You painted such an unbearable agonizing picture of what happened ...when he came himself to douse the Agni in the havan kund of their planned nuptials, and closed the doors of the house behind him...with a finality...what must Khushi have gone thru?

I am not clear if he found out that Khushi was pregnant or not? If he did know, i guess it made no difference and if he did not, does that at all help the situation?

Payal vented eight years of emotions with a vengeance. He wants Khushi to chase away the darkness from his life and wants to be a father but does he deserve either? Will anything absolve him? The imaginary of a house of spirit that does not want him and his discomfort there was perfect.

This story has made me realize the plight of unwed mothers in Society, specially in India where there is such a stigma. In western societies it is accepted but still has its hardships.

Will we ever find out what Khushi thought about who should bring up her child? If Khushi is their child, is it an accident that she ended up with Amrita or what Khushi wanted?

She died because of the baby you planted inside her. She went to an Ashram in Shimla to give birth to the child you would not acknowledge. She died there, struggling to bring on a little life that you never wanted. You went to get her too late. You decided she had suffered enough only when she was already gone. Too late."

Oh my gosh. This made my heart hurt. Khushi really did sacrifice so much for him. He doesn't deserve it. At all. Completely loved Payal's part and agreed with her. I think this is the saddest chapter I've read so far. Crying. WOW. This was just so depressing!

I freaking love your Payal! You can literally hear her pain, regret, and love for her only sister.

And even though I feel bad for Arnav I can't help but agree with Payal. If Khushi isnt breathing then Arnav has no right to either.

Like I've said before, this is a beautiful story. Continue soon !

I am speechless... Words r not enough to describe how beautifully written this update was... Seriously i loved n felt every single word payal said... How truely she analysed the things... She didnt even excussed herself ... Felt more bad for khushi... In how much pain she went through... I had tears in my eyes while reading her sufferings... Simply beautiful ... what makes him think that he deserves this child if she is his daughter
after what he did to another khushi did ya really think you deserve her
no never dude
wonder what will happen next
i hope to god that he does remain alone because he dont deserve anyone with him ever

Great chapter. I must say that the technique you have used in expressing both sides of the coin in your story is engaging - each chapter going back and forth to explore what actually is right or wrong and what should be done; one minute, I'm rooting for Amrita (and Pradeep), the next I'm rooting for Arnav, and now after reading Payal's point of view, I am resolved to see this child rooted as she is. well done!
