Chapter 4

Rathore, Shree and Chotu were just coming to the SUV when what they saw astonished them completely. Rathore was happy that finally Arjun had started laughing again, though he also wanted to know how come this miracle happened. For their part Shree and Chotu stared at Arjun with disbelief,

"Chotu pinch me, kahi mein sapna to nahin dek raho houn," Shree told Chotu.

"Hain Yaar, muhje bhi kuch samaj nahin a raha hain! Muhje bhi pinch karo!" Chotu replied. Both pinched each other, and also yelled at the pain, yet they were still seeing Arjun laughing.

Arjun couldn't control his laughter at all, and was thinking that Riya was completely unique and she was sometimes too funny. He didn't see when Rathore, Shree and Chotu had come close to him and how they were looking at him with incredulity on their face. However Riya had seen these three approached and she also was quite under the shock.

"Ri, what happened? Why is Arjun laughing? Did you give him a laughing portion or what?" Shree and Chotu teased Riya.

"I myself don't understand why he's laughing," she replied. She herself didn't understand why Arjun was laughing, and she could hardly tell them about the missed kiss and the kiss on her cheeks. It was too personal and private thing to disclose to anyone yet. She wanted to savor the kiss on her cheeks for some time before telling anyone, besides she knew if she told them anything they would continue teasing her and even Arjun. She somehow knew that Arjun wouldn't like if she told them about it, afterall he was a very private person and never shared his feelings with anyone. So she kept quiet about everything, and continued to gaze at Arjun laughing so heartily.

After some time, Arjun finally couldn't laugh anymore, and his stomach was hurting from having laughed so much, and his eyes were also filled with tears' That's when he actually remarked four people gaping at him as if he was an alien.

"Rawte, what happened? You and laughing??? I wonder from which side the sun rose today," Rathore said.

But Arjun, being a private person, didn't like sharing his feelings to anyone, and hence completely avoided the topic and started talking about the case.

"So what happened? Why did you call everyone of us outside?" he asked.

Rathore hated when Arjun didn't answer his question, but he could hardly persist or force Arjun to answer, and so unwillingly took the lead and started to narrate everything Shree had found out, and that there was a big possibility that there was a bomb in the stadium.

"We don't know where it is, nor do we know how much time we have got before exploding. Shree has already informed the bomb squad and they will shortly be here for helping us. In the meantime, we must continue our investigations and look out for some further clues to help them." Rathore continued.

"What do we know about this Leo and the previous bombings which happened?" he asked Riya.

"Well Leo is like Shree already mentioned, only an arm supplier, and thus he loves creating uproars and disasters and inciting nations to fight. Apart we don't have much information on him. He has been seen in all recent bombings, hence his being linked to them. We do have something to help us however if he has really placed a bomb here. He has only one way of operating. He always uses time-bombs, but how much time we have I cant say, and also he keeps the bomb in bags, school bags actually. I don't know why he does this, but in every bombings the bombs were placed in school bags. Hopefully he has done the same thing here also, and unfortunately that's the only hint we have," Riya replied.

Everyone was trying hard to remember if when they were inside they had seen any bags, suspicious bags, when they saw a few SUVs coming towards them, the bomb squads were here.

The senior came forward to introduce himself to Rathore and have a brief on the present situation. Rathore told everything he knew, and presently everyone was paired with an ETF member and they all went to look for the bomb.

Riya was paired with a very young guy, he was a new recruit from what she could see. He was very talkative and they soon made a very good pair since she also liked to talk. His name was Mihir, and she was giving him a big smile, when suddenly she felt someone dragging her from behind for a few meters. When she turned it was Arjun, " Why do you have to talk so much and smile at him, have you forgotten that you are here for work and not socializing," he whispered angrily to her.

"I can't talk, I can't smile! Aap pagal to nahin ho gaye hain kya?" she replied angrily and went away. She returned to Mihir, and then both of them went inside the stadium and started to look for the bomb.

Arjun was getting shocks on shocks every day now, Riya no longer listened to him, she didn't pay any attention to him, and he didn't like it at all. "Where was the Riya who admired him, who wanted to become like him," he silently thought sulkily. Presently he went on with his partner also to find the bomb.

It had been a few hours now, and still they couldn't find any bomb. They had searched everywhere, inside the lockers and each room, and also on the ground field, yet nothing till now.

"Maybe we are wrong, and there wasn't any bomb here," Riya said to Mihir, she was getting pretty tired now and till now no one had seen anything suspicious. Suddenly she again felt that she was being observed like before. She saw that she was again standing where she was earlier in the morning when she had felt being observed. This time she had a feeling she wasn't hallucinating at all, and really something was wrong in this corridor. But they had already checked all rooms annexed to it, and didn't found anything or anyone, then what this strange feeling she was getting was. She motioned to Mihir and signed him, and asked him silently if he also felt that they were being observed. He also accepted feeling something like that, but they themselves had checked everywhere, and hadn't found anything.

Suddenly they heard a noise, someone sneezed. But they didn't see anyone.

That's when Riya thought to look up and heard again someone sneezing, they had a false ceiling up, where all the extraction and air conditioning systems passed. She already guessed that someone was up there, that's why no one hadn't found anything nor anyone till now. However before she could alert anyone, suddenly someone jumped down from there, and pointed his gun at them.

Arjun had also been checking everywhere and still nothing, he was starting to lose his control, and was very exhausted. He checked with the others if they had found anything like he did every half and hour. However this time when he tried to contact Riya, he didn't get any answer. he tried again after five minutes yet nothing, this time he was getting worried a bit. He contacted the rest of the team, and asked them if they had talked with Riya recently, and when they all said no, he immediately told them that he couldn't contact her at all. He asked where she was supposed to check, and asked Shree to locate her on the GPS from her phone number. However her mobile was off, and she couldn't be located. They all rushed to the area she was supposed to check, and when they reached there, they were shocked to see Riya's earpiece and phone lying on the ground, and also Mihir's body lying nearby. Shree rushed to check Mihir's pulse, but it seems he was only unconscious and nothing else. But Riya was nowhere to be seen.

"RIYA" shouted Arjun at the top of his voice. Silently he vowed that he won't let anything happen to her ever.
