I seem to have missed this somehow, but this is just to say that you are absolutely right in what you have said here. There is no need for even the slightest bit of sympathy for a coldblooded killer. We have too much of this sort of thing these days - stabbings of ex-girlfriends, shooting their new boyfriends or husbands, the latter in the wedding mandap itself at times, it is awful. We cannot have any empathy or understanding or sympathy for such characters.

Dear Tina,

This is quite realistic. Mohit has now reached the stage when the fact of killing a human being does not matter to him any more that swatting a mosquito, and in some cases he enjoys it as well. He is now exactly like a cornered wild animal, and that is when he is the most dangerous. I wonder how many more unconnected people will lost their lives before this maniac is caught.

Even then, he will not be hanged, as he richly deserves, which will rid the world of a monster and save taxpayer money. This will be because his lawyer will trot out the diminished responsibility argument , citing his mental condition, and the Indian taxpayer will have to pay for keeping this chap alive for the rest of his days. Even if he escapes from the asylum and murders a couple more people. No wonder they say the law is an ass.

Tina dear, I do understand the problems in handling so many FFs and updating regularly. But if there are gaps that are so long, readers like me lose the whole thread of the story. I see that you understand this yourself, whence your little preface. It might thus be better to do just one or two FFs at a time, and avoid such long gaps.
