Chapter-6

Kria's apartment

He kept pressing the door bell . She opened the door.. "rey… tum yahaan.. is waqt…" he didn't answer anything and went in … she followed…

He made his way to the bedroom and started walking to and fro, rubbing his stubble , clutching his hair in frustration…

"rey .. whats going on…" she asked pacing along with him.. but he didn't speak a word.. finally she made him stop and held him strong on his shoulders. She made him sit on the bed and careesed his cheeks "rey.. what happened .. tell me…" she said in a soft tone

"dad fixed my marriage , kria" he said with his head drooped down

"WHAT?????" she stood up from her seat… he held her arms and made her sit on the bed " but I said no…"… he replied in assurance holding her palm in his … she released a sigh of relief.

"I told them kria, that I will marry only you, and you are my love…" he said cupping her face .." mein tumhare bina nahi reh sakta.."he held her face close to his.

She caressed his cheeks and replied "I know rey.. I know that you will never leave me … ".

He released him self from her grip and clutched the bed sheet in fury " but dad…. He never understands me , kria,… he never understands my feelings… he is too stubborn about his decisions …and day by day he is getting more mechanical.. tumhe pata hai, he tried to buy me with his money…. He offered dance academy in US in return for my life… I cant understand … how can one be soo cruel … he seems to know only the language of ties and deals…" he said .. his face burning in fury..

But someone else seemed to build so many dreams in her mind of her dream academy in US… it was her dream, the sole reason why she sticked on to this rich hunk all these years .. but he seemed to be a person with more passion and less greed.. she had tried several times all these years , persuaded him so many times to ask for his fathers help .. but he always answered her in a 'no'… he never wanted to beg for money from his rich dad , because he knew his father would ask him to join business in return and he would never do that.. ' now is the time to act kria… its a now or never … this man before you is emotionally trodden…play… play to win … win your dreams kria …' she decided ..

"I know rey …"she said while she gently pushing him onto the bed .he faced her lying on his side , while she faced the roof … she was an outstanding actress sometimes , the way she faked her intentions was hard to dig out…. She started her emotional drama "rey .. tume pata hai, love is always followed by pain[ she managed to bring tears to her eyes !!! and he was melted, this man is blind in his love for her]…we both love each other but see this dirty game destiny is playing with us….

"kria… don't break down like this… meine kaha na .. i will never agree to this marriage …" he said cupping her face making her turn on her sides to face him… she caressed his face…" I know rey.. I know that you can never imagine anyone else in my place" she continued hugging him careesing his face with hers "nor can I rey… but … just think about that girl…" he released her ….she faced the roof now "socho rey… uski kya galati hai…"

" yeh tum kya bol rahi ho kria… kya matlab hai tumhara.." he said forcing her to face him … she turned to her left and lay on his chest, careesing his face with her fingers .."ha rey… mein us ladki k bare mein soch rahi thi… "

Rey: "taani???"

"ha taani…… whatever is happening now is in fact butchering her life … she is innocent in all this ….socho rey… she might be dreaming about a happy family life ..and how will she face it when she come to know that her marriage is broken...she will be shattered rey… I cant do that … tum … tum ye shadi k liyae ha kar do"

" what the hell!!! ,kria,don't you understand what you are speaking??"

"I know rey…I know … its hard …I don't know how I will face this situation … but rey taani ka bhi koi galati nahi hai…I cant be selfish rey… I cant butcher another girls life for sake of my happiness…"

" kria…. [he hugged her tightly]… tume pata hai … you are soo good…but I cant do that kria… there is no need for you to sacrifice…. Taani will understand, I will tell her ..[]he cupped kria 's face trying to assure her].. I will tell her that I love someone else, I am sure she will understand …"

"no rey … sometimes she might tell its okk but I know a girls mind rey, I know how much a girl dreams of her marriage…"she said faking tears "she will be shatterd rey… no .. I cant be selfish…."

"then what about you kria???... you care for her… but what about your dreams kria…. You also have dreams about our marriage… what about them??"

