Khushi was checking out her current list of works in her and Arnav's room. She bit the end of the pen while going through her papers simultaneously tucking her hair.
"BHOOH!!!!"
"AAAH!" she screamed. Holding her heart with her palm and panting heavily, she spat back to him. "Arnav, this is not funny, you almost scared me, you idiot".
"Oye Mogli, ab tu itni darpok hai to meye kya karun?"
Khushi rolled her eyes and concentrated back in her list.
Arnav opened her clutch and clipped it side ways. She turned her face and glared at him. Huffing an puffing she said "Tu kyun mujhe disturb kar raha hai yaar?"
"Aise cute lag rahi hai tu Mogli".
"Forget it" she said and again tried to concentrate.
"Tera deewana ka phone aya subha se?".
"Shut up Arnav".
"Itni grumpy kyun hai yaar? Jhagra huya apne kiddo ke saath?"
That's it she just lost it and started hitting him on his head with her papers.
Arnav ducked his head and started running. She ran behind him holding her thick dairy.
Finally after running for about 3 minutes she caught him and pulled him by his hair.
"AAAH! Mogli dard ho raha hai chod mujhe, why you always pull my hair? Because I cannot pull everything of yours Arnav. I don't want to get cursed by your future wife for you not being able to make babies".
She pulled his hair more. "AAAH! Mogli"
Arnav swiftly wrapped his arms around her waist and held her. Giving a winning smirk he spoke "Ab Kya Karegi tu?" (now what will you do?) he gave a fake laugh.
"Utaar mujhe neechy, I swear I will kill you".

Both heard a door knock and he placed her on the floor quickly.
"Uff, kya karun meye tum donoka? Kaam ke time pe how can you do all these always fighting with each other. Grow up kids?"
Khushi setting her hair properly and straightening her crease on the dress "Sir, he was disturbing me when I was reading the list", while glaring at smirking Arnav.
She know it very well he was everyone's favourite.
"Rehne de Khushi, tu bhi kuch Kam nahi hai".
"Sir, you always support him".
Tilak Sir walked out of the room nodding his head. "these too besites will make me mad someday".

Arnav, ab tu mujhe disturb mat kar, check the list we have to go to the party tonight to take bytes. I hate this profession. Yeh raat raat jagna I hate man. I don't understand why all these page 3 parties have different stories all the time?
Arnav while cleaning his lens of the camera said, "tujhe itni problem kyun ho rahi hai? Meye to tujhe hamesha drop karta hoon, aur waise bhi it fun to see hot girls".
Khushi spat at him and smacked his hand with her hand in a friendly manner. "No wonder why you chose this profession. Capturing what all angles god knows in your lenses", she said rolling her eyes
"My lens are blessed Mogli with those pictures".
"Kisi din I will shift delete all you pictues from your camera".
"you cant dear"
"Oh I can"
"You cant coz camera doesnot have shift delete keys dumbo".
Khushi rolled her eyes and said "whatever"

He took out the battery from the chargers and put it inside the camera to switchit on. Browsing through the recent pictures he stopped at Khushi's pic which he took recently and secretly without letting her know. He checked her once and then concentrated in her pics. His camera was filled with her pics. He checked them one by one and admired her secretly. He checked her once again, to his relief she was too busy with his list.

"Erm! I have a news mogli".
"hmm" she said still concentration in her list.
"Erm! I got an offer".
"I know you are not going to join any other publishing house, so kya faida hai?" she shugged her shoulders, not looking at him. "and this is your 10th offer I think in last 5 years. Tu iss house ko chodke kabhi nahi jayega. To mujhe mat disturb kar". (you are not going to leave this house so please don't disturb me now and let me concentrate)
"Erm! Mogli I got permission from Gupta Sir".
Khushi finally looked at him and frowned. "What permission?"
"Leave ka permission".
"Leave? What leave?" she wondered.
"Erm! Mogli I got an offer as a cinematographer in a movie".
Khushi's jaw dropped immediately. Her face became pale. She wondered whether to rejoice that her best friend got a moive offer or to be upset with the fact that he wont be around her for few days.
Arnav tried to read her expression which was coming out as mixed.
"Mogli! Tu khush nahi hai?" (aren't you happy?)
Khushi immediately masked her face and gave him a smile.
Getting up from her chair she walked towards him. In the meantime he switched off his camera so that she doesnot see her pictures.
He stood up and welcomed her in his arms.
She wrapped her arms around him and rested his head on his chest feeling as if something was not right as if she will cry any moment. She has never felt like this in her life.
He patted her in a friendly way and they the broke the hug.
After this news he noted her behavior towards him changed a little bit. She started staying a little aloof and more importantly she was not looking directly in his eyes.

It was almost two weeks that Arnav was on leave. Each day was becoming difficult for Khushi to cope up. She did not know why she became cranky all of a sudden and started yelling at every body in the office. She was categorized as one of the coolest person in the office but these days she was in her worst nature.
She almost spoke to Arnav everyday and tired to message him good night just to be in touch. But after a point she started missing him terribly.

