Let me tell you the truth, I was free in office and thought of reading a short story but I must confess that I regretted reading it sitting in office. Because there were so many moments when tears pricked my eyes and few fell freely also and I had to rush to washroom once to cry to my heart's content so as to not breakdown again. But I did. Every chapter had me in tears. I'm glad that my seat is in corner otherwise everyone would have noticed and I am known as someone with quite a solid heart here 😉
Now moving from the effect to the story - it was clear that it won't have a typical Arhi wali happy ending and I am a fan of happy endings but your writing compelled me to read it (and cry silently though). I'm glad that I read it till last word. It is such a heart wrenching story. I didn't cry for Arnav or Khushi alone but everyone who lost Khushi, was mourning her, for Amrita whose life changed after knowing the complete story. I liked Aman, he didn't say anything to Amrita but told her everything when she once asked.
This was a tale of loss and hopes and finding Khushi.
