That Diwali and the scene, no IPKKND fan will ever forget and you my dear have weaved that into to the fabric of the this update, very well.

Khushi - is not confused, she is testing waters (f I am allowed to use that phrase) she likes Nkay and is attracted to Arnav. She is dealing with this the best way she knows. I understand her reaction to Arnav and her outburst at NKay. She is not sure about both so would want to take it one step at a time. I like her more for this, she is not misusing her independence but savouring it sensibly. Her anxiousness, fear and eagerness, all relatable.

Arnav- I am unable to place in here, he is attracted to Khushi and is aware of all the trappings that are attached to her and pulls back in time. I found his wanting a drink and a woman, so ASR like. I have to know more about him to pass judgment. I cannot not like the guy, but have to know more.

NKay - was putting his best foot forward as he wants to settle down in life and sees Khushi as that person who fits the bill for himself and his parents. He may really be in this relationship and Khushi is not, he has to understand that and his reaction to her irritation was a bit hard to accept. Just because he likes Khushi, there is not hard and fast rule, she too has to reciprocate the feelings with same intensity.

Story moving in the right direction and I have my boarding pass clutched in my hand.

In the matters of love and very often the other L-word that goes with it, one is always exaggerated in his or her reactions. The tussle too great for rational / sane thinking

Can I blame any one of these people? I don't know. I would be giving them very different pieces of advise if I were any of their friends.

NKay is adorable but sadly human nature tends to overlook the person who gives without asking. And this I know from personal experience in various fields of life. The unattainable, the one that generates curiosity, the one that makes you jittery and unsure, is always greener.

Till you grow and be wiser - usually post facto and after a lot of pain

Great chapter, K. And not just because it beautifully recreates the magic of Diwali.

There are two types of stories I like - ones that make you think and ones that make you feel. This one has my mind always in overdrive. I love it!

Wow the tension build up is just so endearing.I will always love jaadu hai nasha hai for this.

You redefined it in your own way and it be so "dhak dhak" .😳

Loved this chapter.

Love how realization, intimacy and feelings are woven together to take your story ahead.

Oh, what a tribute! All the magic of the Diwali episode with the addition of the hip belt - cherry on top! That particular sequence was very will written. I don't do emoticons very often, but here you go : 👏

Arnav is every kind of attractive - handsome, mysterious, rich, charismatic, chivalrous, intense; not your usual chocolate-boy, but very Mills & Boons - the forbidden fruit. I will not blame anybody who feels a momentary attraction towards the man, he's just one of those guys. But I guess with his experience he is aware that this is just attraction, lust - he is not confused and his mind will not demand any introspection. Unlike Khushi, who is a novice and very innocent, she will have to learn to draw lines, compartmentalize, sort out her feelings - that little war between her desires and values.

I thought she was a tad insensitive to NK, I get why she was uncomfortable, but she need not have reacted that way or called him a "shameless flirt". This is not to say I'm fond of NK - let me be very honest, his almost saccharin behavior isn't exactly appealing. Arnav too spells commitment issues and heartbreak; but I understand this is a premature conclusion.

I am intrigued, because I can guess yet not quite guess what lies ahead. Please update soon?

So I decided to make a troll and to my surprise I missed 2 updates. Beautiful updates NB... I love them all. Mama always said marry the man that loves you and not the one you love.

Nkay is an honest sweet guy and I'm sure he will make Khushi very happy and they may work out if Mr. ASR is nowhere near them. The problem is that Khushi is quite inexperienced and she's been paying special interest towards Arnav way before Nkay asked her out. I am not happy with the way she dealt with him by the poolside. It makes it quite clear that she has no romantic feelings for poor Nkay.

I have a feeling Arnav is only going to end up hurting her. Khushi never seemed this attractive to him before because she was unattached. Now that Nkay is showing interest he, Arnav is all set to have her. I really hope she keep her head on and not make a fatal mistake.

Sorry K but I don't like this Arnav at all.
I don't know babe, but ASR gives me the hibijibis😕
Nkay is a sweetheart and I think he should steer clear of Khushi and the drama that awaits him.

i was on the edge throughout the update.. I am not sure I m ready for a lot of heartbreak :).. I can see couple coming in.. one would be NK's and another Khushi's.. as Arnav doesn't feel anything for her other than lust I guess.. because he is not envious of her belonging to anyone else.. or he is confused.. and Khushi's feeling for Arnav goes a bit deeper though she doesn't realize.. as she was worried unknowingly of what Arnav thought of her and NK's current relationship status..

Oh man.. I am have to be strong to read next updates ;)

I understand Khushi's reticence and tentative feelings about NK...she doesn't want NK she wants Arnav...mysterious, sexy, older and dangerous Arnav...who can break her heart if she lets him. But she doesn't want to want him...knows she shouldn't want him...but she wants him...sigh.

And for Arnav the attraction is palpable. Brilliant inclusion of the Diwali scene: that scene made the show: it had everything one could want to illustrate a deep attraction between a beautiful man and a beautiful woman. I can see it'll be the beginning of Arnav avoiding a burgeoning attraction between him and Khushi and possibly Khushi understanding where her true feelings lie...and with Arnav avoiding her by hooking up with other women, she'll be truly fighting between her heart and mind...

Can't wait to see how this progresses...

That was a rocking update . You could cut the tension with a knife that was between Arnav and Khushi !!!!! Wish NKay did not have to interrupt that moment :( The undercurrents of the attraction is slowly and steadily getting stronger day by day 😊 Khushi being an innocent and naive is not able to realise what those feelings are and Arnav on the other hand is consciously trying to stay away knowing she is dating NKay .

You have no clue woman about the kind of anticipation with which i have read this update.

Diwali, red Saree, hip belt, diyas, bandh gala, with each passing word my dil was going dhak dhak.

I was watching the entire diwali episode all over again, you wrote that well.
