PART 3- WORDS UNSPOKEN to where she had found it.When Khushi gained consciousness, she was still in the backseat. The monster was still driving the car. She lay limp, not wanting him to know she was conscious...not wanting to make any conversation with him if she could avoid it. She lay still, closing her eyes, praying to her Goddess. The car screeched to a halt. The driver seat opened, and Shyam's voice floated through the window. "Oh Khushiji... I really don't like seeing you in this state, but what choice did I have? I couldn't just let you got to London after how hard I worked on delaying meeting Saale Saab at the airport. Anyway, you shall obviously stay put. I will be right back after uh, CLEARING something." Khushi's blood boiled. She should have known Shyam had delayed on purpose. She peeped out of the window to see where they were. She didn't recognize the road. She didn't care; she just reached for the handle and tried getting out. It was locked. She groaned in frustration and then, her fell on the phone between the driver's and passenger's seat. She grabbed it and hit the first number that hit her mind. At London. As Arnav searched for Khushi at the Heathrow airport, his cell phone rang from his pocket. He thrust his hand into the pocket and pulled out the phone, but he didn't stop searching. As soon as he saw the name of the caller, he came to a dead halt. Why would SHYAM want to talk to him? "Hello?" he said coldly into the phone. "Hello? Arnavji?" The voice he heard relieved him, but the relief soon turned into anger. "Khushi? Nani didn't tell me you were coming with SHYAM to London. Where the hell are you and don't you dare lie to me that Shyam isn't with you! I saw the caller ID and I know you are calling from his mobile." "I-I am not in London. I didn't take the flight to Delhi. I just wanted to say-" she stuttered. "WHAT?! Where are you Khushi?! How come Nani doesn't know?" he thundered. "Nobody knows Arnavji. I don't kniw either about where I am. That is why I called you. Shyamji-" He cut her off again. Blood roared in his ears. "Nobody. Knows. That. You. Are. With. Shyam?" he said through clenched teeth. He had heard nothing else except nobody knew. "No, Arnavji listen to me! It is not at all what you think-" "I TOLD YOU BEFORE KHUSHI! I DON'T WANT ANY BLOODY JUSTIFICATION FOR YOUR LOWLY BEHAVIOUR!!!" "Arnavji listen to me-" "And you think it is funny don't you? You call me from Shyam's phone... That too because no one else knows you are with him? So you chose to tell ME! How low could you sink so low Khushi? Not even four days since I have been gone and you-" "ARNAVJI PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!" He could hear the tears in her voice; they are fake... She knows very well to act innocent, he told himself, "You know what Khushi? I don't want to listen anymore. I don't care whether you are here or there...It doesn't matter to me." With that he cut her call and pocketed his phone. He clenched his fist and shut his eyes, wishing for the pain to go away. He suppressed the part of him, the naive part, that told him that her tears were real. He had seen her himself... With his own eyes... And he was Arnav Singh Raizada. He could not be be deceived. Khushi stared at the phone in her hand. Weeping softly, she slid the phone back Cherishing those days before his coldness she drifted off into the oblivion of slee where she found it after deleting evidence that she had called him. What had SHE done? What had he seen? When will he know the truth... Very soon Khushi...very soon. :) PS I cannot tell u what ur positive comments mean to me.
