"Leave my hand angad!" he obeyed but pulled her closer to him, his hands on her waist, his other hand cupped under her chin forcing her to look into his eyes because he knew they were the only thing that she would ever believe.
Kripa moved her face to the left side not wanting to face him not wanting to look into his eyes, they made her weak and she did not want to be weak, and especially not at this moment. Angad moved the back of his hand up her cheek, sending a chill down her spine, then down her neck making her tremble head to foot, he kept pulling her closer. Kripa tried to get away from him she struggled to free herself from his grip, she put her hands up to distance herself from him, "don't touch me!!" she said this with so much sadness in her voice that angad was taken aback, he let go of her. She backed away from him her eyes filled with neither anger nor fear, but with love and saddness.
"Kripa…" he reached out to touch her to comfort her.
"Don't touch me!!" she said going back even further.
"Ok, ok I won't, I am sorry." kripa sat down on the floor resting against the wall and burst into tears, her head hidden in her lap.
"Kripa…" angad, went to her, got down to his knees touching her shoulders comforting, "I am sorry…I didn't mean to…"
Kripa leapt to him, hugging him tightly, angad just held her for a while, so what if he hadn't ever given her happiness he would always be there to wipe her tears. Kripa fell asleep in his arms. He picked her up and laid her down on the bed. He just sat there a while running his fingers through her hair and admiring her beauty. He lifted her hand and placed them on her stomach. One of her hands was scrunched up he picked her hand up into his and examined it he could see a piece of paper, slightly sticking out. He opened her hand slowly, prying out the paper carefully. He opened it up it was a letter.
I am sorry angad,
I know that by the time u receive the letter I will be long gone from ur life. By the time u receive this letter we will no longer be together, I will be in a place where no one can find me. I never believed u, I always doubted u, blamed u for the death of so many, sent u to jail, took ur family away from u, destroyed ur career, I destroyed U.I transformed u from the sweet angad to someone no one would ever recognize. I have hated u for so long angad I don't even know if I have any love left, how can a person like me ever love, I do not ask for forgiveness because I know my crime is to big to be forgiven. I do not ask for punishment b/c u I know could never punish me enough. I will punish myself, u suffered for 7 years angad when u did not do anything. I will suffer all my life, by staying away from u, all I will have is the memories of the time we spent together, I wanted to be with u for the last time on the farm, after that…I will never be there to destroy ur life. I do not deserve u angad, don't look for me after I am gone. Start ur life all over, happiness awaits u. U will never see me again, good bye KRIPA.
A tear fell from angad's eyes on kripa's hand, "No kripa, I won't let u get away from me so easily." He removed the strands of hair from her face and kissed her cheek, placing the letter back in her hand.
