Honestly, i wrote the comment as usual. Didnt even do any analysis. Just verbalized my thoughts on the behaviour of the three characters. Lord Arnav doesnt bothers to fail the expectations of his nani, doesnt shows any regret for hurting the sentiments of Lady La, doesnt feel necessary to comply with the demands of his sister to apologize to Lady La or doesnt find it necessary to agree with Lord Manohar's words. He was and is a man of his own principles and beliefs. He neither let anyone question his principles and intrude his territory nor interfere with others sentiments.
agreed 100%... but frankly speaking dear hp..i do feel bad for him by the passage of time... he's many things but at times even he doesn't realize what consequences his actions in others' life can bring.but his every action is for his loved ones.. i sometimes feel they fail to tackle him..n they instigate the worst out of him.. i think this will be one thing khushi will be able to see in time n become closer to understanding him. we saw a glimpse of it in hermit chp.if only there wasn't such a huge communication gap..he wudnt be so misunderstood.but that doesn't mean i support what he does n say..
But when it comes to his blind, devoting love for his sister, all his personal preferences not only takes the back seat but gets nullified. One delicate reaction from his sister... all his anger vanishes and is replaced by terror!!! She is his biggest weakness at present... all his decisions are aimed at his sister's convenience and they are liable to change at any time based on his sister's reception. Sounds very dangerous for the future of Arhasia...
i thought the same.. but her reaction to his decision didnt come as a surprise to me. there was a line from her that i bookmarked when lordy was going for hermit hunting..where she speaks of not ''talking of truth,so bluntly''.. since then i have been sensing somethings about her. too early to talk of it,but i'm sure i'll get a chance in the future. she's much deeper than the person she appears n more fragile than we think.. the fainting thing was HUGE.. gives you so much insight into her character n bro-sis relationship. but yes..undoubtedly,she'll be the one person who'll affect him the most in every-which way.
Another interesting pattern which i observed... khushi brings out the original hidden personility of a person whomever she becomes acquainted with. Be it naniji or Lady La or Lord Arnav... she brings out the reluctant side of them which they were hesitant to show to the outside world or believed that didnt exist in them. I wonder whether this pattern apply to Gen. Jha too?
totally agree. long back i had called khushi's heart ''a mirror'' where people could see the real them. thats what i meant by it. a mirror shows the ''truth'' always. she brings the ''truth of their real being'' out. i think this is also the reason why the author chose to highlight her ''purity'' n ''innocence'' time n again. n this is also the reason why i suspect that the Gen's curse may have returned..he saw what everyone can see..he got attracted to her n the ''beast'' in him ''awakens''. whereas,lordy has been known to be a ''beast'' all his life.. his ''attraction/love'' for her got/is bringing the good in him out.. the ''beast'' gets controlled n ''man'' in him comes to life. see,he never was a bad person..but the Gen always had darker shades to him. atleast thats what i feel for now until,i see something more..*shrugs*.
All in all..a wonderful read dear pal👍🏼.. lots of kisses for ur li'l princess n tight hug for her mom. i was on a break..came just to see if there was an update..but found something equally nice. gotta go now. tc.🤗
