Well, MIRAGE is a fantastic fan fiction. Read all the chapters in one go like there is no tomorrow. Beautifully written and connected all the dots well. Words of appreciation cant do full justice to your writing. You were marvellous.
The Arnav you have presented to us, I disliked him initially for his brutal murders, for his short temper, for his egotistic behaviour. But once his past was revealed, my heart ached. There are many Arnavs like him in this fateful world. Whatever a man is now, depends on how he was treated in his early days. Poor Arnav, he really made me cry. Although he was a criminal & deserved nothing but punishment, I can't find myself giving more pain to his wounds.
Kushi, the bravest girl, loved him like none. She was the medicine to all his pains. Really love makes you do things which you haven't dreamt of doing in your entire life. This is true in Arnav's & Kushi's life.
Aman, although he irked me when he was betraying his friend, I felt pity for him that he was in a crossroads, whether to choose his friend over family. Everyone has a dark side in this world & a really good side. You portrayed it well.
Khalid bhai- I really didn't think he is going to be what he was in the end. The initial chapters portrayed him to be a man with stone heart. But guess, I was wrong. He is sweet. He lived with the memories of a girl who he didn't even know had any feelings for him. Hard to find a soul like him.
Aarti- The typical mother. Wanting to save his boy even risking her own life. Her own mistake did all the damage. But how she came up in her life made me look up on her. Being a single parent is never an easy one. She was the reason why Arnav has a heart that is not like Abbas.
Abbas- I HATE him.
Lavanya- what is friendship without believing & trusting or giving atleast a chance to the girl to defend her side of story. I found her immensely annoying at times. I feel pity for the years of friendship she & kushi had go down the drain.
Raizadas- bunch of highly valued people. What ever it is, your own people matters before soceity. People around us don't stop speaking even if we are being all good. The way they have treated their own blood, something which I despised. Not necessary for them to accept Arnav with open hands after knowing him as criminal. But atleast giving him what he deserved would have been good. Only Nani met my expectations. I didn't like Akash.
Overall, a fantastic ff, an entirely different one. First time I found a gangster story so engaging and beautiful. Thank you so much for giving us this fine work. Thank you again.
