We readers was so curious that when n how they will come to know, how Lady Jha will react' And see here brother and his sister is talking about it just like talking about 'subji tarkari'' so normal for them.....Kya Lin...this was totally unexpected!!!

Chapter 121 : That Which is Decisive

Nani cast her glance at him. He stared at her expressionlessly. She looked a lot more younger and stronger at heart lately, especially after she had begun stepping out of her room and polishing her title as 'Lady Mother' in action. It was as though she was trying to live up to Kushi's dreams now that the young girl was no longer there to prod her on in her reluctance.

He frowned, "The benefit of convenience."

"It seems so to you, I am sure," said Lady Lavanya, "But for a woman...love and, later, an offspring to keep one's name, are the sought fruits of marriage which will actually be termed as "profits" or "benefits" in your vocabulary."

The only person that stood out most for me was Garima in this chapter!!I have always found her very intriguing and someone known. Knowing the fact that She is a mother of two daughters, one being her own blood and one her adopted one,she has done very well at fulfilling the responsibility. Shasi being the loving, doting father with easy rapport with his girls, garima has that stern, strict persona as a parent even compensating Shasi... but isnt that a normal thing??!?! one of our parents is (always) little more strict... drawing lines what "not" to do And here that is Garima!! Her attachment and love to Khusi is very different and very special!! Khusi is not her daughter by blood yet she confesses to Buaji she loves her more! That proves that her tough exterior is only to keep them in line!!

U know, I can relate to the Garim and Khusi's story here. My massi's daughter came to live with us when she was 3 years. My mom literally did her upbringing... just like any mother would do! It wasnt like her parents were dead but they were separated and due to some other reasons she came into our house!! She lived with us for 9 years and went away to live with her own mom (my massi). So many things happened during those 9 years. Now when i look back, everything makes sense to me... i have answers and explanations now which i seek back then!!! If you ask me that if I liked her coming to our lives and sharing everything then NO i didnt in-fact we (me n my brother) didnt like it at first. I remember my brother asking when she will go back to her Own house!! In all this the only person who stood strong, made amends among us, made me realize that she is my sister and will live with us henceforth was my Mom. I see my Mom in Garima... Garima knows Khusi is more prone to trouble, payal being sensible she is not worried about her... its her love for Khusi that makes garima strict, inexpressive and drawing lines for her... To protect her!! She had taken in a girl as their daughter so its always a greater responsibility for her to prove herself that she is her real mother by making sure of Khusi's well being and needs!! In our case my Mom was strict to all, since R was small she used be lenient sometimes... getting away with doing things!! she got extra of everything... My mom was never bothered about me maybe becoz i was too good to fuss about!!
no it was not that.. she knew you were her own..her blood,u'll stick with her through every hardship..she had trust n faith in you.. whereas,her responsibility towards someone else's child was greater than her own children. she probably felt she could not fail at that but she could count on you ,her blood to understand all n help her.. n i see that her faith in you has paid off. if only she could read what her daughter wrote for her..she'll know she chose the right person with her set of responsibilities n she UNDERSTANDS her mom's decision well. just not that KA.. if life ever threw such a situation your way {may God forbid. but in a sense that you may have to face your own set of challenges in life]..then you'll act just the way ur mom did. with SELFLESSNESS!! she set an example for her kids.. she's a great woman. n i salute her courage n goodness.
its never easy to call someone else's child your own n just not that but to actually consider her your own. its a complex thing n i dont think i can explain it well enough.. but anyone who had doubts about Garima ever, shud read your thoughts on it.. you have done a brilliant job by explaining her character.

