(I really liked how you wrote this part/inner monologue: And for some reason she had the ability to arouse a range of emotions in him. He had been mesmerized by her when he had first seen her. When reality hit him, he had been harsh with her. When she had argued he had threatened her. When she refused to budge he had wanted her to submit. But all along he had given her the chance to explain when he wouldn't have done that for anyone. When she had explained herself, he had wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, however unbelievable her explanation had seemed. When he had locked her in the office, he could have simply watched the results of the swimsuit round but he had instead verified her story. He could have been the ruthless man that he was and left her in the office to rot till the morning for creating a scene on the stage, instead he had come here to let her go.)
