CHAPTER 8
Khushi typed out the letter to mr sharma saying why akshay could not make it to his party and then she dialed arnavs office number to check if the meeting was on for today she took a deep breath when the phone was answered
"Hello , raizada group " said a female voice on the other side she recognized it to be arnavs receptionist.
She replied saying
" i am calling from AS fashion house to confirm the meeting today with mr raizada "
" hold on one moment i will transfer you to mr raizada's number "
khushis heart began to flutter when she heard a sexy male voice on the other line
" hello mr raizada , i am calling from AS fashion house to confirm the meeting at 5 pm today "
" khushi ?? is that you ?"
"hi arnav , yeah its me " she said as she blushed a fine crimson
he replied
" its so nice to hear your voice khushi , hows work going ? and yes the meeting is on for today , "
she replied saying
" good i guess kinda boring , waiting for our dinner tonight "😳
he grinned a huge grin in his office hearing that , she was waiting for dinner with him😃 he replied
" yeah so am i , anyway you should get back to work , i will see at the meeting and then we will go for dinner , bye "
she said
" yeah i look forward to it , bye arnav "
and disconnected the call , boy was she waiting for that meeting 😳 , but she couldn't handle that akshay , she just hoped he wouldn't flirt with her in front of arnav as she remembered when he had got angry when those boys tried to flirt with her on their walk .
Time passed quickly and before she knew it , it was 4:50 and she had to go greet the raizada officials with akshay . He came down to her office and said
" come on khushi we have to go greet arnav " as he touched her shoulder , khushi did not like that
she replied coldly
" as you wish sir "
they went to the entrance and greeted arnav and his colleagues , as they were walking in arnav looked at khushi and gave her a suggestive wink before he smirked and walked with akshay , leaving khushi blushing to herself , they went up to the conference room and began the meeting.
They had to start up the power point presentation but it was not working and nobody could fix it so khushi went up and leaned in to fix it , as she was fixing it her dupatta slipped a little bit , which gave akshay and arnav an ample view of her milky white neck , akshay stared at her shamelessly while arnav glared at him for his audacity to stare at his woman like that .
Arnav turned his gaze towards khushi hoping she would notice and put her dupatta up , she felt a heated gaze on her and saw arnav looking at her while his eyes told her to look at her neck , she saw that her dupatta had slipped and quickly adjusted it , hindering akshays lustful gaze .Arnav was angry now , how could akshay do that !!?? and that to , to his khushi , boy this man had no limits whatsoever .
Khushi fixed the powerpoint and said
"its fixed "
to which akshay went and put his arm around her and said
" look at her , beautiful and resourceful "
to which to colleagues laughed , but arnav remained stone faced , angry , boiling with jealousy , his mind thinking of various ways to murder akshay and then flee the country with khushi . the nerve of that man , khushi moved away from akshay uncomfortably and sat on the table opposite arnav.
Throughout the meeting akshay tried to flirt with her , but khushi paid no heed to his advances as arnav was playing with her foot under the table , so her mind was completely , towards him and his smirk which never left his face , she blushed at his playful antics and rolled her eyes at akshays advances , the meeting finished and the deal was made , arnav was going to be visiting a lot which made both arnav and khushi happy .
PRECAP : Arnav and khushi out at dinner 😳 , anjali sees them there , does she interrupt , or does she let her little brother spend some time with the beautifuk woman he's sitting and smiling at ??😉
