Hey!
This was intense, realistic and to be honest, I had a lump in my throat whilst reading this.
What Khushi went through you described it accurately.
As for Damini, the brave young woman who should've been here ... isn't. She fought till her last breath. A fighter. Strong. Courageous. She shouldn't have had to go through such a traumatic ordeal. Being raped in the f**king first place by 6 men was horrendous and if that wasn't enough for them, they beat her as she fought back. They couldn't take her defiance. They couldn't take her no. They wanted to kill her. bas***ds!!! 😡😡😡 I'm pretty sure they have wives, mothers, sisters and daughters of their own ... so how would they feel if it were their loved ones in Damini's place. Wouldn't like it would they?!!! NO! They wouldn't.
They deserve to be hanged and justice needs to be served.
They should be beaten.
Left to bleed for a short while. Bruised.
Castrated with the most sharp object ever sooo slowly infront of the public.
And only then should they be hanged.
Even doing this is less than what they did to Damini.
Thinking about this tears me up.
India needs to seriously buckle up their ideas ASAP and especially those concerning women in the country.
Erm ... Arnav's description in the diary was emotional. He conveyed his emotions by this. He couldn't face the family and too right. He is supposed to be her husband. Her protector. Her equal. But ... it feels like he just left her to be eaten like a piece of meat to a vile specimen. Yes he did try to help. Trying to break down the door. But if was so intelligent then he could've asked her what happened on the terrace. He could've hired a private investigator with all the money and power he has in order to find out the truth. He could've thought with his heart. Just this one time. And see the consequences of his actions now ... A bloody dick I tell you!!! 😡
May Damini rest in peace. You'll always be remembered. Justice needs to be served. I don't care if the youngest man of the 6 was 16 or 17. He's old enough to know the difference between right and wrong. He's just as guilty in my eyes. My prayers are with Damini's family and friends.
Well-written. Thankyou.
