Chapter 3: Harvard!

"Hey, what's up and how's work?"

"Good! I just got a transfer promotion!"

"That's amazing!"

"I'm now the GM of the Delhi branch of Diva Fashions!"

"That's wonderful! So now you owe me a treat!"

"I know! You'll have to wait for that though. Anyway, Stel and Steve are going out to Bon Apetite tonight too. Would you mind if we double?"

"Not at all! If you want."

"I love you! I promise we will go somewhere more private tomorrow!"

"It's okay, if you want Stel and Steve to join us then it's fine!"

"Okay, but Stel still has to ask Steve."

"That's fine; let me know as soon as you find out so that I can book the table accordingly."

"Sure baby, I'll call you soon."

"Hey Stel, what did Steve say about doubling?"

"He thinks it's a fabulous idea, now that you've been promoted to GM of Diva in Delhi!"

"Well, you guys deserve a treat."

"Steve and Stel are coming!"

"That's great sweetheart. So are you going to give them a treat?"

"How'd you know?"

"I know you better than you know yourself."

"Oh really?"

"Really! Khushi Gupta!"

"It's Khushi Gupta Singh Raizada, Mr.Raizada!"

"Fiesty! Alright baby! Anyways, you might want to call Liya; she really misses you. Tell her a good bedtime story while you're at it okay? Love you!"

"Great, but I really miss you mommy!"

"You want to hear a story before bed?"

"Yes!"

"Once upon a time, there was a greedy prince who wanted a lot of gold. Then one day a fairy came and granted his wish saying, "Everything you touch with your thumb will turn to gold!"

"Wow! What a great wish!"

"Oh, but it wasn't!"

"What do you mean mommy?"

"The king went around his castle touching everything even his castle turning it too gold. Then went his beloved daughter came home after playing with her friends, the king wanted to give her a hug. When he hugged her, the princess turned to gold!"

"Aww! What happened next?"

"The king called out to the fairy till she came to him. Then the fairy said, "You wanted gold, you got it! Greed caused you this loss now suffer without your child!"

"Then what mommy?"

"Then the king said, "I'm sorry, I don't want all this gold! I just want my daughter back!" Then the fairy responded, "If you give all your gold and wealth to the people of your kingdom, I will turn this gold statue back into your daughter!" The king didn't waste a second to decide, "I will do anything to get my daughter back!"

"Did the king lose everything?"

"Except his daughter! So the moral of the story is, don't be greedy!"

"I will never be greedy!"

"Stel, this is my husband Arnav."

"Hello, I'm Stella and this is Steve."

"Hello Arnav!!"

"Hello Mr.Ross!"

"You guys know each other?" Stella and Khushi curiously asked.

"We used to work together."

"Arnav how come you never told me you know my boss?"

"Because, I didn't know you were working with Steve. Anyway, shall we sit?"

"Yes."

A: "Please call me Arnav. And yes, Khushi and I knew each other since."

S: "That's nice! Steve and I met at a mutual friend's birthday party. We've been dating for five years today. But I want to hear about Harvard; I always wanted to go there, but at that time I couldn't afford it!"

A: "At first we hated each other!"

K: "We fought almost every day!"

A:"You know I miss that!"

K:"What?"

A:"Our fights at Harvard! Do you remember how we use to fight infront of all our friends?"

K: "Totally! They never had a clue what we use to say to each other! Do you remember the time you snuck into my dorm to wish me a happy birthday?"

A: "Ofcourse! We had just started to begin liking each other! Aur tumhe birthday wish karne ke chakar mein, mujhe kitne dat kani padi thi! (I got yelled at so much for trying to wish you a happy birthday!)"

K: "How can I forget? Rose was so mad!"

A: "I never liked her! She got me in trouble when she knew I was dating you!"

K: "You deserved it!"

A: "Then why did you stop her from hitting me with the baseball bat?"

K: "I. . . woh mein toh bus. . . (I was just. . .) I thought. . . We weren't dating then. We were just friends, and I couldn't see a friend of mine getting beat up by my obnoxious roommate!"

A: "Obnoxious is right! She was horrible! Messy, rude, loud, and paranoid!"

K: "She actually thought you were going to try to kill her!" Khushi burst out laughing.

A: "Not just kill but rape too!" Arnav also started laughing!

S & SR: "OMG! That's hilarious!"

K: "Stel, that's nothing! Rose called the cops once! She hated Arnav! At first, I liked her, but when I began dating Arnav I also began disliking her. She always tried creating misunderstandings so we'd break up!"

S: "Why didn't she like you?"

A: "Like I said, she was paranoid! She thought I was going to rape her when I constantly snuck into their dorm to see Khushi!"

K: "Arnav was restricted from entering our dorm! Thank god Sara, Rachel, Josh and Zayn were true friends! They always helped us find way to meet!"

A: "Rose was a paranoid woman who didn't understand that I had true feeling for Khushi!"

S: "We all could see that!"

The food arrived.

"Well Khushi, this was a great dinner! Thank you and Congratulations again on your promotion!"

"Thank you, sir!"

"What flavor?"

"Huh?"

"You said you wanted ice cream from Ben 'n Jerry's. What flavor?"

"Really? I want . . . anything you want?"

"You know what I want." Arnav smirked making Khushi blush.

"Behave!"

"Fine! Anyway, how's chocolate?"

"Sounds great!"

"By the way, did you call Liya?"

"Yeah! I did and I told her a story too!"

"Good! Now let's go home! We leave tomorrow!"

"I totally forgot! We go back tomorrow! I'm going to miss London, Stel, Steve, and Ash!"

"They'll miss you just as much!"

"Two years flew by so quickly! I came here depressed about what I lost, but I'm leaving with a ton of happiness!"

"Khushi, I'm happy you're learning to move on; he's gone and we have to move on!"

"You know baby, when I told Ash about the reason of my depression, she told me that maybe he was never meant to come into my life!"

"Khushi, you know there is a chance we could try again!"

"Can we go home first?"

"Does that mean you'll think about it?"

"Maybe, now let's go!"

Some people were confused and so I though clarification is needed:

Arnav and Khushi call each other Baby.

Khushi calls Liya Baby as well.

Arnav and Khushi call Shyam and Anjali, Di and Jiju.

Ash calls Arnav and Khushi, Di and Jiju as well!
