PART - 5
Arnav took Khushi to her room and asked her to sleep. Khushi laid down in bed and he tugged her in the blanket. He was about to leave when Khushi held his hand.
"I want to talk to you Arnav." She said sitting on her bed.
Arnav looked back and kept his hand on her hand which was on his wrist and said
"You look tired now, take rest, we can talk tomorrow."
"No I'm fine please listen to me" she requested.
Arnav nodded and moved back to sit on her bed.
"I trust you and you know you're my best friend and the only person with whom i can share whatever is in my mind." she said
"I know Khushi.." He started but was interrupted by Khushi.
"Lemme complete first." She said "I went to meet Sam not because i don't believe you. Its just that he called me an said that he wanted to meet me for the last time and i wanted to finish this all so i went there but he-- he tried to..." She said and tears started to flow down from her eyes.
Arnav couldn't see this weak Khushi. He was feeling guilty for behaving like this with her whole day. He wiped her tears and said
"I'm sorry, i should have listened to you. You know me, i can't think properly when i'm angry. I'm really sorry!"
He wrapped his arms around her and she kept he head on his shoulder.
"Never stop talking to me! Never!" She said still her head on his shoulder.
"I can't do that" he said
Khushi moved back looked at him and said "What?"
Arnav gave his smirk and said "Don't you know how much you talk, I mean how can you always expect me to ?"
A smile played on Khushi's face.
"Thanks for coming Arnav. Thanks for saving me!" She said.
"No one can hurt you Khushi. I'm always there for you!" Arnav said.
Someone was watching them.
It was payal.
She was worried about Khushi when Arnav called her and asked address. When she saw both of them coming, she went to Khushi's room.
She smiled and said to herself "Only Arnav knows how to make her smile".
"No matter how matter how much they fight, they can't live without each other!"
She smile and went to her room.
Arnav And Khushi decided not to tell about this Sam case to anyone as they worried.
Next Day..
Khushi was happy that Arnav was now talking to her.
She came down from her room. Karan was at home as it was Sunday. He and Payal were watching TV. Both of them were shocked at the sight before them. Khushi wearing a Pink and white Anarkali suit. Khushi laughed at their expressions and said
"Dad I'm going to Shantivan"
Payal and Karan couldn't say anything.
"Okay" It was the only word which Karan said.
Khushi left the house Smiling at her family's reaction.
Khushi was standing on the door of 'Shantivan' and hit the bell.
She was fixing her dupatta when Arnav opened the door and saw khushi in suit, he was shocked and mouth was in a big O. He couldn't believe his eyes.
"Who are you?" Arnav said
"Shut Up Arnav!" she said.
Arnav stood there in front of her, staring. Not able to move.
"If you are done with your staring, can i go in?" She said
Without saying anything Arnav moved out of her way and Khushi went inside.
"Woho...Who are you?" Said Akash.
"Not you too Akash! What's wrong with both of you!" she said.
Akash was surprised too. They had never seen Khushi in traditional dresses. Payal mostly wore simple traditional but Khushi never wore them.
Akash looked at Arnav who was now standing with them and then back at Khushi, confused.
"Oh my God Khushi!" They heard Anjali
"Thanks God you didn't ask who I'm like your dumb brothers!" Khushi said
"You.. you look.." Anjali started when Arnav said "Beautiful". Three of them now looked at him shocked. Arnav never gave complements!
"Someone pinch me! What's happening today? Khushi wearing Shalwar suit and Arnav giving complement!" Said Akash.
"Exactly!!" said Anjali.
"Stop it you two." Khushi said. "Nani gifted me this and she wanted to me see in suit. Where is she? i want to show her."
Nani came down hearing noises and saw Khushi.
"Wow Khushi betia you look lovely in suit!" She said. Nani was happy that Khushi wore this for her.
"Thank you Nani! Look I wore this just for you! Khushi said smiling widely.
Khushi loved Nani, she was a sweet woman and always gave her motherly love.
"I know!" saying this Nani hugged her.
They all sat in the living room. Laughing and enjoying, when nani said
"What we'll do when you will leave us Khushi!" Nani said
"What! Where is Khushi going?" Said Arnav moving his head from laptop.
"Oho Chote! Khushi have to leave someday, when she'll get married" Anjali said getting emotional.
Arnav never thought about her marriage. How can Khushi leave? They spent their whole life together since childhood, he thought. No he can't live without her.
"No Khushi is not going anywhere!" Said Arnav firmly
Khushi too never thought about leaving.How she will live without all of them. What she'll do without Anrav, without fighting with him, without talking and laughing with him?
Akash was sad too, hearing this. Khushi was like his sister and his and Arnav's best friend!
"What are you saying Chote? Khushi'll have to go after her marriage." Nani said not believing Arnav's words.
Arnav was now angry and Khushi noticed that
"Lets not talk about it Nani, I won't leave you guys so soon!" she said smiling, trying to lighten everyone's mood.
