This was the talk that was doing circles in a small village of Lucknow where Khushi sat as a stone.
Not probably because her husband died but thinking she'd have to go back to her step mom. She shuddered even thinking of it.
She'd miss her husband... he was a kind man... he treated her like very kindly. His first wife died two years ago leaving him with five children and a large household. He needed someone to manage his house since his daughter got married so thus he married a 19 year old girl.His eldest daughter didn't like her much but now that her father died she is probably worried Khushi will ask for a share in the property thus bad mouthing her.
Khushi couldn't care less about the family.
She'd love to be on her own and earn her own living but alas a widow working outside house and earning is quite unheard of in this part of the country.
Widows now-a-days don't require shaving their heads and such formalities, her step mom didn't shave her head when her father died but now she insists that khushi has to do it. She saw in her dream a wise man telling her and now she insisted.
Bullshit!!! She knew it was her scheme so that she runs away and doesn't claim a share in the almost non existant property.
Just then Devyani Raizada entered the place. She'd come to visit her ancestrarial place after almost ten years. Last she came here Khushi's mother had died. She's wanted to take her to Delhi with herself but neither Khushi nor her father wanted to let go of each other. She didn't force.
As soon as she entered sheesh mahal she asked the caretaker there how is Khushi?? When she heard her woes she immediately rushed over.
She wanted to take Khushi with her to Delhi. She lives all alone with her grandson who stays outside more than at home. How long does a person like staying alone? If Khushi is there atleast she'll get company and also save her from the evilness that is her step mom.
so she told Khushi's bua that she'd like to take Khushi with her and she readily agreed.

In one night she was shifted to Sheesh Mahal and within two days she found herself in Delhi.

"namsate sasuma aap Lucknow se thik se wapas aa gayi?"
