It all makes sense now!! The letters began at a very important time of Arnav's life...the death of his parents. He may not feel bad for his father but his mother's loss was traumatic for him. His so called friends are such saruuu man...dost saath detay ha😡i. Nothing puts it all together than this sentence --"the word friendship had lost all its meaning in the process." This is how Arnav transforms to ASR.

Hmm, he did read the letter many times but hopefully he will reply. And if Khushi's nickname is Jalebi then what is Arnav's nickname?😆 I hope Khushi helps him fill those loneliness holes.

That's what I expect as a reader too!

Btw, I think I need to clarify what I was trying to say (not good with words😆). What I meant is that showing him enjoy his life with his mother (i.e. race) and then see the pain as he loses her provides an insight to how Arnav shuts himself to the world (i.e. quieter and less involved in school stuff) . The letters are obviously the STORY but the backdrop provides a strong foundation, I'd say. Anyways, looking forward to the next update! 😊

Great update..
Arnav suffering for his father s deeds..the interesting thing to note here was that when you consider the two scenarios, one being arnav being ignored by his friends and schoolmates because of a scandal that had befallen his family, and in the other, though La was reprimanded for misbehaviour , how khushi follows her to stand out with her claiming to be get best friend and that this is what best friends do..shows there are people in this world who will stand by you no matter what but Arnav was too engrossed in his popularity that he might have missed out on true friends..
The letter was beautiful..simple and precise with a hint of shyness to it..Arnav s tears at those lines he read again,"I know you must be having a lot of friends..." was understandable, considering that once upon a time, not so long ago, he had thought the same before tearing up the paper..and the fact that some how our miss jalebi realized it, makes them seem so much like how soul mates are described to be..

I am sorry that i missed a couple of chapters due to some problems but now i have read all in one go and i really liked them

Yeah having a friend is a greatest gift of god who stands by u at bad times and loves u for u only and not for anything else loved it awesome update and thanks once again for all the pms receive and will be receing n the future for this and ipk

Great story! Very different. I'm a sucker for childhood friendship turn love type of romance. I can't wait to read the next chapter.
