He hugs her.

Khushi(hugs her): Ji.Understood. Now u tell me,did u understand what I told u or not?
Arnav(breaks the hug): Khushi,y r u stopping me?
Khushi: Didnt u see how miffed buaji & jiji r with u? Naniji & di hav been patient till now. I feel they understand r situation. Who knows? After u reveal all that,they may also b miffed with u. Arnav(kisses her cheek): I'm sorry! Whatever I said that day.. I really regret saying all that! Trust me!

Arnav: I know I'd hurt u a lot that day. I even threw ur stars on the floor.. I dont think I'll b able to forgive myself for all that I did & said! (cups her cheek)I really dont know.. how could u forgive me for all that I said?
Khushi(holds his hand): I was able to forgive u coz I know that u never wanted to say all that but,u ended up saying all that in anger. And secondly,today u know it very well that I dont want ur money,ur lavish lifestyle,fame,name,nothing! I only want u!
Arnav smiles & nods.
Khushi: So,that's y I chose to forgive u!
She kisses his cheek.
Khushi: Now,should v go downstairs?

HP(from the kitchen): Ji naniji...!
After the soup is consumed by everyone..
Nani: Ya Chhotey. Now u tell us,what happened after that?
Arnav: No nani. Now Khushi will tell u what happened..

Nani: Chhotey how did u come to know that bitiya was about to commit suicide?
Arnav tells her how he found the bag with the stars & note.
Khushi: After saving my life,he told me that he forced me to marry him coz he'd seen me & Shyam on the terrace on r wedding night.
She looks at Arnav who shrugs.
Arnav: Y r u looking at me? Tell them whatever u want to tell..
Khushi: I knew then that he has a misunderstanding-that I love Shyam. I tried my best to clear his misunderstanding but he never listened to me. So.. then.. I thought there was only 1 way to clear his misunderstanding.. asking Shyam to talk to him.
Anjali: Y Shyam?
Khushi: Coz di,he was the only one,apart from myself,who knew the entire truthy.
Anjali: So u thought that he'll help u? Chhoti what made u think like that?
Khushi: I dont know,di. I wasnt able to understand anything at that time. Arnavji wasnt even ready to talk to me. I wasnt able to tolerate his misplaced anger. And I wanted to do all that I could to clear his misunderstanding. When I found all other doors closed,I thought of seeking help from.. Shyam..
Nani: So what did he tell u?
Khushi: He agreed to help me. But he had a condition-I had to get Arnavji's signatures on some papers. Only after I got his signature would Shyam talk to him.
Nani: Which papers?
Khushi: I didnt know anything back then,naniji. But I was ready to do that,in order to change Arnavji's views about myself. So I.. kept the papers which Shyam gave me in between the papers on which jijaji needed Arnavji's signatures. And thats how I got his signatures on Shyam's papers. Then I clicked photos of those papers on my mobile and hid them in a pot on the poolside.
Nani: Y didnt u read those papers?
Khushi: That thought never occured to me,naniji! Later,when Shyam came to ask for those papers,I told him that he would get those only after he reveals the truth to Arnavji. And he readily agreed to do so.
Anjali: That means those papers were very important for him. Otherwise he wouldve never agreed to talk to him..
Khushi(nods): U're right,di. I..
Nani(interrupts): 1 minute,bitiya. I want to know something from Chhotey..
Arnav: Yes nani?
Nani: Y did u sign those papers without reading them? U never do that!
Arnav: There were 2 reasons behind that,nani. First reason was that Khushi had told me that Aakash had given her those papers. So I thought Aakash must've given them after checking everything. Hence I didnt find it neccesary to read them.
Nani: That means u had full trust on Aakash bitwa & Chhoti bitiya. U were sure they wouldnt cheat u! Am I right?
Arnav nods.
Nani: What was the second reason?
Arnav: I was disturbed,nani. I had told a lot of things to Khushi,in a fit of rage,which I should'nt hav. And thats y my guilt kept pinching me me. At the same time my ego was also hovering above me with the result that niether was I able to see Khushi's crestfallen face nor was I able to talk to her. To top it all up,I dont know what came over Khushi? She changed the room completely and made it like it was before r marriage,eliminating the "Khushi touch" from it!
Nani: And u could'nt stand that! U may hav pretended to b angry in front of her,but u knew very well that u were happy that bitiya had made ur room her own.Am I right?
Arnav: Ji nani. Thats y I didnt like when she removed all her things from my room. Again I yelled at Khushi and behaved very rudely with her. I made her wait for a very long time in office. And later,when she tried to talk to me,I didnt listen to her. She followed me right till the car,but I never stopped & listened to what she had to say.
