Khushi half-choked out her reply. "Me and him?"

"That is what I just asked." Amy looked at her expectantly. Khushi felt a surge of anger as Arnav's image occupied her mind once again.

"I'll tell you what's going on - he's an arrogant, irritating, confusing idiot!" Everyone turned to look at Khushi, shocked at her outburst. "The only thing 'going on' between us is mutual hatred!" Anna started laughing all of a sudden.

"Mutual hatred? Do you even know what that is Khushi?" Khushi looked at Anna, confused. "This is not hate Khushi. In fact, we're all sure you like him." Khushi's eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

"Are you guys crazy?! Why, what on earth possessed you to think I like him?" She made a puking face.

"Okay, if you're so sure you don't feel anything for him why can't you say his name?" Sarita piped in. "You're acting like a typical Indian housewife, blushing like crazy at the sound of his name."

"WHAT?! I do not blush when you mention him!" Khushi subconsciously touched her cheeks, earning smirks from everyone in the room.

"Mention who?" Amy asked.

"A..." Khushi all of a sudden felt too nervous to say his name, afraid that someone would pick on her again. "Ugh, you know who I mean!"
