Virat ran his hands through his hair in frustration, he had been restless this whole week and he didn't know how to define it. And instead of it getting better it kept getting worse. He knew it wasn't work as everything at the office was moving so smoothly, and it wasn't his health because his Ma took complete care of that, he was just lost and frustrated. Slamming the car door closed behind himself, he walked into the hall, placing his laptop case on the sofa he sighed.

"Virat, ahh gaiya tu?..go get freshened up beta and i will get your dinner ready..hmm?", Ma said to him, running a soothing hand through his hair.

Just quietly nodding in acceptance, he headed to his room to change.

Kadhambari smiled to herself as she watched her older son walk away to his room dejected. She had seen the restlessness in him, and had immediately caught the cause as he became thus only a few days after the Chaudhry's returned to Rhishikesh, and now she had amazing news to give him at dinner, news that would make him smile like an idiot she bet. Laughing, she headed to the kitchen to fix up his dinner plate.

Dinner was a silent affair, he was still feeling low. As he got up off the table helping Ma carry the dishes into the kitchen the house phone started ringing. Walking out to the hall he reached for it and picked it up off one of the tables.

"Hello?, Virat said into the phone as his Ma too joined him now.

"Hii..", a melodious voice answered on the other side.

Virat stood still a minute, taking in her sweet voice, letting it fill the void he had felt this last week as it did all his pent up frustration vanished in seconds, as if she had been the only reason of his frustration'.?

"Viraatt'Kahan koh gaye"?? Manvi asked with a confused tome.

"Woh..Kahin nahin' tum batao kaise ho or bakki sab"? Virat asked coming out of his reprieve.

" Yahan sab achai hain, sirf Arnav Bhaiya ka dil nahin laagh rah an ajj kaal" Manvi replied with a laugh.

"Hahahahaa'Khushi ka bhi yehi haal haii " answered Virat also laughing.

"Acha Chachi hai pass? " she asked him now.

"Haan yehi hain'main unko delta hoon.." Virat said and handed the phone to Ma.

"Hello? Manvi Betii kaise ho?", Ma called into the phone as Virat stood beside her trying to overhear their convo, wanting to hear her voice for as long as possible.

"Mein teek hoon Chahchi app kaise ho? or baakki sab?", Manvi asked Khadhambari Chachi.

"Sab geek gain'teri studies kaise chaal rahin gain?" Chachi asked her.

"Achi, bas courses khatam ho gayai hain finally'ache yeh lejhiye Ma se baat keejhye" Manvi said to her as she passed the phone to her Mom, but stood beside her listening into the conversation.

"Namaste", Shurti said into the phone.

"Namaste'kaiser ho app sab" Khadambhari asked.

"Sab Achai hain'app sunai?'waise meine phone iss liye kiya tha poochne kai liye kai app sab khab ahh rahein ho?" Shruti asked her.

"Hum bhi teek hain'ji bas dho din mein main or DiDi ahh rahin hain'pir bachai or baaki sab uskai dho theen din baad" Khadhambari replied.

"Hmm teek hain'bas yehin poochna tha'abhi chaalthi hoon'bohoot saraa kaam baaki hain", Shruti said.

After ex-changing goodbye's Khadhambari hung up and turned to see son lost in a world of his own, no longer looking lost or frustrated.

"Virat" she called him softly, and watched him turn to her finally realizing he was still in the hall.

"Ji Ma", he asked her.

"Kuch Nahin jao soh jao'u look so tired.." she told him running a loving hand through his hair.

"Hmm..Good Night..", he said bending and kissing her check lovingly.

"Good Night..", she softly called after him'her heart filled with warmth, happiness and peacefulness seeing her son so at peace once again.

A slightly dazed Virat headed upto his room, and seeing that it was already late tucked himself into bed. As he closed his eyes, he couldn't stop the smile from adorning his face at the thought of soon being in rhishikesh near her again soon. He couldn't understand what it was or why it was happening, all he knew was that these next 5 days had better pass soon..!

Five Days Later- On Highway (4pm)

Virat was over joyed, and he knew it was showing on his face, but cleverly hid it behind excitement of the trip and wedding to come. At first the 5day week seemed to drag, but after his Ma, Bua and Shlok had left to get a head start on the preparations, time had flown. As he had devoted all his time and effort into his work, not wanting any disruptions during the happy occasion. Just then the turn towards the village came and as he turned onto it, his heart filled with a new sense of urgency of some kind.

"Ekkk almost Home!" Jeevika Bhabhi said as she jumped in the backseat.

"Jeevikaa you acting like you 10" Viren Bhaiya who sat in the shotgun seat, teased her and they all laughed as Bhabhi stuck her tongue out at him.