Nani: Still u did not give up,bitiya. Coz it was very important for u to tell Chhotey the entire truth! U were not able to tolerate the fact that Chhotey had a wrong image of urs in his mind!
Khushi: Ji naniji. Thats y,when di told me that Arnavji was leaving for London,I immediately left for the airport. I never wanted him to leave,that too without knowing the truth.I even asked Shyam to come to the airport so that he could explain everything to Arnavji. (sighs)But he came very late. When I reached the airport,I realized that I didnt hav money to buy a ticket. I called Arnavji, rang him up,but he didnt stop.As soon as I mentioned Shyam's name on the phone,he cut the call & went ahead.
Khushi stops briefly to compose herself.
Khushi: I didnt know what I should do? I was standing alone outside when Arnavji came there & gave me some time to prove my point!
Nani: Y did u do that,Chhotey?
Arnav: Coz even I wanted Khushi to prove herself right! I wanted a proof which would tell me that Khushi doesnt love Shyam! Heck! I desparately wanted a proof!
Nani: U trusted an unkown proof more than what ur conscience told u. So,what was the result?
Arnav: The result was that Shyam never came there. And there was a final annoucement for passengers to board the flight. Bcoz Khushi wasnt able to prove her point,I felt like i made a mistake by trusting her,yet again. I was angry on myself & thus I went inside the airport.
Khushi: I waited for Arnavji for sometime,hoping that he would come outside & give me another chance..a last chance..(sniffs) But that didnt happen. Instead Shyam came over there & he asked me to go home with him. I was disappointed & so I left,meanwhile Arnavji got kidnapped..
Nani: How did u get kidnapped,Chhotey?
Before Arnav could answer..
Mami: Ekkuj me pileej.. Sasumaa,bith ur kind parmissan (permission), can I ask 1 question to Arnav bitwa?
Nani(reluctantly): Ya,ask..
Mami: Thank youj,sasumaa! Hello hi bye bye! Arnav bitwa,while I was doing piribate inbhestigasan (private investigation) bit phati saadee, we secretly bent to the security agency aaphis (office). There we saw a bideo(video) where the bilack cait camaandojj (black cat commandos) stopped u. Then the bideo went bilank for sometime.When the bideo came back,I & phati saadee saw u exiting the airport behind them! Bhy did u follow them? And bhere?
Arnav: They took me to their godown.
Nani: But y did u agree to go with them?
Arnav: I had to agree,nani,for Khushi's sake..
Khushi(shocked): For my sake?! What did I do which forced u to go with those kidnappers?
Arnav: U didnt do anything,Khushi.
Mami: Then bhy did u goj? Cam aan,tails us? (come on,tell us!)
Arnav: Even after I went inside the airport,I was restless. I felt that I should hav waited & heard what Khushi had to say.
Khushi smiles upon hearing that.
Arnav: I was about to turn & go to meet her when someone called me..
*flashback*
Man1: Mr Arnav Singh Raizada?
Arnav: Yes?
Man1(hands an envelope): We hav an urgent letter for u..
Arnav(frowns): Who gave this to u?
Man1: Plz read it. U'll understand everything.
Arnav opens the letter which reads: If u want to see ur wife safe in ur house,go with them wherever they take u.Ur luggage will reach ur house. If u try to inform anyone,the result wont b good for ur wife!
Arnav(irked): What the hell is this?
Man2: Speak softly! If anyone has even the slightest doubt on us,ur wife will not b spared!
Arnav: My wife is standing outside the airport! (thrusts the letter in his hand) Whose stupid prank is this?
Man2: This isnt a prank! This is the truth! Ur wife was standing outside earlier. Right now she's at the mercy of r boss!
Arnav: What nonsense!
Man1: Dont believe us? Go outside & see for urself! If u find ur wife there,go home with her! And if u dont,come with us!
Arnav thinks for a moment & then agrees.
*flashback ends*
Arnav: When I went outside,Khushi was'nt there. I tried calling her,but her phone was not reachable. I was scared,thinking that Khushi was kidnapped. And thats y I went & sat with them in the van. One of them made me unconscious. When I regained consciousness much later.. I was in a godown,tied to a chair with ropes bruising my skin..
He looks at Khushi,regret visible in his eyes.
Arnav: I was really angry on myself. Khushi tried to stop me so many times but I didnt pay any heed to her. Had I waited for her to prove herself,I wouldnt have been kidnapped.. Once again,I'm sorry Khushi!
Khushi(holds his hands): U've said sorry many times earlier & I've also told u many times that I've forgiven u!
They stare at each other for sometime.
Mami: Hello hi bye bye,lovebirds!
Arnav & Khushi come out of their reverie.
Nani: Now u tell me Chhotey,how did u come to know that Shyam was ur kidnapper?
Arnav: Nani I..
Buaji: a.. naniji.. If u allow me,I want to ask something..