"haa mera bhi dreams hai … but…[she hugged him tightly hidding her face in his chest while he carreseed her hair]… mujhe … mujhe sirf tumhara pyaar chahye…I don't need any proof rey…. I know how much you love me….and that's enough for me … that's enough to give me happiness in this entire life time…. I will live in your love…. I don't need any proof in the form of marriage papers rey….mujhe sirf tumhara pyaar chahye…"

"how can you be soo good kria???" he hugged her tightly …but he was least unknown to the evil smile that adorned her face now… " how can you be soo selfless… every second I fall more in love with you kria… tume pata hai… you are the best kria….i am lucky … I am lucky to have you as my love…."

"waada karo mujhe rey…promise me that you will marry taani… [she looked directly into his eyes… but his eyes still expressed displeasure….. she cupped his face]… mere liye…."

he hugged her tightly…. Plastering her to his body "sirf tumhare liye kria… I agree to marry her…." Her face lit up in victory, finally she succedded in taming him…

"I love you rey…"she said as a concluding line to ensure him more .. "I love you too kria…"he replied kissing her nape , plastering her to his body…

Jodhpur

It was too late now .. only sound that could be heard were the occasional coo-oo,the female doves made from the big air holes of the haveli, they were enjoying with their patners…. Occasionally they send the 'ohurr' sound … this was made in pain by the female dove , when the male pecked and bit her with his bill to ascertain his ownership on her , to let her know to stay away from other males nearby…. To shoo away the other males who came near her …. To block her view, her mate used to peck her, bit her with his bill, make her moan in pain, he forcefully made her show her displeasure to a new male that came to see her….the male doves are soo possessive with their female partners, and the females are so sincere with their male counterparts… if a female dove had a former mate that she can hear even after a long separation ,it takes a long time until she accepts a new one unless her former mate is also distracted and went for a new female ….she preserves herself for him until he himself shooed her away…..strange??? doves are always considered as symbols of love……

She was still awake,She kept looking at his photo on the laptop screen…tomorrow , she is going to meet him… meet him after 15 years….a soft smile accompanied the red colour that adorned her beautiful face…she had several questions in her mind … how will he react , when he sees her??.. how will she face him….'how will be our first meeting after such a long time…aur ..what will I say… wait what will I call .. ansh?? No… he doesn't like that,[a soft smile formed on his lips remembering how he used to react in their childhood when she called him ansh]… I will call him rey… he will be surprised …'… her mind was occupied with thoughts … thoughts only about him…somewhere she fell asleep……

Morning

"bhapi… singhania bhaisab ka phone aya tha…wo log jodhpur pohonch gaye hai…10 vaje tak yahan aa jayega.." chaachu informed taani's mother

"trisha .. beta jaldi jake dekh …taani tayyar ho gayi ya nahi…" taani's mother told trisha in haste as she was busy with preparations..trisha ran up the stairs and opened taani's room… her eyes popped out seeing taani.. "DIII… diii you didn't wake up yet… diii jaldi uthooo" she screamed pulling taani

"trisha… sone do na…. raat ko kyu pareshan kar rahi ho…. "

"dii aap bi na…. uthooo"trisha said pulling the blanket which covered taani's face

"trishaa.. kyu tang kar rahi hai… jaooo apne kamre mein jake so ja…" taani replied drowsly digging her head in between the pillows..

"diii[trisha screamed into taani's ear]aaj aapko dekhne k liye jeeju aur uska family aa raha hai…. Bhool gayi kya… uthooo its already 8 and vo log 9 vaje tak yahaan aa jayega"

"kyaaa…". Taani jumped up from the bed and leaned to grab the small clock on the table near by.. she bit her lips seeing the time… "pehle kyu nahi uthai?? Huhhh…"she complained as she slid down from the bed .. " ab mujhe blame karna band karo aur jaldi se tayyar ho javo, aap ka prince jo aa raha hai" trisha chuckled as she nudged taani by her shoulder before going out ..

Mumbai

Kria opened her eyes and looked towards her side to see rey sleeping innocently by her side..she gave a wicked smile and slid down from the bed , grabbing her dress which now lay on the floor she made her way to the washroom….

"hmmm" he clutched his forehead letting out a drowsy groan….his eye lids were flickering, not ready to getout from that beautiful sleep…. Yesterday night they spent together , cuddled in each other's warmth… a soft smile formed on his drowsy face… he opened his eyes finally , stretching his arms to free himself from his sleepy mood….

