Chapter Four

Kripa watched him walk away. She turned her face away in a huff. What does he think that I~{!/~}d fall for him, fool! As she was thinking about it, she was sure she saw a glimpse of something.

Kripa opened her mouth to scream as she finally saw it but her throat went dry. It was a huge black fox looking at her. He sniffed his nose as it moved toward her. Kripa looked at Angad who was going back. She froze there; she cursed herself, why didn~{!/~}t she go with him. The bear moved toward Kripa, she had heard if she pretends to be dead, it~{!/~}d leave her. She can~{!/~}t even pretend what if it ate her if she let her breath away. She was too nervous to move.

Startled, she felt someone~{!/~}s hand covering her nose and mouth, it was Angad. The bear came too close, Kripa wanted to scream but she stayed their eyes fixed on the bear.

Angad put one arm around her waist, lifted her slowly backed away, with one turn around, he broke into run, ran as fast as he can. Kripa shifted her position and hugged him. After 10 minutes of running, Angad slowed down. He look back to see, there was no sign of bear.

~{!.~}Kripa~{!/~} he called for her in a calm voice as if she is the most precious thing he ever held. She clung on him tightly. She hugged him more tightly. Angad let her embrace him; it was the most wonderful moment for him that he couldn~{!/~}t deny he had in his life. Yet at the same time, he felt there was something wrong in her, the desire he had seen in her eyes reflected the anger for something, something she wanted to achieve by hook or crook.

Kripa suddenly let go of in embarrassment, she reminded her self not to get too close to him, and she was here for something, ~{!.~}I I am sorry~{!/~}.

Kripa looked up to see him grinning at her, ~{!.~}I know ladies drool over me but you showed me your true colours so quickly.~{!/~} Angad teased her.

Kripa~{!/~}s face flushed, he looked extremely handsome yet she couldn~{!/~}t deny it herself but she still hated him.

~{!.~}Excuse me! I don~{!/~}t drool over men that too like you? You think you are handsome? In your dreams?~{!/~}

Angad looked at her with glint in his eyes,~{!/~} now stop try making excuse, you see the bear even left me and he went after you!~{!/~}

~{!.~}Oh shut up~{!/~} with that Kripa stormed off by herself while Angad smiled to himself and catched up with her. Nevertheless Kripa was too stubborn she walked faster than him leaving him behind.

~{!.~}I think there might be a bear ahead, you better stop unless you want to get yourself eaten!~{!/~} Angad wanted to laugh at her.

Kripa quickly turned around as she heard the word ~{!.~}bear~{!/~} and waited for him to catch up with her. She looked at him angrily, ~{!.~}Shall we go now?~{!/~} she asked with gritted teeth.

~{!.~}Sure~{!/~} Angad laughed. Kripa gave him a killer look. Angad looked backed away as if ~{!.~}easy girl, chill!~{!/~} He laughed to himself. He wanted to enjoy the moment, let is like be forever; with his Angel, love of life.

Angad and Kripa walked by side by side in silent, waiting for each other to break the silence. Now as Angad looked at Kripa who was lost in her thought with a frown on her face thinking about something. She just looked like little girl who was scolded by her parents?

What does he think of himself, I falling for him? That fool doesn~{!/~}t even know what I am here. She reminded herself she was here for a mission and to do that she~{!/~}d do anything to get to her position. Yet he was giving the chance and she wouldn~{!/~}t let it go that easily. She frown thinking but that~{!/~}s what he want, falling for him! No, she does not want to let him win; she~{!/~}ll play her own game. She smiled.

~{!.~}What are you smiling about?~{!/~} Angad asked breaking the silence between them.

Kripa looked at him and smiled. ~{!.~}I was just wondering, we just met and fought for nothing. How silly is that?~{!/~}

Angad laughed. ~{!.~}True, but why do you say that?~{!/~}

Kripa stopped and looked at him. ~{!.~}I don~{!/~}t know how to thank you but today you have saved me a lot times and look at me, fighting with you for no reasons. I apologize for my behaviour~{!/~}

~{!.~}Don~{!/~}t be!~{!/~} Angad said softened tone as he moved toward her. Angad felt his heart jumping up and joy when she talked to HIM about her feelings, he liked it. He wanted to be a part of her in any way.

Kripa felt her throat sudden when she felt him close; she felt her jump when she heard his voice? Why? Now as Kripa put a smile on her face and looked away. Angad smiled.
