She stood in front of the building named 'NK designs head office' with a confident and determined self. She had crushed even that little bit of nervousness what left was just the thought about what was coming next in her life.

She was finally going to take the first step to move on. A new life and fresh start was waiting for her and slowly she took that one step towards her new life. Where there is no place for love at least not know when her heart was terribly hurt by that betrayal. It was only two months ago when he left her..breaking her heart.. ..

Almost one month ago she had come to India knowing well that staying in London will never let heal the wounds on her heart.

Her only goal was to forget his memories...it was only when she came to India did she realise her mistake in past when she had broken her relationship with arnav just for being with him. This gave her a hope to mend things between her and arnav and to move on in life...she didn't know if she loved arnav or will ever be able to but thinking that if arnav comes in her life back she will be able to forget him. She decided to go back at him and ask him to come back in her life...to give her a second chance. She was really desperate to move on..she could not let herself fall more and more in the circle of those hurtful memories...

that day when she stood in front of his office she had asked herself

Was she doing right ?

Did he still want her and will accept her ?

Mostly, did she want him?

Her hopes were broken when she entered his cabin.

She now knows the answer of her first two questions which was same a big 'NO' that was not right. She now just hoped to never meet arnav.

As she entered the office the site in front of her amazed her...

NK designs though not maybe as big as AR designs or KASHYAP fashion house but it was nothing less.

It has many branches and offices all over india and some in other countries. NK designs was started my Naman kumar and is now headed by his son Nandkishore kumar known as NK. The head office in delhi reason being the family belonging to delhi.

Naman kumar was retired from work long back but held immense power still now and his son had to take his approval before taking any big project or signing any important deal. Lavanya's interview was taken by naman kumar himself as at that time NK was in Mumbai for some important deal. Since this was the post of the secretary of head of the company he could not take any risk. He had found lavanya the perfect candidate and so he selected her as his son's new secretary.

Lavanya glanced at the office in front of her...it was huge...not big enough like kashyap fashion house head office or AR designs head office but it couln't be said small.

Not that lavanya had not come here before but it gave a different feeling...it was strange...her heart beat was increasing as she took steps forward and she felt the same feelings that she felt for him but this time the feelings had more positive vibe in them..this was different... And this new feeling unknowingly made her smile a little without any reason in particular.

She reached the reception and was asked to go to the big cabin on the left and in no time she was here in front of the cabin which had the name plate of the managing director on it. She knocked and a calm and somewhere sweet voice according to her of a man obviously her boss said 'come in' and she opened the door and entered and the first thing she noticed was the difference in the difference in the interiors of the other office and of this specific cabin. All the office had the interiors in yellow and white colours even naman sir's cabin but this specific cabin was green with white in colour..

NK who was sitting there reading a file looked up and at the same time lavanya also looked towards him. Their eyes met and for some time they couldn't look away and were just lost in each other's eyes but soon they came back to their senses and then lavanya greeted him. "good morning sir" and NK replied that with a smile and asked to take a seat and so she sat on one of the chairs opposite to his.

As khushi walked towards her cabin her thoughts went back to what happen few minutes back. How she was feeling nervous and restless. Nervous she could understand was because it was her first day at office but restless she could not understand. She didn't know why something was going to happen like she was going to meet someone related to her...who mattered her. She didn't know who.

Then how arnav was unusually talking to much while they were on the way to office. He never used to talk so much...but she was thank full that he did because it helped her get distracted from the thoughts that she might to something wrong and maybe her morning dream may come true.

Before heading towards his cabin arnav had told her that a new design team has been appointed and they will assist her in preparations of designs and all of them are designers. She will be their head as she is appointed at the post of head fashion designer. This added to her responsibility and her nervousness. she was afraid...will she be able to handle so much responsibility. He had told that they are two guys and three girls in her team out of which one guy and girl are designers from the company with which they are working. And that the head of that company will start working from here after some days and so for now only three people are there in the team the other two will join after two days.

The three persons which are here now are pia, madhu and virat. he made her meet them and then told her the way to her cabin.

He could not escort her to the cabin as he had some important meeting for which he had to go.

Nandkishore kumar has always been a joyful and friendly natured guy. He is capable of easily making friends and treated his employees as his family because whatever he is not each of his employee and his or hers hardwork contributed to his and his company's success...this is what he has always believed.

He had been informed by his dad that today his new secretary will be arriving. His dad was praising the girl's professional skills and experience. He had also seen her file and was impressed but one question could not leave his mind.

Why was she working in such a small design house and also at the post of secretary when she has worked as a model in the past ?

When he had asked this question to his dad he had replied that this is due to some personal reasons and we should not interfere in her personal matters and that she is perfect to be his assistant so he should not ponder over such questions. But still he didn't know why he could not take this question out of her mind.

When lavanya entered the cabin he felt a strange feeling a feeling with he had experienced before only for her...it was definitely strange he had never thought that he will feel as such after she left.

When he looked up and his eyes met lavanya's he didn't know why for sometime he just couldn't look away and keept staring in those orbs of hers.

Khushi looked down at her table and the first thing that caught her eye was a yellow rose and she picked it up with a puzzled look wondering why it was her and then she found a pink paper underneath the rose. She picked up and unfolded the paper and smiled a little.

In the note it was written

Hey paagal, Good luck J

But reading 'paagal' her mouth formed a perfect 'O' shape as she remembered the day he had given her this name.

happy holi i am really sorry because i know it is a short update and doesn't have much of arshi but this is just part (a) and i'll try to give more of arshi of maybe arnav's pov and some were asking for it in the next part. waise bhi la and nk are important in this story.

i could just manage to write this much now but i promise to try to update as soon as possible. also sorry for the late PM's i had some interenet problem.- gunj 😊