she appears stern with khushi for the reasons you explained.. but she loves her the most.. just go through the earliest chps of the FF,where khushi was brought home by Shashi.. Garima didnt even question him about her.. she named her ''khushi'' n gave her the same bed payal had. even khushi herself knows this fact about garima n so never doubts her mom. i have immense love n respect for garima, coz had she been just the mother of payal..she wud be doing a normal thing coz every mother loves her child.. but here's garima,who accepted khushi n loves her even more than her own blood..she is a person who has a ''heart of gold'' n she has the courage to ''sacrifice'' for others.. there's so much goodness in her soul,her husband n others know that.. what khushi really is to her is what she called her the 1st night..''KHUSHI''... she compels you to respect n adore her,despite her stern look n ways.. this is the reason why i said ''bleeding roses'' title suits every character.. coz every person only ''appears'' to be different here..some rude..some cruel..some good..some strong..some happy..but their hearts tell a different story.. in this is why i LOVE this story.. except,if only linny wud stop acting like Gul..n stop being cruel to me n give me updates soon.. *eye brow cocked*...😆
I was given the responsibility of my brother n sister from their school uniforms to their school work!! ya tell me... i was their guardian/maid/tutor and elder sister. But i got used to it... i loved them both but was more lenient to sister like my Mom!! watching out for her more than my brother... coz he never needed,... he was basically my moms chamcha! 😆 My mom was never expressive showing of emotions... she was always busy to make sure everything was there... what we needed... on time for all of us!! Making sure her daughters were brought up correctly with good manner/habits/social rules etc. Didnt Garima doing the same??? So my mom was Like garima to R... and dad.. well dad was dad.. easy rapport... easy conversation.. smooth relationship!! My mom is still the same.. the only difference is she little soft now as i am here far away... but still strict!!

Linny when you portrayed Garima, i always felt i know her... then this chapter made me nostalgic... The only difference in your story and mine is Khusi still lives with Gupta family and Loves them to core... But I am not sure my little R, she lives away and has distanced herself from us... she is all grown up now... but whenever i remember her, its still the small girl comes to my mind!!

Sorry guys i didnt mean to bore u with my story but could not resist from sharing... I admire Garima to no end... she makes me proud and also helped in a way to know my mom little more better...I have never discussed or talked about it before.. but for some reason it feels nice!! 😃

And then Khusi finally returned home... is she same Khusi??? naahhh... Lordy unknowingly took some of herself with him... she will never be the same again...

so true😆..even i had so many things in my mind for this but..it was a big surprise for me too.. see when we saw the lordy-gen encounter,we thought he recognized the Gen. but then lin confirmed on HP's post that lordy recognized the creature n not the Gen. or atleast thats what i thought. n now am confused alot..coz even now i feel lordy's only suspicious n has not recognized the Gen as the creature.. see he said ''why'' the creature changed into this?? or something! alright,i didn't see the whole fiasco in such a way.. but i see too many supporters of La here so will keep my mouth shut.. lest i earned chappals..you see you cant make omelettes out of them.. n i dont think anyone will throw good pairs..

but just two things---

1.lady la here is just as much at fault as lordy is.. its true that he didn't drag her in his house. he hid his real intentions but he clearly let her know that this is the only kind of relationship they can share.. back then even lady la didn't have issues with it n agreed to it,infact she did believe in it in a way.. but then by the passage of time she realized that bonds have a certain respectability attached to them..be it publicly or personally..n if u violate it..no1 accepts it n ur relationship becomes a joke ! but still she did make a mistake long back.. n she will pay for it. no matter how hurt she gets,she let him come this far. but it is really nice that she is willing to correct all that n is strong enough to move on if it has to come to that. but atleast for me,it was a li'l shocking that the whole family blamed it only on him,where i think they shud have handled the whole situation bit more wisely.

2. i am not sure if la really loves lordy. linny has to yet show me that..coz la doesnt show her feelings openly. i feel for her what Mr.Darcy did for Elizabeth's elder sister.

may be am wrong,n u cant blame me really coz, its been over 100 chps n there are many things that i have forgotten by now...n just look at me,am talking of it like i used to for IPKKND,OUCH !!

WELL SAID Dear..👏 n it did sound quite harsh when he said that..however,i think he didn't say it coz he didnt have respect for her..but only coz he was too frustrated n angry @the situation..n saw that La too decided to stand against him n his beliefs.

It was as though the room was a vacuum and all sound and breath were held back. Everyone stared at the spectacle before their eyes, shocked with regard to how Lord Arnav would take this, while Lord Arnav stared at his sister disbelievingly, and his sister stared back at him, holding Lady Lavanya's hand, who was looking at Lady Anjali, amazed and at a loss for words.

Though I had same reaction.. but imagine the scene I had light laughter...

"It was for you," said Lord Arnav to his sister.

Yes but u hv not specified it to LA dear...

"No, it was for you and it was wrong," said Lady Anjali, and then said once again, "Apologize to her, Chotey."

She is right in a way..!!

And then before Lord Arnav realised what he had let his sister see, his face was overcome by a look of terror as his sister's hold on his hand slackened and her eyes rolled backwards as though she were about to faint.
