Hello guys ! Back after a long break it seems. Anyways my exams are over and Alhamdulillah all went fine. Pray for me guys. Chapter 1 is here as a treat.

Chapter 1 '

Arnav was sitting blank, not knowing what to do. Aman, Akash and NK giggled at his expression.

NK - Don't worry dude. As you are a nerd and you don't have any experience in these things, we will help you.

Aman - But the help will only be for a kick start. Rest, is in your hand.

Akash - So, come on guys. We will help Mr Nerd to kick start the mission...

NK - Wooing Miss Haughty.

Arnav gulped and they laughed.

Four of them were proceeding to the canteen.

Akash - Dude, to make her fall for you, first you should observe her.

Arnav - WHAT???

Aman - Yes! Observe...OMG what a hot chic.

Arnav - NO!!!

NK - Urghh! Fine! Just observe...how well mannered girl she is...so sweet, polite and respectful...

AAAHHH!!!!!

Four of them looked up see a guy tumbling down, and, near him stood the girl most feared by the boys,

Khushi Kumari Gupta.

Khushi - How dare you try to flirt with me you moron!!! If I see your ugly face or your dog like stares any time near me, then, I will make your face in such a condition that your own mother won't be able to recognize you. Got It! Idiot!

Everyone gulped.

NK - Dude...um... you don' have to worry...huh? Arnav? Dude?

Akash - Where did he go?

Aman - There he is running, catch him.

They rushed behind Arnav who was running for his life. If ever Khushi comes to know his intention, then he will be dead for sure.

Aman - Hey!!

They caught up with him and held him by his shoulder.

Akash - What the hell! Why did you run dammit.

Arnav - If ever she sees me...

NK - So what? She doesn't know anything.

Arnav - If she comes to know then I will have to bear everything.

Aman - Of course you have to because if you ever say our names then you will have to accept our gift too.

They glared at him and he looked up miserable.

Akash - Now, be cool and go to your class. She will be waiting for you.

NK - We will also join soon.

Arnav looked horrified and they giggled. He went away cursing the trio under his breath.

Arnav was about to ener the classroom when he saw Aman talking talking to Mr Jay Malhothra, their class teacher. Jay was very young only a few years older than them, hence was very friendly with everyone. He had close connections with Aman 's gang since he was a close family friend of Aman. He saw them smiling and smirking at each other. When Jay saw Arnav, he smiled an unusual smile at him. Arnav smiled back confusedly and went to the class.

No one understood anything when Jay made the boys and girls stand separately.

Jay - Guys, I have always thought that combine study is a very effective method. So I have planned that from now on the students will be made into groups. Each group will have a boy and a girl. I have already made the groups, so I am gonna announce them. The partners will have to sit together, Okay so the groups are...

He announced the groups and...

Jay - And the 12^th group is Akash and Payal and 13^th is Nand..oops NK and Lavanya. 14^th group is Aman and Priya and that leaves ARNAV and KHUSHI.

Both Arnav and Khushi look at each other. Arnav now understood why Jay smiled at him. He cursed Aman.

On the other hand Khushi was not at all happy to be with a nerd. The only good thing she saw was that he will only be interested in his books and not her.

Jay - So guys please be seated.

Arnav and Khushi sat together. He just turned his head to look at her. She was not giving a damn to him. He didn't know how the hell he was going to woo her.

He saw 'the gang' eyeing him to talk to her. He gulped.

Arnav - H...H... Hi! Arnav Singh Raizada.

She gave him a cold glance.

Khushi - Did I ask?

His lips were shut.

Shantivan -

Anajli sensed that something was troubling her Chotte. She could make out from his face.

Anjali - Nani, don't you think that something is troubling our Chotte. He is lloking very worried.

Nani - I too noticed it. Better you ask him. He never hides anything from you.

In Arnav 's room -

Arnav closed his books and leaned on his chair.

Arnav - Oh God, why such things are happening only to me?

Anjali - What things Chotte?

Arnav - Di...

Anjali - Don't try to hide anything from me. Tell me what is troubling you.

Arnav - Nothing Di...Its just that I am tensed. Its the final year and...

Anjali - You are a terrible liar.

Arnav stopped and stared at her sheepishly.

Anjali - When you feel like saying, come to me, okay?

He smiled. She smiled at him and left.

The next day in Excel College -

Arnav was at his place when Khushi entered and sat beside him. He didn't dare to say a 'Hi'. She didn't care about him.

There was a frenzy when the Teacher entered and finally everyone settled down.

After the class,

Teacher - Students, you all have to prepare projects on this chapter. I will be asking questions based on your project. The marks of this project will be counted in you assessment. Also, the marking will be done in groups. So your partner 's mark will also affect you. Therefore you have to mentor your partners who are weak in this subject. You have ten days time.

Saying so, the teacher left.

Arnav was very much worried. He was sure that he will be able to score an 'A'. But he didn't know about Khushi. He can never risk his grades with anything. He looked at Khushi. She was packing her bags.

Khushi - What was the need for him to give this project. Now I have to sit and work on this stuff with...

She looked at Arnav. He looked at her with a miserable expression.

Khushi - Take that look off your face!

He immediately stiffened.

Khushi - Are you planning to make me do this project stuff all alone?

He nodded a 'No'.

Khushi - Then take you books and come to the library and for God 's sake at least open your mouth say a 'yes' or 'no'.

Arnav - Uh...um..Okay.

Khushi - Hmph...

Arnav stroded behing praying to save him from this "God knows what creature".
