"Really?" She asked looking at him searchingly. "No... you are just saying this for me to feel better."
"No sweetheart." He said softly nudging her nose with his. "You know whenever I think about our first meeting, I feel so glad that you had pulled up the courage to come to me and ask me not to marry Payal. You know what would have happened otherwise? I would have agreed to marry Payal and you would have been my Saali today." Arnav shuddered at the thought. "Payal and I would have never shared a bond similar to what we have Khushi. I can't imagine how life would be without you. I can't imagine surviving one day without you. You are the best wife I could have ever got and do you know how much Nani loves you? And Akash... he owes his entire life to you, he practically worships you as his Bhabhi. If not for you sacrificing your whole life, he would have never been with Payal. You have made our lives brighter Khushi, just by being there in our lives. You don't have to take extra efforts for it."
"How dare you Arnavji?" Khushi sat up glaring at Arnav who looked at her puzzled.
"What sweetheart? What did I say?"
"How dare you say that I sacrificed my life?" She shot at him.
He sat up, "Khushi I just meant that... Actually... I..."
Khushi hugged him tightly. "Arnavji I love you. Whatever reasons we married for no longer apply. You are right, I am very happy too that I had the courage to come and ask you not to marry Jiji. I too can't imagine being without you."
Arnav caressed her hair and they sat in each others arms for a long time until Khushi let out a long yawn.
"Khushi I think we should go down and sleep now." Arnav said.
"No Arnavji, I want to sit here for some more time." Khushi protested.
"Actually Khushi, if you fall asleep, carrying you from the study to our bed at home is quite simpler than carrying you from this terrace to the bedroom downstairs." Arnav winked and she looked at him with her mouth open.
But before she could say anything, she yawned again and then smiled at him sheepishly, "Yes Arnavji, let's go and sleep."

Arnav raised an eyebrow. "You know the Kidnapper is not answerable to the victim."
"I am NOT a victim." She declared with a flash in her eyes. "I want to know what is going on and that too RIGHT NOW."
"Whoa! Yeah alright your highness. Just relax okay?" Arnav controlled his laughter taking in her expression. "We are just going away for a couple of days. You have been so busy and tired, I wanted you to relax for some time."
He didn't realise when he started moving closer to her. Khushi cupped her hands, collecting water in them and then splashed it on Arnav's face, driving him even crazier. He grabbed her waist and pulled her flush against his body, revelling in the intimacy. Khushi looked at him surprised by his sudden action and tried to gauge his mood. As he leaned forward and his lips opened on the wet skin of her shoulder, all noble thoughts of waiting for the right time, Khushi's age and whatever else, evaporated from his brain. He slid off the strap from her shoulder and kissed hungrily along her collar bone, neck and shoulders. Khushi was stunned and frozen momentarily. She felt as if her brain had gone numb and at the same time, her entire body had come alive at the same moment. As Arnav's hands moved along her spine, Khushi shivered and wrapped an arm around his neck and cupped his face with the other hand tugging him. He took the cue and came up to claim her lips. She moved her hand into his hair then and kissed him back, their bodies on fire. Arnav's hands moved along her waist and slid inside her top making her gasp against his mouth.
He had never touched her like that and the rain and their wet bodies made the feeling even more electrifying.
"Khushiii..." He groaned huskily against her jaw, making her knees wobble. He gripped her waist tightly and she grabbed his arms for support at the same time.
"Arnavji..." She whimpered as she continued to create havoc on her senses. She had her eyes tightly shut but as his hand again moved inside her top towards her mounds, she opened them wide, not expecting him to do something like that. She turned suddenly taking him by surprise and tried to move away feeling shy.
He pulled her back roughly against his chest. "Please Khushi... not today." He barely whispered and began licking the water droplets off her back. Khushi had hoped that Arnav would one day close the distance between them but now that he had started it, she was extremely nervous. She didn't want him to stop yet she was extremely scared of what would be following.