Two three days more passed and her condition was getting even worse.
It was a morning when she reached the Publishing House, she kept her bag on the table and checked her inbox in her BB. Sadly she did not receive any text from him.
She grumpily waited for his call, which never came.
It was almost noon and she was in the verge of crying she angrily picked up his phone and dialed his number. To worsen the situation his phone was switched off.
She threw the phone on the ground breaking it into pieces.
She refused to eat her lunch and locked herself in the same cabin for the whole day weeping and cursing him time to time.

It was a long day for Arnav, same day. It started early morning and ended at around 5pm. He was so tired up that he couldnot give her a call.
In the morning when he went to the studio it was too early for him to call her up and knowing that last night she was out in another Page 3 programme, he did not make himself to call her.
He checked his phone, taking it out from his back pact and noted that the battery was dead. "Shit" slamming his phone, he requested some guy in his unit whether he can give a call.
Finding Khushi's phone dead he gave a call to his find Atul, from whom he came to know about the whole thing. How she was upset for somedays and how she skipped the lunch and misbehaved with others.
He kicked his bike and made his way towards the Publishing House.
After parking the bike he went inside the building. Meeting almost everyone on the way he want straight towards their room.

Khushi was packing his bag preparing herself to leave, when she saw the door open and he was standing. For a second she felt like jumping in his arms and hugging him but then she resisted herself.
She turned her face and clutched her bag.
"Aye Mogli, going home?
"Ya"
"come I will drop you".
"Koi zaroorat nahi hai, I think you are very busy".
He raised his eyebrows hearing that comment from her.
"Sorry yaar Mogli, I had to leave early today, got a call pretty early you know. So I thought I wont disturb you"
"Ya I know, I am sure you must be really tired shooting your actress for such a long time. So now I don't want to disturb you. you better go home. I will go myself".
Khushi was about to open the door when he leaned against the door and shut it down.
She looked at him with are-you-crazy expression.
"Mogli, why do I smell jealousy?",
"hah! Jealous? Of what?"
Arnav started taking steps towards her and she started moving back.
"Jealous of that actress?"
"My foot, why will I be jealous?"
"beaucse I was shooting her and not you. That's why".
"Why will you shoot me? And whatever I don't care".
"Oh really?"
She did not realize that she was almost going to hit the wall behind her.
"Yap" he said cutely.
"Please move I have to leave now".
"Mogli, what did you ate in lunch?"
"Haan! Who'..well yaad nahi hai" (I don't remember) she stammred.
"Yaad nahi hai ya kuch khaya hi nahi?" (you don't remember or you did not eat since morning?" he said in a very authorative tonne
"tujhe isse kya? Tere paas to ek phone karne ka fursat nahi hai". (how are you bothered? You don't even have time to call me right?)
He smiled and said "Chal lets go out and eat bahar"
"No, I wont go with you" she spatted.
"Why?"
"My wish?"
"Kyu Mogli?"
"bas mann nahi hai".
"shut up and leave this childish panti right now Mogli".
"Tum jao na Arnav, why did you come at all?"
That's it. She just couldnot control her tears anymore
She knew she lost the battle, she knew it wont be able to control herself if she stays for a single more second in front of him.
She pushed him and was about to leave when he grabbed her hand and twirled her around holding her nape he pulled her towards him.
Her tear filled eyes, her flaring nostrils, her quivering lips, he missed nothing.
"you missed me so much Mogli?" he asked in a polite tone but a husky tone.
Khushi looked at him helplessly, "damn the tears" she shouted on his face.
He tucked her hair and cupped her face, "you missed me?" he said brushing his warm breadth against her lips.
"I''''..I did not". She stammered.
"Mogli!" he called lovinly
She closed her eyes.
"I missed you a lot" he said it.
"jhoot".
"I did"
"Lier"
"Moli"
"you did not miss me at all" she said hurt evident in her voice.
"I really did".
"then why did not you call me up? Do you have any idea what I am going though since you have left, Arnav?"
she pushed him. He looked at his bestie smirking realizing the effect that he has on her. He was sure that aag dono taraf hai.
"you don't even care to check whether I had food or not. You were so busy with you hot actress".
She tried to push him once again but this time he held her hand and pulled her towards him.
Their lips were inches apart "mujhe nahi pata tha mujhe itna miss kiya jayega". (I did not know that someone will miss me so much)
"You are a duffer" she said and started weeping badly.
He smacked his lips on hers without any intimation and smooched her hungrily. She gave it back to him equally with all her frustration and loved that she has grown and stored within herself.
He rested his forehead on her and said, I am sorry Mogli, tujhe meine rulaya hai (I have made you cry).
"Arnav I did not know that I'''''..can miss you so much". This absence has made me realize your worth in my life".
He hugged her and kissed her head. Me too Mogli. I think I am in love with you.
Khushi punched him in a friendly manner on his chest and said "you still think?"
He smiled and said "I love you Mogli".