Buaji: I want to know how Sanka devi came to know that Arnav babua was kidnapped?
Arnav is surprised when buaji resumes addressing him as Arnav babua.
Nani: Tell us bitiya..
Khushi tells the Guptas' everything they wanted to know. Then she answers naniji's question,on Arnav's behalf and tells her how she came to know that it was Shyam who had kidnapped Arnav.
Khushi: Nanheji helped me a lot in finding Arnavji! But Arnavji was the one who gave me the biggest clue..
Nani: How?
Khushi tells her about the note which was there in her gift box,the one that read lard governer.
Khushi: Actually it was the bill of some restaurant. Arnavji had written that message on the other side of the bill.
Arnav: It was the same restaurant from which they ordered food for me. When I came to know that they're sending gifts at home in my name,I distracted the kidnapper by telling him that I needed to eat something sweet. By the time he came back,I'd inserted that bill in Khushi's gift.
Khushi: When I & Nanheji went to that restaurant,we got addresses of two places.Nanheji went to 1 of those places,which was the wrong address while I went to the place where they'd kept Arnavji. While I was informing Nanheji about it, Shyam came over there.
Buaji(makes a face): That wretched man always reaches the wrong place at the wrong moment!
Khushi: He dragged me to his car & forcefully took me away from that place. Then he tied up my hands & feet and left me to die in the middle of the road..
Everyone is shocked to hear that.
Khushi: Thats y I couldnt go inside & help Arnavji.
Arnav: But u did save me,that too before Shyam arrived there,by replacing kerosene with water! Else I would've..
Khushi(interrupts): Arnavji!
Arnav smiles at her.
Khushi: If I saved u, didnt u also save me from dying on that road? Not to forget u got into trouble with those goons while u were untying those ropes..
Mami(tensed): Hello hi bye bye! Bhat haippened aphter that?
Arnav tells her how he fought with the goons meanwhile Lallan pushed Khushi.
Arnav: Khushi's foot slipped and she.. fell into the bush.. in front of my eyes.
He closes his eyes as that moment flashes in front of his eyes.
Buaji: Aye Sanka devi! I hope u werent hurt?
Amma: Its so strange,jiji. Khusi had to go through so much but we never knew about it!
Khushi: Amma,buaji,babuji I'm really sorry! I didnt want u'll to worry about me & Arnavji. Thats the reason I hid all this from u..
Babuji: We understand,bitiya.
Nani: What happened after that?
Arnav: When I looked into the bush,I found an unconscious Khushi stuck between two bushes. I tried a lot to make her conscious.. but she didnt respond at all. For a moment I thought that.. (gulps) I'd.. lost Khushi..
Anjali: Hey Bhagwan!
Arnav: I even gave her CPR but still Khushi didnt respond. Then I.. remembered somthing. And I placed Khushi's hand on my heart with the hope that.. may b she'll respond after.. hearing my heartbeats..
He looks at Khushi and smiles.
Arnav: And that's exactly what happened!
Khushi wipes the tears in Arnav's eyes.
Nani(folds her hands): By the grace of Devi Maiyya even after they went through so much,both r children came out of the trial,unharmed!
Arnav: Nani.. if u dont mind.. Can I..talk to Khushi for 5 minutes.. privately?
Nani(smiles): Sure!
Arnav(smiles): Thanks! (to the families) Excuse us..
He holds Khushi's hand and takes her to nani's room.

The first thing Arnav does after closing & bolting the door is enveloping Khushi in a bone-crushing hug.
Khushi hugs him back,running a hand down his back,trying to soothe him.
Khushi breaks the hugs & cups his face lovingly with her slender hands.
Khushi: I know that.. u were reminded of.. that gruelling day. I also understand how.. hard it must hav been for u. But everything's fine now,Arnavji! We've come far away from the shadows of the past! Look,I'm here with u,right next to u. Am I not?
Arnav nods,kissing her forehead.
Khushi: And I will always stay the same way,with u,forever!(smiles)With u by my side,I'll b safe & very happy!
Arnav kisses her palms one after the other.
Khushi: So now just forget about that bad,gruelling past! Hmm?
Arnav nods,inching his face closer to hers.
He takes her mouth in a slow & deep kiss.
After breaking the kiss,Khushi asks the question which was bothering her.
Khushi: Can I.. ask u 1.. question?
Arnav: Sure!..
Khushi: There's.. 1 more thing..about which.. that we didnt tell r families..
Arnav(confused): What was that?
Khushi: When u'd.. called at home.. and.. u'd told me that.. u love me. Remember?
Arnav nods,recalling his first confession of love for her.
Khushi: Y did u.. say that?
Arnav(frowns): What do u mean?
Khushi: What happened which.. prompted u to.. reveal ur feelings.. in front of me?
Arnav: That kidnapper had placed a gun on my head. I thought that I'll..
He stops and sighs.

