At Brilliant studios

The atmosphere was fully tensed; everyone was running for their life as an unexpected fire was successful in casting its evil spell at this place

The cast and crew were carrying their lead actor who was severly burnt from head to toe to the hospital… survival was something that could not be assured such was the damage done…

Meanwhile,

Geet's success party was going on at full swing

Everyone was enjoying and celebrating the success but the lady in whose honor this party was thrown was herself sad

Though Geet had not expected Maan's arrival yet a small part of her heart wanted him to be a part of her happiness

She was cursing herself for weaving a dream all over again with Maan's name on it

If she had not done this then maybe instead of a plastic smile on her face right now she would have been actually smiling and enjoying her success wholeheartedly

Sanju: Geet what's up? Are u waiting for someone?

Geet: Yes I was waiting for someone as I felt he might prove me wrong by becoming a part of my happiness but no I was right I am sure he must be busy with a producer discussing the script of his new movie and cashing the huge signing amount that would be bestowed on him. MSK can never change he can only think about himself. What would have he gained by just seeing a smile on my face if he had made it to the party… NOTHING OF HIS BENEFIT right Sanju?

Before Sanju could take Maan's side Geet walked off to the otherside of the hall making her disappointment quite evident

After few minutes Geet got a call on her mobile

It was of Maan's assistant Aakash

Geet: Hello

Aakash: Geet Mam this is Aakash Maan Sir's assistant

Geet: Yes how can I help u?

Aakash: Mam can I talk to Maan sir? His mobile got destroyed in the fire accident and I need to discuss something urgent with him so if u don't mind can u pls hand him your phone for few minutes?

Geet was paralyzed on hearing the word fire

Geet: Fire? Is Maan alright? Where is Maan?

Aakash: Oh he must still be at the hospital then okay Mam thanks for letting me know

Geet: Aakash what's Maan doing at the hospital? Is he fine? Pls tell me in which hospital is he admitted how is my Maan?

Aakash: Relax Mam Maan Sir have succumbed minor injuries and that too when he risked his life to save her life…

Tears flooded Geet's face as she got to know the real reason why Maan could not be a part of her happiness; without a moment's delay Geet walked out of the hall and directed her car to the hospital

Maan: How is she Doctor?

Doctor: Her condition is extremely critical Maan; she is burnt from head to toe if u wouldn't have saved her at the right time then maybe she would have died even before reaching the hospital

Maan: Doctor what can be done now?

Doctor: We are going to operate her but to be honest enough there is no guarantee that we might succeed yet we will try our best. Is there anyone from her family who would sign the papers before we go ahead with the surgery?

Maan: The only family that she possesses is money and fame doctor if u don't mind as a friend I would complete the formalities for the surgery

Doctor: I don't have any problem Maan I will tell the nurse to give u the form by that time we will start with the arrangements

Maan: Can I meet her once doctor?

Doctor: Her situation is very bad Maan; she is herself counting the last moments of her death I don't think she wants to live it seems she has given up hope

Maan: Doctor I would like to meet her once maybe I can help her out in my own small way

Doctor: As u wish

Maan thanked the doctor and got into the surgery gown and adorned the surgery mask as he finally stepped into the room where she was kept

He called out her name

Maan: Naintara

Naintara was finding it difficult to speak with a trembling voice she answered to his call

Naintara: Why did u save me Maan?

Maan: What else was I supposed to do Naintara?

Naintara: There were so many members in the studio yet no one came to help me as they were busy saving their own lives u were shooting in the adjacent studio yet u brought me out at that time when every inch of my body was burnt. What was the need to risk your life for a selfish lady like me Maan?

Maan: If this incident had been taken place sometime back then maybe the selfish Maan would have just cared about his wellbeing but the Maan that u r seeing in front of u today is a new Maan Naintara. Geet's love has changed me to the core and Geet's Maan can never be a mere spectator when a needy requires his help. It didn't matter if something would have happened to me but at that time my only concern was to save the life of an innocent soul

Naintara: Innocent? I guess u used the wrong adjective Maan how can a witch like me be innocent? I played dirty tricks to create havoc in Geet and your life. If today Geet hates you its coz of me and finally God punished me in the most deservable manner by snatching the biggest possession of my life… "MY BEAUTY"

The feeling of self guilt was acting like a slow poison for Naintara and was thus giving her the most painful death

Naintara: I ripped the beautiful relationship that both of u shared and snatched away Geet's priced possession her selfless true love from her for my own selfish deeds. Today I understand the pain that she must have gone through when u left her hand and walked away from her life and she lost the pride of her true love. I was proud of my beauty Maan and today my sins have backfired on me thus bestowing this curse of ugliness on me…

Maan: In every true sense u have turned beautiful today Naintara as the beauty of the soul is far superior than the mirror of physical impression

Naintara: Why are u so kind with me Maan? It's the right time u can curse me; shout at me and accuse me for my deeds maybe then some part of my sins will reduce…

Maan: I forgive u Naintara

Naintara was shocked as this was not what she was expecting to hear from Maan

Maan: Naintara whatever the status of my relationship with Geet is today I am the sole person to be blamed. Geet's love was, is and will always be sacred it was me who failed to understand the importance of this blessing. Roads can be misleading but its we who decide the path on which we need to walk

Maan: U interfered in our life but it was me who disgraced the beauty of my marriage with Geet by walking out of it at that point of time when somewhere or the other I too had started loving Geet but maybe that time I considered my fame, my success, my superstardom status more important than the most blissful relationship of my life… the love of my Geet which is so precious that the almighty himself could bow down to get a touch of its divinity

Maan: U were just a medium Naintara but I was the one who was wrong as my love for Geet was fragile hence I can't blame u. I did the mistake and I will try to recitify my sin till the last breath of my life in order to get back the love of my Geet. I can't put the blame on u Naintara as maybe that time I didn't realize but today I know that no outsider or no third person has the right to come between me and my Geet whatever happened between us is just between us… Our love, hatred, problems, grief, happiness is just between us.

Naintara: But Geet?

Maan: My Geet is a pure gem I am sure she will forgive u too

A huge part of Naintara's guilt got reduced with these few words of Maan

Maan: I mean it Naintara we forgive u

A tear drop rolled down her eyes with this statement of Maan

Maan: We will pray for u Naintara I am sure the operation will be a success

These were the last few words that Naintara heard before the nurse requested Maan to go out as it was finally time that they took Naintara to the operation theatre

He hugged her photograph and tried to find solace from it thus making Geet realize her importance in his life is so much that no matter if she is miles apart from him he will still keep her safe in the folds of his heart… a heart that beats only for her
