enforce others to live the way he want'But sometimes we need companions to share some part of our life and it was her belief.

"Neither I'm"

She had sucked in an uneasy breath jerking her thoughts and then had replied but this time her voice was slow but he could've heard the edge of strange grief and it insisted him to look up to meet with her gaze, "I don't believe in to live in a fairy tale'I know life isn't easy but sometimes we really need companion to cross the hard walls that life brings in our ways"

She'd forced herself to turn back and took out her clothes but didn't know her words had left someone in deep thought for a moment.
