back to college when he realised that kriya had left but with a note to swayam...he heard his heart break again. Its one thing to break up , get dumped but its quite another not to be able to see your loved one again.

And the note brought a fresh question to his mind ' was Dance her only real passion??

what does he do????? he has no clue...and the person with whom he shares stuff, swayam, is apparently the one whom his girl finds better than him?! But he continues to be to swaym-sharon what he has always been ' a true friend.👏

But avoiding the whole episode like it never happened isnt possible, not in fromt of those who think the world of him. The part when he tells the gang that he got dumped has been one of my favourites. And he adds, hes fine, he doesnt want to talk about or let it affect him anymore..so guys, please ...

he doesnt want his low mood to affect his friends. his depression beginning to show obviously, he tries drowning in RDX wedding preparations! This guy just post his break up is getting ready to arrange a wedding!!!!! ⭐️

when swayam tells him not to hate kriya for what she apparently did, he replies without bitterness as if saying i cant hate her even if i want to but i just wish she liked me enough to share her problems if she had any. I wish i knew what happened.

on one hand he wants to know the reason - to salvage his hurt ego. on the other he s telling RDX he deserves to be alone. the confusion between the confiident REY , heartthrob of the college vs the guy who was told his weakling friend Swayam is far better than he can ever be!

and the worst part- theres no kriya around to feel, to question. whom should he lash out against?!

his frustration just builds up inside.😭

the efforts of his friends to get him interested in other girls backfires bcoz unlike swayam , they dont realise he needs to be alone, he needs his space , he needs to heal from inside , he needs to know he can be okay without kriya like he was before. What perhaps they still didnt understand when they look for someone like kriya is that he s changed.

He s not the guy who had the hot happening dude title stuck on him when he wanted to be chabilal- he s not the guy who became a leader becoz everyone expected him to be one- he is not the guy who took his popularity with girls casually. He has changed ----to a more mature person.

His breakup with a girl who mattered has made him appreciate what he has- the adoration of his friends, the popularity with girls- he can handle it now. He s a leader now bcoz he wants to do stuff even beyond him.he isnt about to take things for granted.

while it was sad to see a serious rey, his transformation was worth it. he does try being normal like helping vicky pacify neha but thoughts of kriya keep comming in .

he needs time... to smile again. or maybe he needs a reason. his reason turned out to be a silly, hyperenthusiastic, sweet girl who according to him is WEIRD.

So where were we? Yup Rey smiled again- first after kriya left - wholeheartedly when taani enthusiastically says to him and swayam ' nahin nahin aap sab tho hi hello dude yeh sab bolthe ho na! She looked so silly saying it and he laughed ...at her of course but he still laughed.

She s still a funny weird creature when he find out that she was the physical form when he was dancing to dil se re and had kriya in mind. For him he had felt kriya around but the embarrassment he feels is bcoz he realises it was swayam s sister .what would swayam think of him? He apologises only to add that he doesn't want her telling anyone about it.

Strangely Rey doesn't get as angry at taani for cheating them about her dancing abilities ' he seems to understand why she did what she did- she desperately wanted to belong ...be a part of something. He s more worried about what to do to bring her upto mark so that his credibility is not lost- he chose her in the first place. His image is also at play- what will ppl think of me if i m wrong in this???? Why doesn't he tell swayam? He s becoming more independent, more alone.

For sometime i had thought i was justifying things bcoz i liked rey but when rey 'vishaka fight happened about AGS- rey says something that makes his previous behaviour understandable--- just bcoz u had a tough time doesn't mean everyone should. So what if she s new, she still deserves to be given a chance.

why do we say he forget kriya?

Would rey before Kriya have said that????? Doubtful- though he was always supportive of kriya through swayam or directly, he never extended it to beyond her . now he OPENLY stops his friend s from ragging, tells them off strongly if they break rules , takes a firmer stand on everthing. not yeh bhi teek hain-woh bhi teek hain. the hero!

And he does just that- gives her multiple chances to catch up on dancing, saves her from being sandwiched between Swayam and Sharon and the gangs taunts/neglect. the first time he actually teaches her dancing...he s happy. So happy that the whole gang thinks kriya s back. Why s Rey happy teaching Taani to dance???!!!!

Taani s busy admiring rey shamelessly when he s teaching her how to dance ! ( i found that cute but i know lot of ppl didn't like it) but rey hardly notices it, he s professional when it comes to dance and he has no personal interest in taani. of course shes sweet but for him she s the 6^th dancer he chose who doesn't know how to dance.

But inspite of it he s happy when he dances with her ' its funny really. Unlike Sharon who avoided dancing when upset, he has danced in indiafest and after that but teaching taani makes him happy . for me it meant he rediscovered dance ' dance for rey before kriya was just that DANCE, when kriya was around, it was somehow or the other , for good or bad related to kriya, when kriya left a part of reys dance left with her. Cant we imagine when rey dances- he must ve felt kriya like in dil se re...in a way even his own dance was tainted with some sweet -bitter memories.

With taani who by now he had begun to consider as cutely weird, dance was new. Rey is surrounded by ppl who know as much dance as he does, he s been ditched by someone who danced better ? as good as him , in his mind he was even used for dance points?? however difficult it is for him to believe it.

And now he meets someone whos new to dance- a clean slate for him to write on. He can train her up , and taani s so keen on pleasing him that she gives him 100% attention. Dance suddenly becomes new , he rediscovers his own dance , one that is fresh, unrelated to dazzlers/weaklings and kriya. and taani is so far behind the gang in dance that she doesnt remind him of anyone.

Hes happy- he smiles with his heart...and when swayam wishes the reason for his happiness to hamesha stay with him, slight guilt develops ' its swayams sister after all but as all his happiness vanishes when the gang thinks that kriya s back, his guilt disappears.

and he continues to teach taani , apparently for the 6^th dancer but also for his own happiness.

its amazing to me how he manages to keep all his relationships seperate- him being upset with kriya doesnt spill over to her friends even at the getting over stage. and neither does it affect him teaching taani dance.

his healing process begins with the dancing tuitions to taani . it isnt taani which was his dawaa, it was the DANCE.