"Waise Bhabhi pehle kahan jaana gain? Appkai ghar ya guest house jahan hum rehne walle gain?", Virat asked her as he parked the car in front of Chaudhry Mansion 10 minutes later.

"Humare Ghar, sab wahan hi hain" she replied as she stepped out of the car with Khushi and Bhaiya.

Stepping out of the car, Virat turned to the other car that parked next to theirs as Bhaiya, Bhabhi and Khushi headed inside and helped DadaJi out as Inder Chachu and Phupha Ji also stepped out. Soon servants came to help gather their things and take them to the guest house across the street where they would be staying and park the cars in the garage, after overseeing it all Virat finally headed inside, his patience almost at a point of meltdown. Stepping inside the hall, he walked into the main area and was welcomed by Dadu, Pinky Aunty, Shruti Aunty, Madan Uncle and Shashank Uncle..he sat chatting with them for a while, but as time ticked and he didn't get a glimpse of the angel he desired to see his patience began to run out. A while later, when he was sure his patience was about to explode' a voice called out for him.

"Partner!?", he heard a melodious voice scream at him from upstairs.

Turning toward the voice he could help the smile that adorned his face, at seeing his angel, his partner after so long. She looked as beautiful as ever dressed simply in a shalwar suit with a braid down the side.

"Partner, sunai delta hain ya behrai ho kya??", she called again, bringing him out of his reprieve.

"Kya karo tumhari awaaz hi aisi hain kai khano kai undhar nahin jaathi?!", he called back up, as the adults laughed at their non jhok.

"Baatein baad mein banana Chep'upar ahh jao hum sab terrace pe hain", she replied as she stuck her tongue out at him.

"Chep?! abhii ahh kai baata hoon bandhariyann", he said as he ran towards the stair and up.

Manvi seeing him come up, squealed and made a dash for the 2 flight of stairs that she had to climb to get to the terrace'but just as she was about to turn from the narrow hall out onto it, a pair of hard muscular arms grabbed her by the elbow and turned her making her back hit the wall and he surrounded her locking her in-between himself and the wall.

Still panting due to short breath after the climb up two flights of stars, Manvi looked up already knowing it could only be him, Virat, and was slightly shaken by what she witnessed. Virats eyes bore into her, as if taking in each and every inch, as if'his life depended on making sure she was normal and whole. Just then his eyes locked with hers, and they stood exchanging words that couldn't be said for neither was sure of what exactly was happening.

"Oye Chep! Aise kya ghoor rahein ho?", Manvi said a few minutes later, still panting this time not from climbing the steps but from the way he held her close with both his hands placed loosely on her hips, the way he looked at her as if she was a diamond or something.

"Ghoor koun raha hain?? Main tho examine kar raha tha!", he replied as he pulled away from her, leaving her cold??

"Examine?! Kyaaa?", she asked him confused.

"Haan kai Bhandhariyan lad khi kai disguise mein kaise dikthi hain..or result yeh hain kai'kai woh bhandhariyan ki lagthi hainnn!", he replied as he winked at her as she stood trying to make sense of his words.

As they sunk in a minute later, her eyes popped wide, and as she want about to jump on him she glared at him, but just before she could grab his hair he ran out onto the terrace and hide behind Di who sat on one of the two charpai's (the beds made out of wood and rope used commonly in villages) placed in the middle of the terrace. Knowing that Di would take her "Devars" side, Manvi let it be for now and went to go sit next to Khushi on the same charpai, she would get him back later on her own.

Virat was a little confused of why his bhandhariyan let it be'but then he caught the glint in her eyes and knew that the game had only been postponed for later. He sat playing with Bhabhi's dupatta as he heard the others plan events for the next few days leading upto the wedding.

"Waise Bhabhi' app ho kiss ki side me? I mean Khushi appki Nanad hain or Aarnav appke Bhai'tu?", Virat asked her.

"Arre haann app ho kisski side pe?", Khushi asked her, with a pout pataoing her to be on her side.

The next minute Arnav and Khushi were going at each other claiming people on their sides'having enough of the argument 10 minutes later, Manvi spoke up.

"BAS!!'How about we just split up into two teams..boys vs. girls!", Manvi squealed at her idea.

"Mathlab" Virat asked her raising his eyebrows in that way of his nd standing up as he placed his hands on his hips.

"Mathlab yeh hain Chep, kai tum Aarnav Bhaiya or jiju ek taraaf or main Di or Khushi Bhabhi ek taraaf!", she replied with a grin.

"Brilliant!"

"YES!"

"Awesomee!"

"Ekkk!"

"Bhandhariyan ka bhi dimaagh chaltha hain! wahhh!"

They all screamed out, Manvi stuck her tongue out at him as he winked back.. and they all soon got back into planning events in full mode!