" good morning rey…." Kria said as she came out from the washroom

"good morning kria" he replied with a smile

"tum jaldi se fresh ho javo, I will get your coffee by then…" she said moving towards the door of the room, he replied in a wink……

Jodhpur-Dance class

Gaurav was getting irritated now … he paced to and fro looking at his watch "eh express ko aaj kya hua ?? ab tak kyu nahi ayi??phone bhi switched off aa raha hai"…he brushed his hair, glancing at his watch again… "purvi ko call kar leta hu , shayad usse pata ho"

He made a call to purvi…

"hi purvi.."

" haa gaurav.. yeh achanak subah tu mujhe kaise yaad kiya??? Phir se taani k saath jagada kiya kya??"

"re nahi" before he could complete purvi continued "agar aisa hai to this time kisi aur ko doond lo apne fights solve karne k liye …mein nahi aane wali…"

"tum itna bak bak kyu karti ho yaar….first listen to me…"he said in a serious tone

"hai bahagwan … gaurav aur serious mode??" she said giggling

"purvi!!!"

"okk okk sorry .. ab bol kya baat hai…" purvi replied

"taani ne tujhe kuch bataya tha kya?? voh ab tak nahi ayi rehersals k liye.. she never makes default with rehersals par pata nahi aaj kya hua usse"

"tum itna tension kyu le rahe ho yaar… aa jayegi… so rahi hogi… "

"its already 9 purvi, ab tak usse aa jana chahye tha…matlab she comes at 7 daily and today … don't you think it's a bit too late…"

"tu tension mat le … wait let me call her …" purvi put gaurav's call on hold and tried taani's but it was switched off..she resumed gaurav 's call "gaurav .. switched off aa raha hai yaar…aur ab mujhe bhi tension ho rahi hai.. ek kaam karte hai… we will go to taani's house…"

Gaurav:"kk I will come to pick you, be ready"

Purvi:"ya"

He sped his bike to purvi's home and then they both went to taani's….

Haveli

Gaurav parked his bike outside and purvi and gaurav walked in …servants were busy arranging things in the big hall of the haveli…there was lot of commotion ,chaachu, chaachi, taanis mom, daadi all were busy with things .. purvi and gaurav glanced at each other in doubt

Gaurav: "it seems there is some function"

Purvi: " haa.. but taani didn't say anything…"

Gaurav: "but whom will we ask … it seems all are busy.." he said while glancing from one corner to the other of the big hall of the haveli..Suddelny his eyes caught trisha walking towards the pooja ghar

"trishaaa" he called

"guarav bhaiyya aur purvi diii" trisha screamed in glee and ran to them "aap donom bhi aa gaye .. I am soo happy …di told you guys… aww how could I forget di never keeps secrets from you people… where is rohan??? Wo nahi aye???" trisha said leaning to look for rohan

Purvi and gaurav where confused to the zenith now … secret??

Purvi: "nahi he didn't come .. in fact we came just to meet taani..[purvi gave a doubt full look], trisha … taani didn't say anything[trisha bit her lips]… whats going on… is there any function???"

Trisha : " voh actually…..[trisha was helpless now , she had to tell] di's marriage got fixed all off a sudden and they are coming to see her today…"

"KYAAA" gaurav and purvi yelled in unison" itni badi baat and she .. she hid from us???" they looked at each other .. purvi was angry towards taani for not telling her … but gaurav….. gaurav felt his life being ripped off from his body … he was angry???? No ,sad???? No, betrayed??No, frustrated??? He couldn't control himself "trishaaa , taani kahan hai???"he roared

"voh gaurav bahiyya , di apne kamre mein tayyar…" before she could complete gaurav ran upstairs……

Precap:

She kept leaning from the waranda to see them getting out of the car… "ansh.. ansh.. didn't come??".. she cluthched the lehanga in pain…. And ran upstairs

Mumbai

"I agree for this marriage" he said to his dad

" that's good , now as I promised the papers will be ready in your name by today , but you will get them only once you tie the knot" Mr singhania replied

" No , I don't want them in my name…."

Mr Singhania looked at his son with doubtful eyes

" I want them in kria 's name…."

"What rubbish Reyaansh????" Mr Singhania barked