Khushi gets teary-eyed upon hearing that.
Arnav: My anger,my hatred was a farce! In reality, even if I want,I wont b able to hate u! I'm just.. incapable of.. hating u! (holds her hands)If all this.. wouldve been true naa.. I mean.. if u really.. loved Shyam.. even then.. I would've loved you and only you!
Khushi: What if I was ur kidnapper?
Arnav(nods): Even then I would've continued loving you! And.. you know what?(cups her face) I cant stop loving u,no matter what!
Khushi smiles & hugs him,thoroughly satisfied & immensely happy after hearing what she always wanted to hear from his mouth.
Khushi: I know! R feelings r mutual! No wonder I kept loving u,even thought I knew that u were engaged to Lavanyaji! And.. even when I had the misconception that.. u love Lavanyaji & want to kill me.. even then I continued to love you!
She breaks the hug & stares lovingly into his molten brown eyes.
Khushi: They say naa? Love is like an arrow which has just been shot. Once its shot it cannot go back to the bow. Similarly,once a person falls in love with someone,he/she cannot fall out of love! That person can deny being in love, hide his/her love, try to ignore it & forget about it,but he/she can never put a fullstop to it!
Arnav(pulls her closer): We also did the same things naaKhushi? When.. we realized that.. we love each other..at first we never believed that it was love! And then.. when we started believing.. that we've fallen in love,we denied it, we hid it,we tried to forget about it! But nothing worked!
Khushi(nods): People hide their love from the world but.. we hid it from each other! (smiles) But love is after all love! Who can tame it? It came out in the open on its own!
Arnav smiles.
Khushi: And now that... its out in the open &.. everything's back to normal.. I pray to Devi Maiyya-Never again should v see sucha day in r lives where in we'd have to decline/hide/ignore or try to forget r love! May Devi Maiyya keep us together forever! We may never hav to hide r feelings for each other! May v always b able to profess r love for each other,openly! May v never encounter any such situation wherein we'd b forced to hide r love behind false hatred! And..
Arnav: Enough! I guess Devi Maiyya got the hint!
Khushi(frowns): What do u mean?
Arnav: Look over there.. (points to the door) U'll know what I meant..
When Khushi turns towards the door,her frown is instantly replaced by a grin.
Arnav: When I confessed my love for u for the first time,on the phone,I thought it was my first & last unusual confession! When I confessed for the second time,boiling in anger,on the terrace,I thought it was my last unusal confession hai! But today I gotta know that.. life never fails to throw unusual moments at me!
He goes to the door & opens it.
No sooner did he do that than Lakshmi ran inside,towards Khushi.
Khushi hugged her and patted her back.
Arnav: This is the speciality of r house! Over here,even if we want to hide r love from everyone,we're not able to do so! Someone or the other always interrupts us by being kabaab me haddi! (source of interruption)
Khushi supresses her giggle.
Arnav: And if r family is busy n thus,is unable to interrupt us,the kabaab herself comes to fill in their place!
Khushi: Arnavji! Dont call my Lakshmiji kabaab! She's so cute & sweet! Arent u, Lakshmiji?
Lakshmi bleats loudly.
Arnav: I know.. She's so cute that.. had it not been for nani & ur love for her... (shrugs) Who knows? I would've actually made kabaab outta her!
Khushi(angry): Arnavji!! Dont say that again,ever! Like I cant hear u talkin about.. ur death,in the same way I cant tolerate u talkin about any of r family member's death! Understood?

Lakshmi bleats before exiting the room.
Arnav(pulling her flush against himself): Now,where was I?
Khushi(winds arms around his neck): Where was I!?
Arnav: Oh! So,where were u?
Khushi: Lost in my thoughts! I was thinking that.. after di's wedding.. (inches her face closer to his)I'll kidnap u & take u somewhere far.. from this place!
Arnav(surprised): O! Really?
Khushi(nods): Really! How does it sound?
Arnav(lopsided grin): Excellent! If u're the kidnapper, I'm ready to b kidnapped forever!
Khushi: Think carefully!The ransom will prove to b costly..
Arnav: I dont care! U can ask for whatever ransom u want!
Khushi: Is that a deal?

Khushi: Okay. I'll ask for the ransom when the time comes! For now..
She pulls him closer by his hair & claims his lips.
