I can well visualize arjun's wild rage and fury to see riya in such a pathetic condition.. her screams to drive off people around her even when she's not in her senses was totally heart-rendering. After finding riya, you shifted the focus entirely in arjun and riya or else I would have loved to see shree receiving an earful from his team for helping riya in her reckless plan. But then these lines,

Arjun strained his ears to listen to her, and the last words that left her lips, threw him off balance.

As he saw her slowly drifting away into unconsciousness, her voice reverberated in his ears; 'Arjunnn Sirr.. Aap aa gaye..'

He stared at her immobile form and quickly wiped a lonely tear that was threatening to fall off his eye. She trusted him.. Even in her sub-conscious state, she was hoping that he would come..

Yaar these are so powerful..enough to shake anyone to the core and throw him/her off balance.

It's tragic that arjun had to take riya to HIS home in such a situation, the "home sweet home" that had once belonged to him and roshni and held so many memories for him, both sweet and bitter, so much so that in his own words "roshni ki jaane ke baad yeh deewarien mujhe kaatne ko daudti thi" later on. Arjun's reactions to riya was well understandable coz even though he's a khadoos, sadu, akdu guy ,but in reality he loved and cared for riya and that kept surfacing every now and then in his actions and gestures (even offering roshni's dress to her ) but the very next moment, his anger over her recklessness and the strict officer in him took over and he again got back to his stubborn self. As for riya, she was too much shaken up and bewildered particularly coz she couldn't remember clearly what actually transpired after she was drugged and her ripped clothes and scratch marks all over her body made her feel more miserable. Riya's emotional outburst on arjun's supposed indifference was well done and was actually needed for once, to get the truth of his feelings out from the man himself. When arjun threw her on the bed and locked the room, I was like WT*? but the next update cleared all doubts ..arjun had indeed confessed his love to riya, in front of roshni's pic, and even placed her on an equal pedestal with roshni. Honestly a confession like this is worth a 1000 clichd ILUs. These lines were truly outstanding:

She winced in pain when his fingers pressed roughly against her wrist; she looked up stunned, attempting to read his face when he spoke up, "Dekh rahi ho isse, Roshni? Iske liye, tum mujhe chodkar gayi na? Isske sahare?"

He jerked off his hold on Riya's wrist; she wasn't prepared for it and fell on the chair behind her.

She looked up startled when he mentioned her.. Tears welled up in her eyes when his words slowly started making sense..

Arjun gritted his teeth, " Isse apni jaan ki parvah nahi hai, toh yeh meri fikr kya karegi?"

Riya parted her lips to speak; but to her surprise, no words left her mouth. She looked on helplessly, as her vocal cords seemed to be paralysed.

She saw Arjun fall on his knees, in front of Roshni, "Suna na tumne, kaise yeh bhi marne ki baat kar rahi hai.. Mujhe chodkar jaane ki baat kar rahi hai..

Iss ladki ko andaaza bhi nahi hai, ki agar isse ek kharonch bhi aayi, toh main sab kuch jalakar raakh kar doonga!"

He tugged at his hair, "Aur yeh hai ki marne ki baatein kar rahi hai.."

Riya's discomfort with arjun around her in the room was fun, and one thing I would like to add here, I can actually visualize the great ACP arjun painting walls of a house..i mean, it's such an avi worthy scene, hope we do get to see something like this in the show too..maybe during an undercover mission. And the arjun-rathore midnight convo was so heart-warming ..goes on to show rathore's importance as a friend and well-wisher in arjun's life. And even if you hadn't explained in details in your Ariya conversation in the later updates, we would have well understood the reasons behind the rift.

The morning scene was another heart-warming moment when arjun disclosed to riya that he had been to his own house after three years since roshni's death..and her comforting him. and then riya's gardening plans ..she's already accepted the house as her own and started planning her future life in it, with him.
